I have very complex eye conditions as a result of chemical burns to both eyes several years ago. My treatment journey has been incredibly difficult and, at times, horrendous. After years of navigating this challenging journey, I truly value Mr Hamada’s knowledge, experience and clinical judgement.

He is exceptionally empathetic and understanding, but most importantly, he gives me hope. He is always honest about the complexity of my conditions while clearly explaining the available options and surgical techniques that may help improve my vision. His expertise and knowledge reassure me and give me confidence in my treatment.

Not long ago, Mr Hamada performed a very challenging cataract removal on my right eye. Some people might think it was simply cataract surgery, but my case was far from straightforward. I had a hypermature cataract and significant corneal scarring, which made the procedure particularly challenging and increased the risk of complications. I cannot express how grateful I am to Mr Hamada for the successful outcome of the surgery.

Mr Hamada, thank you for being there for me and supporting me throughout this incredibly difficult journey. I am truly grateful for your expertise, honesty, empathy and, above all, the hope you continue to give me.

Professional and competency levels so high that I felt completely at ease from the time i started my discussion about my needs to Samer . He is a lovely gentleman. He asked questions that instinctively felt appropriate and I sensed that my poor eye was in good hands, The nursing team is equally excellent as is all the support staff. I would thoroughly recommend the clinic to all for crisp and bright vision.

I had an RLE surgery conducted by Dr Hamada. It was a great experience from start to finish. The Eye Clinic and Dr Hamada had explained the procedure in great detail before the start, which eased a lot of fears and concerns on my part. The actual surgical procedure went without a hitch. Disappointed by lack of warning regarding multifocal lens side effects.
​I saw Mr Hamada for private lens replacement surgery. While the reception staff were polite, I am very disappointed with the consultation and what I was told regarding multifocal intraocular lenses.
​Before surgery, I had clear natural lenses and only needed reading glasses.I was never informed that diffractive multifocal lenses cause permanent severe visual compromises, such as concentric rings and halos around lights at night, as well as a noticeable reduction in visual contrast. Had these specific trade-offs and diffractive ring artifacts been explained to me in a way I could fully understand beforehand, I would not have agreed to this particular lens type also called premium.
I can no longer drive because of the severe aberrations and have lost a lot of light during the day and night. There are no treatments for my disabilities. This was of course my own experience with Mr Hamada.

I’ve been to Eye Clinic London a few weeks ago to check my myopia condition. Mr Hamada identified my ongoing chronic allergy in my eyelids that I didn’t know about prior, and he prescribed me the correct medication in order to treat it. Mr Hamada is a great doctor and I would recommend him to anyone who needs a thorough examination.

The people make it great. They are exceptional. Their professionalism, emotional support, clear communication, prompt attention, and responsiveness made the experience worthwhile. They provided more than just medical treatment.

I recently had RLE surgery last week, and I cannot praise Mr Hamada and his team enough. From my very first appointment, Mr Hamada was excellent — reassuring, professional, and happy to answer all of my questions and concerns. He clearly explained both the pros and cons of the procedure, which made me feel confident and fully informed throughout the process.

I had the procedure done using only numbing eye drops, with no sedative, and there was absolutely no pain or discomfort. The procedure itself took around 30–40 minutes in total, and both eyes were done at the same time.

One week later, my vision is perfect. I had my post-operative consultation yesterday, where Mr Hamada confirmed that I am healing very well and that my vision is now 20/20. I have followed all of the post-operative advice carefully and my recovery has gone smoothly.

Very welcoming and friendly, keep you updated which is reassuring. Everyone seems to genuinely care about the patients. I was quite nervous but the actual procedure was quick and painless and im so glad I no longer need to wear glasses!

Dr. Hamada is an excellent doctor. His experience with KC made my treatment process very smooth. I had two operations, and both went very well. The procedures were handled professionally, and I healed well after each one.

Mr Hamada conducted a thorough examination of my eyes, quickly diagnosed the problem & clearly explained the best way forward. I needed cataract surgery & a DMEK procedure & both were completed within 3 months. The DMEK was performed once suitable donor tissue became available. Both operations are a complete success. I’ve just had bilateral RLE surgery to address my reading and intermediate vision which has deteriorated over the last 10 years. After just 6 days my vision is amazing. Reading and intermediate is near perfect and my 20:20 distance vision has also improved, which is a complete surprise. Quite unbelievable. The results so far have surpassed my expectations and I cannot thank Mr Hamada and his team enough. Absolutely amazing!
