I have been dealing with CEC for more than 8 years, in that time they have worked hard to keep our cost of utilities competitive. Meeting our agreed year on year forecast. This in turn has allowed us to confidently quote competitively within our market sectors.
Their service runs quietly in the background producing high level report tailored to out needs.

I worry that the energy procurement/broking sector is completely unregulated. I worry about hidden/non transparent uplifts, commissions paid by utilities to brokers etc.This issue did hit the national press a year ago. I trust these are eliminated through my fixed price contract with CEC and letter of authority which rules out such charge. I have experienced three brokers in my 10 years working in the schools sector, and I have the most confidence of the three in CEC and specifically our account manager, Derry Brophy, who is helpful and responsive. Hence entering into a two year contract.I am looking forward to support on water as the third utility.

Made the right choice choosing CEC. Rebecca, our account manager, is excellent. From renewals to sorting out problems from the supplier nothing is a problem.
