Clear Communications and Timely Responses.
Unfortuntely as car hire is a bit of a lottery I used this company for excess cover. I was given a competitive quote and purchased. I was clearly informed of the processes should an incident arise. I did need to avail of this policy's cover due to a claim from Sixt and it was dealt with promptly by CarHireExcess who were flawless in responses

Excellent experience
I don’t usually post reviews online but I genuinely cannot believe how positive and easy my claim experience was with this company…. in a world where there is always a long winded tedious process to claim for anything through insurance companies. From start to finish there was a clear process, full and accurate communication and no issues whatsoever. I am so glad that I found this company and will be renewing my annual subscription every year… just in case! And all for a minimal price in comparison to the daily fee I used to pay to the car hire companies. Thank you.

I signed up for the annual worldwide cover which was great value. My wife recently scuffed an alloy wheel on our hire car in Portugal (I usually do the driving abroad!). The true test of an insurance company is how they deal with claims and I'm happy to report carhireexcess.ie were extremely efficient. All I had to do was upload a few documents (from memory drivers license, rental agreement, damage report and credit card statement) . Within a few days the money appeared in my bank account. It's refreshing to see a well run efficient company when so many others seem to have gone to the dogs.
