I just completed surgery to remove cataracts and trifocal lens replacement. I spent one week, from the first tests to the final consultation. The eye tests are comprehensive, taking over three hours. The final part is a consultation with Mr Daya who clearly explains the issues and the proposed solutions. It is daunting surgery, however, Mr Daya is a true and considerate expert in his field, so your concerns are quickly put to rest. As well as introducing you to videos to watch on what the surgery entails.
On the day of surgery, the clinical staff explain the exact steps that will follow. I found this very comforting. At times, I did feel.the preparation was taking time; however, the preparation is meticulous. The actual surgery is pain free and quick. I had one eye done at a time.
As I write this - five days after the first eye was done, I can see clearly! I'm hoping for further improvement as the coming weeks pass.
Overall, the team are extremely professional, all led under the leadership and expertise of Mr Daya. He only has one objective - to make your vision better. And that he has achieved.

WHAT A SHAMBLES THIS COMPANY IS IN. ORIGINALLY I HAD AN APPOINTMENT ON 3 FEBRUARY 2025 WHICH THEY CANCELLED AND RESCHEDULED FOR 25 FEBRUARY 2025. I CHECKED ON 30 JANUARY 2025 AND WAS TOLD THAT THAT APPOINTMENT HAD BEEN CANCELLED AND I WAS TO ATTEND ON 3 FEBRUARY 2025. I WAS NOT ABLE TO ATTEND AND WAS TOLD THEY WOULD CALL ME ON 3 FEBRUARY 2025. NEEEDLESS TO SAY, I AM STILL WAITING.

They ruined my eyes!! Nearly 10 years on after multifocal lens exchange and I have not been able to work as a camera person since.

They kept telling me it would go away. The severe high preventing need to be able to drive, the severe dry eye, the poor neuro adaptation to the lenses never got better.

Not once they ever informed me that there were something whereby the brain doesn’t work with the multifocal lenses they put in. This is not rare. I have learned a lot about how the brain works with these lenses. If you have any kind of processing issues such as ADHD, SPD, et cetera. Your eyes most likely will not adapt to these lenses. I’m now having to seek treatment in the United States for special reflective lenses that will help to correct these issues. This is going to cost me nearly as much as it cost to have the lenses put in. This company‘s absolutely disgusting Mr. Daya is unbelievably arrogant. I asked for him to refund me because of the extreme issues I had after the operation and he flat out refused. He’s got insurance. My life was ruined. Please do your research before you get lenses a single focal distance lens is not a problem. It’s the multifocal lenses that I was pushed into getting saying that they were all singing dancing and would correct everything but in fact they ruined my eyes. They know there’s a statute of limitations as to being able to take a claim against them so they just keep telling you it’s going to get better and you believe them. Shame on this company.

What made my experience great was that I was so nervous to have both eyes done at once however the experience was totally painless and professional and quick I had panicked for no reason.

Cataract surgery performed expertly by Mr Sheraz M Daya on both eyes. Trifocal lense implants in one procedure and I am now glasses free with better than perfect vision. From start to finish the attention to detail, friendly professionalism and expertise of everyone at Centre For Sight was outstanding.
I cannot praise Mr Daya and his team too highly, and would recommend the procedure to anyone. It truly can be life changing.

Centre for sight has given me a new life, to be able to see without glasses is amazing, Adora who did my eye tests was amazing, she explained what she was doing and what to expect, she carried out a very thorough examination and made me feel at ease throughout, all the staff I had dealings with at the centre were incredibly helpful and very friendly, I couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

Dr Sheraz Daya was highly recommended by several people who underwent cataract surgery at the Centre for Sight. When I did my own research, I discovered he is in fact a world renowned top surgeon with many awards. A pioneer in all aspects of eye surgery to restore sight, he travels the world lecturing, sharing his extensive knowledge and helping those most in need through charitable work. When I met him, his care and attention to detail were exceptional, including comprehensive pre-op assessments, all of which put me at ease. My cataract surgery for finevision trifocal lens was very straightforward - super quick, I didn't feel a thing and woke the next morning with 20:20 vision. I am thrilled with the trifocal lens as I never have to wear glasses again. It also means I can wear sunglasses straight off the shelf!

