For someone who has never heard of, used, let alone install this app they seem to be trying to hit my bank account fairly often and hard multiple trial runs

Was looking up reverse lookup for a phone number that had been calling and I also looked it up to find family..... Well Champsy somehow got in my subscription and tried charging my card 99.00 repeatedly. I luckily was using a prepaid and didn't have that much on said card. And also my card has cancelled this subscription.

Es handelt sich um Abzocke – es wird willkürlich ein Ort angezeigt, der bei mir in den USA lag, und einen Tag später wurden einfach 45 € abgebucht, als hätte man ein Abo abgeschlossen. Dieses „Unternehmen“ hat weder Kontaktdaten noch eine Telefonnummer. Am Freitag werde ich bei der Polizei eine Anzeige gegen diese Homepage und die Bank (N26) erstatten.

I went to app. Once did not get number so closed thinking I would be charged cents for one attempt..Next I knew I was charged $ 68.73. When asking for refund I was offered only half of the charge. In other words I was charged but received nothing.

Absolute Betrüger. Ich fühle mich auch durch die Bank nicht mehr geschützt, man gibt einen kleinen Betrag frei und das ist für die ein Abo und ziehen jedes Monat Geld ab und die Bank sagt selber schuld. Vollster Betrug.

I concur with other reviewers regarding Chamspy’s deceptive pricing and poor customer service. Chamspy do not adhere to their own terms and conditions. In my case, I cancelled, within the 24-hour period as of T&Rs) a subscription (which I didn’t know I had purchased in the first place) and did not receive my money back. Chamspy uses an AI based customer interface TryHelp that is unable to deal with cancellation issues and doesn’t appear to be supported by Chamspy. I have tried to get a response from a human being; this was four weeks ago, still pending despite my sending several reminders.

With regard.to Chamspy’s search capability, I don’t believe it is particularly good. A phone number that I received in a document (potentially a fake) was not found anywhere.

In essence, my advice is to keep away from Chamspy. Use services like ClarityCheck instead. Not only can you find phone numbers with ClarityCheck but also photos and other data snippets.

Says its a reverse phone number lookup of 36C Charge and says you you your report in some days but 2 days after i got a 49USD Charge and charges it every month this item is a scam do not waste your money

A novembre, persi il telefono. Cercai in rete un modo possibile per ritrovarlo, ero veramente disperata ...ed arrabbiata. Entrai in questo sito di truffatori (perché è il loro vero ed unico aggettivo) e provai a vedere se poteva fare al caso mio, pagai 0.38€ ....poco dopo, navigando nel sito, mi resi conto che non faceva al mio caso ...pertanto annullai il tutto, almeno credevo di averlo fatto. Il 6/12 mi vengono prelevati dalla carta 49.58€ per un',ipotetico abbonamento. Mi arriva una mail che mi avvisa che il prelievo è andato a buon fine. Cerco di contattarli ma vengo indirizzata ad un centralino non gestito da persone....impossibile parlare con qualcuno....probabilmente AI. Non ricevo risposte di nessun tipo. Invio una mail ma nessuna risposta....blocco la carta...e questa mattina mi arriva un messaggio che mi avvisa che è stato richiesto il pagamento di 49.58 ma che non è stato pagato.

Le site m’a facturé 0,38€ pour retrouver un numero. Puis m’a prélever 49,80€ par la suite.
Ma faute, je n’ai pas lu les cgv.

Par contre, j’ai résilié
l’abonnement immédiatement après ce premier prélèvement, soit le 29/11/2025

Surprise, ils m’ont encore prélevé le 29/12.
Je ne vais pas en rester là et je vais faire un signalement à la répression des fraudes

Realised they were not what I expected and told them to cancel my details and any payments but got an email with login details and password so sent another email confirming I didn't want the service and wanted a refund. Next morning found a pending payment for $74.76 on my bank site so queried them and was told to go to TryHelp site that handles this for them and cancel there and ask for the refund via the link they gave. Couldn't get through as that site kept saying there was a problem with the link so went back to Chamspy help and just kept getting rediculous emails saying help with their product and would not help me at all
. I have contacted my bank and reported to scamwatch as both sites come up as scam sites in my protection software so now don't know how to delete this subscription or my details and stop recurring billing.

This place is an absolute scam you put in phone number and then all this blurred information shows up and then underneath that you will get you have to pay to unlock it as soon as you pay all that information disappears and goes and you’ve paid for absolutely nothing. Do not use this site you will lose your money.
