Impersonal and horrible customer service.

I do not recommend Cherry Financial. My experience has been extremely disappointing and misleading.

I applied for Cherry financing for services at a medical spa. Before receiving the services, I realized I was no longer financially able to continue with the payments, so I contacted the spa and canceled my appointments. I was instructed to continue making my monthly payments while my dispute was being reviewed, which I did.

After waiting for a resolution, I was told I would only receive a partial refund. However, instead of refunding any of the money I had already paid, Cherry applied the amount to what they claimed was my remaining loan balance. I don't understand how this is considered a refund when I never received any money back for services that I never received.

As a result, I paid more than $700 for absolutely nothing. I feel that the process was misleading, unfair, and lacked transparency. Consumers should fully understand how these financing agreements and refund policies work before signing anything.

Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Cherry Financial. I encourage others to do their research and read all of the terms carefully before using this company.

Whatever you do..do NOT use this company. I had to have major dental work done & got approved for a loan with them. HUGE MISTAKE! My down payment was made in office & the next due date was due 7/2. I did not make payment by 7/2..so it was considered late(but they give u 15 days until a late fee will apply). I had the due date changed to 7/11 but made STILL made my July payment on 7/7. When i spoke to chat representative they 1st said I was clear for the month of July even though it was still saying I was past due. So I reached back out TODAY & the virtual chat representative told me even though I made a payment on 7/7 Im still technically late because I didn’t make it on 7/2, even though I changed my due date to 7/11. And if I don’t pay by 7/28 there will be late fees! Why would I need to pay twice in 1 month….they are ripping people off! It makes no sense for me to pay twice in a month when I’ve already paid for the month of July…I have NEVER experienced this not even with the company SUNBIT! This company & misleading & I see now why it has a low rating! And if you call the number it’s a pre recorded virtual assistant…a whole mess! If I could give 0 stars I would!

They will charge you an insufficient funds fee even if you pay it the same day its due!! I am struggling and I have never paid late! The money just wasnt in my account but I transferred right away and paid on due date
to now find out ive been charged extra each time.

RUN! DECEPTIVE TRADE PRACTICES! I'm paying almost twice the amount of what the surgery cost! The interest rate changed after signing Use Care Credit! Cherry is slimy!

Very dishonest company. They charge enormous payments for small loans. They play on emotions of people and animals in need of medical care. They lie about payment plans and harass customers. They do not follow FTC procedures and have well over 200 BBB complaints against them. Worst company to do business with. Have dispute procedures in place because so many people have issues with them. Paid off one loan in full on time payments yet my second loan they tried charging enormously high payments and after much arguing agreed to more reasonable payments but then did not honor the payment plan. Have not used most of the loan because my dentist has an awful receptionist that won't make my appointment. Buyer beware of Cherry and any Dr office that uses them, be cautious.

As you can tell by the fact that this company has no five star reviews whatsoever I personally would recommend to anybody to never never use this company for financing when you’re trying to save your animal they really they don’t care whether or not your animal lives or dies and then they start sending you late notices seven days before your payments even due and the day that the payment is due, they threatened to turn you over to the collections because you’re you’re not even late at the due date so if I was you and you need a company that’s gonna help you and is actually gonna care about whether or not year animal survives definitely don’t go with Jerry. They are probably the worst company I’ve ever dealt with in my entire life.

I applied because my cat has cancer that can be removed. The total of the bill is ranging from 2.2k to 3k and I only got approved for 2k. And the no APR thing is bullshit. You only get that if you pay 500$ or more per month. If I had that kind of money, why the hell would I be applying for here???
I had to open a new bank cuz my job's bank wont take paypal transfers. Now its gonna get closed in 2 months due to the APR. Like what the hell is this payment plan?????

They said I owe them money for something I have no idea what it's about. No credit report is going down because of these people ripping people off.
Now I going hire a lawyer to get them from harassing me.
I told my bank I don't know this bullshit rip off company is and yet this company is getting away with ripping people off.
I reported them to the BBB.
I checked my credit report to see what it was now it went from 48 dollars to 150.
That's okay karma will catch up to these rip offs when I go to court they will have to pay me triple the amount when I take these low life's to court.

This is a very dishonest company. Do not trust them. Applied for large dental work loan promised 0% for 2 draws. 2nd draw came 3 weeks later now they want 5%. Not what was promised. Check all the BBB reviews they are constantly complained about. All they kept saying is sorry for"my misunderstanding" That was spoken to 2 people over the speaker phone. I will be letting me dentist any many others as well. This was bait and switch.

I used it for my cosmetic procedure and had no troubles with getting and all the questions were up front. Nothing unusual or suspicious at all. I was applying at the office with their tablet.However the downpayment that it was supposed to be part of the payment, was not. So instead of 6 months payments I was charged 7. I do agree that to contact the company is virtually impossible without having ton of patience and time.

Freeze your account for no reason and steals your money. BEWARE SCAMMERS!

The process to get financing through Cherry was quick and easy. The issues arise after you already have the financing. When I asked if there was an alternate way to access my account (for instance, logging in via email info) I was told the only way is to use your phone number. Which is NOT what I was told previously. I moved out of the country and now there is no way for me to access the account to pay it off.

So, I am forced to make these minimum payments that will end up costing me almost DOUBLE the amount I was originally financed for. It's 2025 and you are seriously telling me there is no alternate way to access accounts?

so freaking stupid.. everything doesn't make sense. Process, etc. Use your braincells on how to make your company better

Using this company was a horrible decision on my part. I wish I could take the decision back. Under duress, I got a loan, then realized after signing up, I am paying $ for $ double what I would have payed if I would have just put it directly on my credit card. $890. turned into $1780. It sickens me. Total regret!!!!!

Trash company I would not recommend, high chance of denial and even if you have available credit you won't be able to use it

Went to cancel automatic payment online- says unable to online, call support. Called support said can do online or via email. Emailed and got a return email that states “message rejected”

Totally inappropriate to not have an option to turn off auto pay- as I have already made a payment this month

RUN!!!!! HORRIBLE COMPANY. Signed up for interest free,,nope they were trying to charge me 18% interest. so paid it off immediately...there is NO CONTACT PERSON TO CALL.
I have been trying to close my account to no avail...seems like a huge scam. knew I should have stuck with carecredit instead of cherry...buyer beware..DO NOT USE
