ClearEstate’s handling of our estate was unprofessional from start to finish, and their latest mistake confirms just how unreliable they are.

When ClearEstate decided to terminate our relationship, I assumed — reasonably — that they would notify the court that they were no longer representing the estate. They did not. As a result, the court is still sending important documents and notices to ClearEstate instead of to us, the actual parties responsible for the file.

This is not a small oversight. It is a basic procedural step that any competent estate service should handle automatically, especially when they are the ones choosing to withdraw. Their failure to do so has caused unnecessary delays, confusion, and extra work for us at a time when the estate should have been wrapping up smoothly.

ClearEstate’s lack of follow‑through, poor communication, and repeated administrative errors make them a risky choice for anyone dealing with an estate. Families deserve professionalism and reliability — not to be left cleaning up avoidable mistakes.

Funny story after writting this review I contacted ClearEstate and the Invoice they sent us was FOR ANOTHER client so all this trouble for nothing. It was ANOTHER mistajke.

Very transparent process, well guided, good communication throughout. Everyone was very personable and knowledgeable.
Love the end product,that we have a vault with all our documents and that settlement process is available; plus for us the annual review is ideal as I forsee that things can change going forward and changes are very cost effective to implemment.
It would be good to prepare yourself and know that the process does require commitment on your part as well as some technological savy/familiarity to navigate the site, upload forms, etc.
Our wills were somewhat complicated, and they were very patient helping us arrive at estate documents that met our needs. The only downside was that I could not print all the documents to preview, and I wanted to be able to redline things for discussion, so it was a more tedious process as when revisions were returned, I had to reread the whole document again.
Overall, an excellent experience.

It was worry free, for the most part. Each step of the way I felt comfortable Clear Estate staff knew what they were doing and they provided clear guidance.
Clear Estate saved me valuable time by having answers so I did not have to use my valuable time researching. Why reinvent the wheel?
I would use Clear Estate again, and would highly recommend them.

The people that I worked with were very well versed in the intricacies of preparing for probate and guiding me through the process. At times I was tired of the edits but now we have everything done and are awaiting the final outcome of tge probate process. I better understand the need for details to be perfect. My only note was a delay in the final review of the documents for submission. Jessie and her team did a good job!

In March, 2024, my nephew passed away without leaving a will. Being his only remaining relative it became my duty give him a respectable send off and handle the details of his estate. The estate had to go to probate. I had no idea where to start. Fortunately, my wife found ClearEstate and they guided me through the process. They were very professional and guided us step by step through the various stages which took over two years. The different people we worked with at ClearEstate were very understanding and compassionate. I often became frustrated with the different steps but ClearEstate were patient and kind, taking the time to explain in detail what was required of me. They provided a service which made a difficult time in our life more manageable.

Really good experience. They put up with a lot of my emotional delays. Walked me through each process when I struggled. Appreciate them very much.

I've been working with ClearEstate for some time now. Since the beginning, everyone I've worked with has been professional, thorough, very knowledgeable and helpful.
I more recently have been working with Tatiana Milad. She's responds to any of my questions in a timely manner and of course has been very knowledgeable with the estate settlement process. I would recommend using ClearEstate to anyone. Being an executor of a will can be overwhelming, ClearEstate has made things way less stressful. Thanks again ClearEstate!!

I received phenomenal assistance throughout the probate process from Clear Estate's Tatiana Milad. Throughout the numerous process, Tatiana Milad was very responsive in answering my numerous questions and requests for guidance. Tatiana Milad and the team she led kept me informed and notified of actions that I needed to take to prepare for court dates. Tatiana ensured that I received prepared Superior Court of California forms required for court hearings with enough lead time for me to obtain the necessary signatures and/or documentation required for the hearing. Throughout the many steps of the probate process, Tatiana tracked and sent reminders on actions I needed to perform as estate administrator. I think Tatiana did an outstanding job. I truly appreciated her knowledge of the probate process and her superb administrative skills.

I hired them in 2023 to deal with my husbands estate (separated). Their "steps" remained locked throughout with wrong court documents continuing to be "in process". It took 4 court hearings being denied due to "incorrect" paperwork-supplied by them. Then ClearEstate discharged us due to unknown reasons and expects to retain the full payment. I would have gone with a real lawyer to deal with it, but due to the value of the estate being in question, no lawyer would touch it (not worth their time). This company by no means makes it any easier than doing it yourself, as you do all the work, then they charge you thousands of dollars for you to do everything for them only to be dumped. The response is laughable. They offered me 30% of my $9660.85 back after the only thing completed was the assignment as myself as executor. I sent them copies of everything prior to filing and they have openly admitted there was a glitch that caused my steps to be unavailable. I was very upfront before signing with them that the estate was most likely insolvent-the whole reason an actual Lawyer would not get involved. If I had been honest with potential lawyers about the state of the estate, why would I not be upfront with them? This company simply wants their cut and does not care if it comes from a valuable estate or an insolvent one-it's all about the money.
In response: no, they do not take a percentage, they take a lump sum, which in my case is well over the 4% had a lawyer done it. More like 50% to 9000% being as they value property at in deficit and charged over 9k. Lack of attention showing in response...

I was assigned with Jessie and I had the best and easiest experience. She answered and explained all my questions and was very clear on what I needed to do on my end. She was always available to me and that made this whole experience much easier. ClearEstate is totally worth it knowing you have backup on the details and delivery. She did her part and I am doing mine! Thanks Jessie!

Tatiana has been incredibly informative and knowledgeable with this process. In addition, she was very polite and patient with me as I was often very busy and late in replying. I will always be grateful for her help in this very confusing process.

Personal attention from Tatiana: I received prompts when I bogged down. Fast turnaround for all my inquiries, including checking with other parties on my behalf for guidance. Proactive for next steps forward.

Stephen was very helpful and gave me a clearer understanding of the whole process and how to get started. It didn’t feel like I was talking to a salesperson trying to make a sale, instead the conversation was genuinely informative.

The attorney very prepared for our questions. Explained in easy to understand dialogue what we should expect and what to do in this closer to my mothers documents and contacts we needed to make going forward. We so appreciated his input
