Out $300 thanks to these scammers. Websites been down for weeks, conveniently happened the day after I sold my voucher. Haven’t heard a word back and haven’t received my money. Unbelievable. We need a lawsuit.

Bought two vouchers for $1000 each, it says that seller has confirmed the name transfer for days, they never sent me the vouchers and I'm sure the seller won't get paid either. I emailed them multiple times without any response, and I'm $2000 out! SCAMMERS!

Sale completed Dec 30 2025 (€447.74 payout). Dashboard Stripe link is broken and support is unresponsive to several attempts to contact them. Website currently down (Cloudflare 522). Requesting payout resolution.

I posted my $323 AA trip credit available for use before the end of March 2026 and received several bids. I turned down a handful before receiving a bid for $260, which I accepted. I was prompted to enter the voucher information so it could be sent to Spare Fare, who said they would relay the voucher info to the buyer and collect payment, which would then be passed along to me. The bid was accepted and voucher information sent by me on 2/18/26. Since then - NOTHING. I went to SpareFare.net to see what the status was for my payment and the website doesn't seem to exist any longer. What happened?!?!

I sold a hotel booking through SpareFare (listing #111077). The stay ended on March 7th and the payout (160.51 EUR) is still pending.

I have tried contacting support via email, contact form, Facebook and LinkedIn with no response. Even the support email address is not working.

The platform shows the amount is due, but I have not received any update or payment yet.

I would appreciate an urgent response and resolution.

Update: The website is currently down and I still have not received any response or payment. I have now filed a formal complaint with the European Consumer Centre. Payment (160.51 EUR) remains pending.

I used the site at Dec'25 and everything went good and I received the money for my voucher. I sold now again the voucher and can't update the Stripe details. Based on other reviews here, it seems that I also lost my money!

I sold a voucher through SpareFare and my account shows that I have USD 760 available for payout.

However, I cannot withdraw the money because the platform requires a Stripe account setup that is not supported in my country (Brazil). When I try to connect Stripe, I receive an error saying that the required payout features are not available.

I contacted SpareFare support and received no response.

At this point:

- The voucher has already been given to SpareFare
- The buyer may or may not have received it
- I have no access to my funds

This creates a very concerning situation where sellers complete transactions but cannot receive payment due to platform limitations.

I've noticed several complaints lately against SpareFare and I'm just frustrated that I didn't see these earlier.

Update:

No response from their support still and noticed their site went offline 2 or 3 days ago.

I'm requesting some support from Stripe's side, since SpareFare supposedly uses them to effect payments to the users.

This is my first review for any company I pay £250 to purchase return flight to pizza the seller changed their mind and I’m still waiting for my refund since I’ve been reading other reviews. I don’t think I ever get that back. This is really unfair. I’ve been working with this company for a long time and this is the first time I came to this problem. I hope somebody from the firm read this and cease to the peoples problem. I sent so many emails so many text and keep saying there is nobody available at the moment and it will get back to you as soon as possible and nobody does shameful. It is a very good site people trust trusted and when this happens is hard breaking thank you for reading this.

Pretty sure it’s a scam and no-one works there.
Contacted them through all their contact channels (website chat, contact form, email and Facebook chat) but not received any reply. I’ve sold my ticket on there but they have not paid or replied for months now

I accepted a bid offer and was told buyer paid and I submitted all changes. I have not received anything via email in regards to payment and I have tried communicating w them on all channels including their website. No reply. Someone mentioned filing a class action law suit. Send more details when suit is filed so I can share my issue and documentation

I used this website a number of times over the last couple of years and done so without difficulty but it now seems to have become polluted by scammers who offer "vouchers" which they say they have to use to book and they are actually booking flights with stolen credit cards. The flights then get cancelled after you have parted with your money usually to a bit coin account

Since it’s now clear that this website has become a complete scam since the end of December 2025—taking money from users and failing to return it—I am considering launching a class action lawsuit. I’ve never done this before, but I’m willing to start the process on behalf of everyone affected by this massive scam.
To move forward, I would need support from as many victims as possible, along with evidence of non‑payment, lack of refunds, and unanswered customer service requests.
If you support this idea, please give this review a thumbs up. Based on the number of thumbs up, I will move ahead and contact supporters individually.

Previously was a great website, now it's just a scam? Upon buying a voucher and then being completely ignored this time, after paying £360 on the website there has been radio silence, I have sent multiple emails, tried the live chat, but nobody responds. I suppose I will have to just chargeback the money at this point, which I ask everyone in the same position as me to do, it will get our money back, and also should get their Stripe account terminated so they can no longer proceed with this scam, wasting everyones time & money.

Such a bad website also im not sure why do they not have an app. No customer service at all , cant upload a listing, keeps on deleting without explantion, and they take 12% of every sell

Been using for years and had no problems. But recently successfully purchased a flight voucher, Sparefare processed payment but never provided voucher ID or PIN. Repeated messages over days have been ignored. Looks like this is turning into a scam. Sad:(

Mala experiencia, compre 2 voucher y no recibi el link con el codigo, se hara desconocimiento y alerta de fraude.

Ho usato più di una volta SpareFare in passato, acquistando dei voucher aerei, e tutto si è svolto regolarmente. Recentemente, però, ho acquistato un voucher e non l'ho mai ricevuto; ho già segnalato più volte il problema, tramite chat e via mail, all'assistenza di SpareFare, ma non ho ricevuto nessuna risposta né tantomeno il rimborso. Non so cosa stia capitando... Se fino a qualche mese fa avrei consigliato SpareFare senza difficoltà, ora no: non vi consiglio di comprare e di vendere nulla, tanto più se d'importo considerevole!

I sold some airline credits on Sparefare.com on Jan 5 2026 and still have not been paid. The buyer paid sparefare, but Sparefare has not paid me. Sparefare refers me to an absurdly complicated app called "Stripe" for payments, which is designed for setting up a full-fledged web-based business with websites, invoices, API's and lots of other required info that does not apply to a one-time sale of airline credits. And I've gotten no help or even a response from Sparefare support. Spare Fare looks like a scam. AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!
