Castle Trust Bank was launched as 'Castle Trust' in October 2012, and in June 2020 we became Castle Trust Bank – a fully authorised UK bank. We’ve offered fixed-term, fixed rate savings accounts to existing customers since the end of 2020, and launched online savings accounts to new customers in August 2021. Eligible deposits with Castle Trust Bank are protected up to a total of £120,000 by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme, the UK’s deposit guarantee scheme. We are also a provider of specialist buy-to-let, and property development mortgages.

Brilliant online bank
I can't rate this bank more highly. The ISA application process was very easy, the team were extremely efficient when I had some queries and the ISA transfer all went smoothly. I really love the facility that shows you the daily interest accrued - wish all banks had that.

Have to close our accounts.
We have accounts with castle T/B for a long time Strange Bank not to open an account with if you are partners and have the same email id castleT/B don't accept it after a long time with them. Next time they will say you can't share the same home address with your partner so I have to buy small flat for my partner. We have different login credentials and we receive communications by post with our own name, so what's the problem. Sooner we have to close our accounts.

Competent and convenient
Recent transfer of an existing ISA from another company was accomplished quickly and without fuss. I already have a longer standing ISA and have been very satisfied as they are easy to contact and respond and best of all have handy little app!

I cannot compliment Castle Trust more on the case we submitted in the name of a trust which the solicitors realised needed to be amended to the beneficiaries of the Trust as borrowers
having already received an offer letter for the trust itself. Jackie Merrigan was fantastic and helped us and our clients so efficiently and effectively. Could not recommend Jackie and Castle Trust more highly.

Far from right
Keep getting warning to fund letters when I was funding by an ISA transfer with the maturity date previously given. Auto mated correspondence was the lame excuse each time.
Difficulty logging in, told needs to be done from website and no other source. Did this with the same result and only seem to get logged in on second attempt.

We’re sorry you’re disappointed with the emails that confirmed when the funding window would close. We were aware that you were funding by ISA Transfer but some of our customers add additional funds during this time too. The email does highlight that it can be disregarded if this isn’t the case.
We are aware of an issue affecting some customers logging into the Self-Service Portal which requires logging in again to access it.
We are working hard to resolve this issue and do apologise for any inconvenience this may cause in the meantime.
This issue isn't affecting our Mobile App so if you'd like some help with registering for this, please do reach out to us and we'll be happy to help.
