If I could give this scam company a zero, I would do so for shady practices.
I have tried in vain to cancel my subscription and have emailed them several times to ask them to cancel on their end, as I do not have access to my account.
It clearly states on one their numerous websites:
"For now, billing is handled through Cheryl Porter Academy. To cancel or update your subscription, reach out through Support and we'll sort it out with you."
They will not.
Do not fall for this site.. once they have your money, the only way to get out of this subscription is to call your bank and cancel the card!

In May 2026, I signed up for the Sing On The Go app with a monthly subscription. The app does not offer a feature to cancel the subscription; instead, the instructions are to send an email. Twelve days before my monthly renewal date, I sent an email requesting cancellation. However, they have continued charging my credit card ever since.

I never got an invoice for my course purchase. I had to request one three times per email over the course of over two months to receive my card payment slip. This document does not mention the company I made the purchase from or what it is that I purchased. It doesn't even show my full name. When I mentioned that this was useless for my tax return (I am a professional performer) I was told they were unable to issue any other document. Dubious business.

I decided to try Cheryl Porter's "Sing Like a Broadway Star" course after following her for a while on social media. She's very popular, and the course advertised a money-back guarantee if you weren't satisfied, so I felt comfortable giving it a chance.

Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing.

As someone who currently takes lessons with a professional opera singer, I have a different perspective on what high-quality vocal training looks like. In my opinion, this course felt much more focused on marketing than on delivering in-depth singing instruction. I would describe it as 99% marketing and 1% quality vocal education.

I understand that everyone has different learning styles, and this is just my personal experience. If you're serious about learning to sing, I'd recommend investing in lessons with a qualified vocal coach or professional singer rather than relying on influencer-led courses.

I was also disappointed that I wasn't able to receive the advertised money-back guarantee, even after offering to keep and pay for part of the course.

Overall, I regret purchasing the course. If you're considering it, I'd encourage you to do your research and compare it with training from experienced vocal professionals before making a decision.

They charge you twice the price and there’s no support you can contact!

I purchased one of the singing programs expecting structured, in-depth lessons based on how it was advertised. Unfortunately, that wasn’t my experience at all.

Many of the “lessons” are extremely short—some under two minutes—and don’t actually teach technique in a meaningful way. Instead, they mostly consist of quick vocal drills with little to no explanation of what you’re doing, why you’re doing it, or how to improve. There are also occasional short motivational-style clips, but again, they’re very brief and not particularly instructional.

What I found most frustrating is that the program feels misleadingly marketed. Calling these segments “lessons” sets an expectation of guidance and teaching that just isn’t delivered. It feels more like a collection of exercises than an actual course.

I also want to point out an issue with the refund policy. The website prominently advertises a 30-day money-back guarantee, but there is a restriction that you cannot exceed 25% completion. I reached about 30% only because I was trying to give the program a fair chance and see if it improved—but that made me ineligible for a refund. This limitation is not emphasized clearly enough upfront, in my opinion.

Overall, I was disappointed. I wouldn’t recommend this program to anyone looking for structured vocal training or clear instruction.

My Facebook page was in inundated with her ads and, it looked pretty good, so I decided to order it. The price was reasonable at $27 so I clicked on ‘Buy’. It brought me to another page where it said pay $27 but my payment wasn’t going through. I got a text from my bank saying that I was being charged $54. I was asked to answer if I made the charge or not, so I said no I don’t recognize it because I didn’t want to pay an extra $27. I immediately got a text from my bank that they are sending me a brand new debit card. I am really angry, because I can’t use my debit card until I get a new one and it’s been five days and it hasn’t arrived yet. Now I have to contact every company that had my debit card and give them the new one, and there are plenty of them, which means I have to take the time to look up the companies and call them, and I really don’t have time for that. The website is very misleading! It makes you think you’re only paying $27.

I am extremely disappointed with the Cheryl Porter course. I was charged approximately €100, but when I requested a refund, they only returned €22 without any explanation.

I have sent multiple emails with full payment proof, but they have completely ignored me. Even worse, when I tried to ask for help on their social media, they deleted my comments instead of resolving the issue. This is dishonest and unprofessional.

Be careful before buying—once they have your money, they stop responding if there's a problem. I am now forced to initiate a chargeback with my bank.

No what I expected. I genuinely thought it was good, but definitely not a great online course at all.
