I received the best call ever today! Matt from Clarity Closings just called and they got my timeshare contract cancelled! No more maintenance fees for me! They have several payment options; I paid half the fee up front and half once done because that felt most comfortable to me. The process did take some time, but just be patient, and you too can have a happy ending with no more insane increases in maintenance fees.

They refuse to refund our money. It has been 20 months. We still have our timeshare. We have been asking for a refund for about 30 days now. They ignore all calls and emails.

Heather, your review contains multiple false and misleading statements that require correction.
Your claim that you paid $5,000 is inaccurate. Your total payment was $3,487. Additionally, your characterization of our money-back guarantee is incorrect. The guarantee applies only in the event of non-performance under the terms of the signed agreement. Clarity Closings has remained fully compliant with all contractual obligations throughout the process.
It should also be noted that you were NOT required to pay upfront for our closing services -- we offer several different service plans, including the option to use Escrow via our Afterpay Plan. You actively chose not to utilize the Escrow option offered to you and instead elected to go with the Advancepay plan.
Your account timeline was directly impacted by your refusal to provide required documentation, your rejection of negotiated closing terms, and your lack of participation in counteroffer discussions. These actions materially delayed the process and are clearly addressed within your agreement under the requirements expected of clients.
Despite these factors, our team successfully negotiated a deed in lieu closing at no additional cost, which results in the termination of your ownership. A formal cancellation notice has been issued by your resort or is currently in transit.
We also have no documented record of any refund request from 30-days ago that was submitted through our official communication channels prior to this review. This includes no recent calls or emails from you as you incorrectly stated. Furthermore, your agreement requires that disputes be addressed directly with our company before public escalation, which you made no attempts to do.
We strongly encourage you to contact our office immediately so we can formally review your account status. Clarity Closings reserves the right to address and respond to any false or defamatory claims as necessary. We remain available to discuss your account and ensure you have full understanding on your closing status.

After inheriting two timeshares from my parents, I found myself in a difficult position. Due to personal hardships, I was never able to use them, yet the maintenance fees continued to pile up. I quickly discovered that selling them—or even giving them back to Holiday Inn Club—was nearly impossible. I even spent thousands on a "timeshare exit" company that only managed to get rid of one.
After five years of frustration, I finally found Matthew Maglinger with Clarity Closing. It was a complete blessing. Matthew was incredibly accessible, answering every call and providing monthly updates so I was never left wondering. As of this month, I am officially free of the remaining timeshare and all back maintenance fees. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

CC's representative handled our concern.
I felt I had a definite idea as to what was being offered by Clarity Closings. He also shared other options that were available. All the options were explained in detail, the criteria the resort would use to determined if we qualified. The financial responsibilities for going with a company such as CC and other than CC were clearly defined.
The rep had good listening skills, good communication skills, had patience and did not mind clarifying my questions. I never felt I was pushed into any decisions.
The best advise I received was to go back to the resort and clarify why we wanted to exit. When I called CC's rep back to let him know our decision he was genuinely happy we had taken his advise and that we would be able to resolve and transition out. That was the most important because he never pressured us to do a contract with CC. Thank you for your honesty.

Clarity Closing did it!!!!
Clarity Closing got our timeshare to close and we are not having to deal with the greedy timeshare people anymore! It took time but we are rid of the timeshare for good.

Everyone I worked with was great. Every timeshare situation is different. I still owed money on my timeshare, and they were able to get me out of it. It took about a year, so my advice is to be patient. Don't be afraid to ask questions or raise concerns; talk to Matt or Tommy. They’ll take care of you.

Clarity Closings has been wonderful
Clarity Closings has been wonderful. They truly care about you! The first thing that Dale told me was to call my timeshare company and see if they have a deed buy back program. I did and now I’m in process of “ getting rid” of my timeshare for a lot less money, thanks to the honesty of Clarity Closings, Dale and Matt. Don’t hesitate to call them!

I used Clarity Closings after being after being ripped off by another company that went bankrupt after they took my money.
Clarity Closing did their best to explain everything to me, and the process went mostly smoothly with only a few bumps. They were easy to contact when I had questions or concerns. I am now happy to say I am free from my timeshare.

Eating Crow
I’ll admit it: I am eating crow.
When I first approached Clarity Closings, my guard was up and my skepticism was sky-high. I worried the whole thing might be a scam, and I’m sure Matt and Tommy quickly realized they had one very nervous (and, yes, probably their toughest) client on their hands.
But they proved me wrong — completely.
Matt and Tommy were exceptionally patient, polished, and respectful. They answered every question, calmed every concern, and never once made me feel rushed or dismissed, even when my confidence in the process wavered. Had they refunded my money and sent me on my way, I wouldn’t have blamed them — but instead, they chose professionalism, kindness, and consistency.
I am genuinely grateful for their integrity and the clarity (pun intended!) they brought to the process.
Clarity Closings exceeded every expectation I had.
