Friendly and professional staff
Everyone my husband and I dealt with during the purchase of our new car was incredibly friendly, helpful and professional, and that is the main reason for my rating. The process was easy and smooth, and we are very pleased with the car which we feel was a fair price.
There were two things I was less happy with: one, we were asked to pay the full balance in advance of seeing or test driving the car; I felt uncomfortable with this and don’t think it was necessary given that I could have done an instant bank transfer at the time of collection; and two, the car was still registered to the previous owner in the Mercedes system, and it turns out I will need to visit our local main dealer once my V5 document comes through to get the system switched over to me so that I can use all the functions of the car and the Mercedes app - however I appreciate that as an independent dealer there probably isn’t a lot Carlingo can do about this.

Buying my first car after passing
From browsing to buying to the handover of my new car everything was amazing service everything explained in lots of detail staff all polite and welcoming price was as expected I'm really happy with my first car after passing they made me feel at ease no pressure what so ever I really recommend if you want to feel as part of a friendly family like environment 10/10 for service I will deffo be returning in the future.

Fabulous experience
I was recently put in a position where I had to get a car very quickly. The experience with Carlingo was excellent. Luckily they had 2 cars which fitted my requirements. The car I'd chosen to look at didn't click with me so I asked to look at the 2nd one which did. Daniel Elwood was so lovely and helpful and there was no sales pressure at all. He and a colleague helped to arrange my finance deal for which I am very grateful. Joseph Mcgrath dealt with me for the final paper work and was also lovely and helpful. I would have preferred to been able to have more time in getting a car but this was an extremely reassuring experience in a very stressful situation for me. Totally recommended!

Good experience buying a second hand car
Excellent range of cars in the price bracket and spec that I wanted. Staff helpful but not pushy. Straight forward part ex on my car. Pick up and paperwork clear and efficient. New to me car immaculate on hand over. Good over all experience.

good service overall, but check the details
good service and the cars available were all of a high standard. Sales rep was helpful and chatty without being pushy or overbearing. Gave us plenty of time to discuss options and consider.
Only issue is we were told new wipers would be fitted to the car ahead of collection (were obviously worn out on test drive) but this hadn't happened when we went to colelct

When are sold is agreed, the effort should not stop
Enquiring and agreeing a sale was very easy. Found Jimmy to be very helpful and not "pushy".
When it came to handover I was not so impressed. Joey did not look as though he was enjoying his job and his inter-personsl skills were clearly lacking .
When I asked fit help, hus response was. " that will take longer ". I was surprised at this response, as during the video there was a prompt to ask for help if needed
Overall I would recommend Catlingo but I do feel that there is a training need with one of your staff

Well worth a visit
All the cars were very well presented and the staff very helpful and friendly despite my not having an appointment. All paperwork and processes went very smoothly and delighted with my vehicle. They have a great selection of cars all beautifully valeted. Well worth a look.

Easy car buying experience with great service and prices
The whole thing was so easy. I’d seen a car online and called asking to see it, went in the same day to look around the car. Danny was very helpful and getting all the documents finished was quick and easy. The car was all cleaned and ready on the day I picked it up and the handover process was simple too. I managed to get a better price trading in my car than the quote I’d been given from another buyer online.

Having paid the full screen price and…
Having paid the full screen price and despite promises to the contrary, the car was dirty both inside and out when I collected it - very poorly prepared. Never experienced this before which was a real surprise from a company that prides itself of customer care.
