They have refused to return my plates…
They have refused to return my plates so I can claim a refund on the registration. After daily messages for a week and phone calls, still nothing. It seems they have now registered my vehicle in their own names, claiming the reminding of the years registration. Not happy at all….
Poor communication Their telephone constantly crackles so you can’t hear them, as if they were overseas. Very disappointed. I’ve stopped trying to get my refund with vic roads as this whole process has been exhausting.

Hi Linton,
The registration refund process and plate handling requirements were discussed during the inspection and handover stage. Customers wishing to retain their plates for registration cancellation or refund purposes are required to remove and keep the plates prior to vehicle handover.
In this instance, the vehicle was handed over with the plates attached and the acquisition process was completed accordingly. Once the vehicle acquisition is finalised, returning plates is not operationally feasible.

Scammer vibes from the start. Sellers beware. Contacted me about a vehicle listed on Carsales and offered a ridiculously low amount for a car worth far more. The caller was rude, pushy, and the whole interaction felt dishonest and unprofessional. Would not recommend dealing with them.

Overall a good service
Overall a good service. I was initially a bit sceptical (worried about online scams) but they were professional and the process went really smoothly. Once price agreed and car inspected the funds were transferred quickly and I handed over the car.

I recently had to go through a warranty claim with Cars24 and honestly couldn’t fault the support I received from Emma and the Aftercare team.
From the moment I raised the issue, Emma was professional, responsive and genuinely helpful throughout the process. She kept me updated, explained the steps clearly and worked quickly to help get the matter resolved with minimal stress.
As a young family with two small kids, having our main car off the road was pretty stressful, so the communication and urgency shown by Emma really made a difference.