Dr Daya leads the UK in advances in exemplary eye care and runs a very efficient clinic with an especially supportive team that offers patient centred care. I highly recommend him - a safe pair of hands and an outstanding surgeon.

From the moment I entered their East Grinstead Clinic, I felt in good hands. Every member of staff was helpful, friendly and caring.
Dr Espinosa did my Consultation and the operations were done by Dr Daya. Both are amazing people and the doctors.
I had my cataracts removed and had a trifocal lens replacement surgery. I have a 20/20 vision, I can read, use the laptop and see far without glasses.

My experience at centre for sight was exceptional. From my initial appointment right through to my surgery they were amazing. A special thank you to Adora who was with me every step of the way. She made me feel assured and comfortable the whole way through the process. I now have super vision and I cannot thank them enough - it has changed my life!

I had lens replacement surgery recently and I’m so delighted that I have done it in the age of 55 and wish I have had done it earlier.
I’m very short sighted (-11.50) and needed to wear reading glasses when use my phone plus my cataract has begun… therefore I decided to do this treatment. I was super nervous but Dr Daya and his team have been amazing throughout. When I went back to do the follow up check the day after the surgery with Dr Espinosa who was so sincerely adviced me it’s never too late to do the surgery. So book a consultation first to see whether you are suitable for any types of surgery they have here. I’m so grateful that I have a good vision now to see very far and can read small prints on my phone too…after 30 year replying on glasses and contact lens …it makes such impact on my daily life. Thank you, thank you very much. I highly recommend to everyone who would like see well without glasses. 🙏🙏

My expectations were exceeded. The people there are so wonderful. I was relaxed and at ease from the moment I entered. I had two cataract surgeries. One on a Monday and one on a Wednesday. There was hardly any pain or itching or discomfort afterwards. Almost negligible.
The staff are very friendly. Marcella Espinosa is a great eye specialist.

I wish to mention Belma, Adora , Sam , Anthony? And the other staff who work at East Grinstead.
Together. They are a great team. Apologies to those whose names I can not remember.
I can not believe how clear and pure my vision is following the operations.

From start to finish the communication, care and service was exceptional.

My sight has been restored and I no longer need glasses. The main thing for me was that I hadn’t realised how badly my eyes were being affected by the cataracts. Reading my iPhone and Italian Restaurant Menus is no longer a trial.

Aged 74, I had surgery on both eyes last Wednesday, 8.8.24, to remove cataracts and to have trifocal fine lenses implanted. Within 15 hours of surgery, I had amazing sight. Sheraz Daya is such an awesomely gifted surgeon, and I feel profound gratitude for now apparently having 'fighter pilot standard vision'! What a wonderful experience! Can't believe my result. I'm 45 and been wearing glasses for more than 25 years.
I had a 5 minutes surgery in Mr. Daya's beautiful countryside clinic, and now I have a 20/20 vision.

I received excellent patient care at Centre for Sight, East Grinstead. I felt in very safe hands having cataract surgery with the very professional and personable team. I felt respected and given time to make my choices. Special thanks to Mr Saj Khan, Adora and Aline for going above and beyond.

On May 14th 2024, I had the procedure known as YAG Laser Capsulotomy on my left eye.

I was warmly welcomed by Rachel. Then Edora efficiently did all the preliminary test, explaining everything as she went along, Not least, Mr Kan, who also explained everything that he was doing. His friendliness, confidence and general chit chat meant before long the procedure was done and I was on my way home.

The next day I was able to confirm to Edora, on the follow up call, that all was well.
On the 25th June I had my final eye check with Mr Khan. Happy to say all went well. Good to know that if I was worried about anything, they are only a phone call away.
