I used Charlene's Safe Rides to transport my out of town physicians from the Durham Marriott to various locations in the area. The service was excellent and they were on time! My guests seemed to enjoy the service as well. Thank you CSR for providing excellent service.

Have used this service a couple of times , and was happy with the performance of all the drivers.

When I need a taxi, I always contact Charlene's Safe Ride. Over the years, they have consistently provided reliable, courteous service. Their drivers are on time, helpful with baggage and take the most efficient routes. Their website is excellent and allows one to reserve and pay for the ride in advance if desired. Someone calls to verify so there is no confusion. I recommend this taxi service to all of my friends and family.

Charlene's safe ride has been late many times and overcharged a friend of mine without notice. She did not know until she checked her credit card statement. Also, their rates are not competitive compared to other cab companies in the area.

I used it to reach RDU airport and also on my way back. I really can't find anything
negative in the service they offered. They were super-efficient in managing my trip even thought I don't have a phone number. Quick and kind e-mail responses, efficient chat service, friendly taxi drivers PERFECTLY on time (even in advance), safe ride, clean cabs, possibility of paying via debit card with receipts e-mailed instantaneously, no surprises on the taxi fare (30$ dollars no matter on traffic).
If you don't belive me, try it!

Great service! My driver called me beforehand to let me know he would be waiting and gave me his personal cell number. The driver was 10 minutes early to pick me up. He helped me with my bags and the cab was clean which is called big plus for me. I liked the personal service and I felt like a vip. I have tried several other taxi companies in the past and was not impressed. I am glad I found this company and I will be using csr exclusively from now on. Would recommend to anyone!

I use this service to get my 8 years old boy to school. They have been on time, safely driving my child and affordable. I highly recommend them to everyone.

They advertise that they take Duke flex, but then refuse to take it as a form of payment once you are in the car. Ridiculous

Their online billing system allows for reliable, quick and secure payment options. Our drivers have always been prompt, courteous and flexible in meeting our needs including a wake-up call, driver name and number for coordinating location and exact time of pick-up and return services.

Super easy way to make reservation, driver was very nice and got us to the airport for a lower price than any other competitor.

I used Charlene's Safe Ride to get to and from the airport on a recent visit. The ride to the airport was fine: the driver was on time, courteous, and knew where he was going. Yhe ride that picked me up was less so.
First, as I'm landing I get a phone call from the driver, who says that he cannot wait for me any longer and will send another driver soon. The thing is, I had not only given Charlene's safe ride my flight number so they could track the flight, but my flight had arrived 15 minutes early.
Another driver calls me eventually and I after I get my luggage I meet the driver at a designated pick up spot. The driver does not get out of the car to help me with my bags, or even open the trunk of the car. Despite having a GPS in his car and the fact that I told him I had never been to Durham before, he asked me for directions to where I was staying. I was not impressed by his service or his abilities as a driver.
But I've definitely had worse taxi experiences in my life. I actually had worse taxi experiences while visiting Durham. This is why give the service 3 stars.

Don't try and book anything on line - you cannot do it. First it was a wildly incorrect amount ($3700 to travel from Durham to RDU), that was corrected and now it asks for information that it not on the form (your email) or has been done (accept terms).

There was a 15 minute delay for the arranged pick up time. Besides that, the service was great. They tryed to communicate with me for the delay but as I had an international cel phone number they couldn´t reach me.
