Very smooth, excellent service

It was fast but I very surprised how expensive it was. I thought it would be cheaper but I think it was the duties that surprised me?

Disappointed I didn't know the total cost until I was charged.

Great experience using Clearit. First time bring car in from USA and process was easy and simple with help of Tyler From Clearit. All communication was by online chat and instructions were very easy to follow. Breezed through customers in minutes. Will use them again and again.

The agents are very helpful and guide you until the transactions was done.

I was nervous at first about trusting a website. But after waiting for a callback from my traditional broker, and needing action, I gave it a try.

The fee structure is transparent and fair, the instructions are clear, the ‘live agent chat’ is truly helpful, and the best part - even though I didn’t have all the information available to fill the forms completely, I was able to start the new file. Once the process was started, the folks at Clearit actually reviewed the shippers information and finished filling out the paperwork for me!

Throughout the process there are email update notifications, which gives confidence. By the time I got around to logging in to my new account to check on the status of my shipment, my paperwork was done, my shipment was already across the border, and was on its way for delivery to one of my retail locations.

Regarding Clearit customs brokerage services - I am now a believer.

I had a problem and found that there was no contact # to talk to a live person. there seemed to be a hold up at the border nd that was causing extra charges to me for storage.
it did get resolved.

They have been top notch except for 1 time they moved a decimal place to the right on my invoice and had charged me on my credit card 10X what it should’ve been. I wouldn’t even mention this and this was fixed in a timely manner, but no one apologized and that is my complaint. Mistakes happen but would it KILL someone to at LEAST APOLOGIZE for a mistake?

The website is easy to use and the agents you interact with on chat do a great job of guiding you through the process. They respond quickly to questions and let you know once everything has been submitted. We've done a few ocean shipments with them and all have been fine. The only improvement I could suggest is that the website take into account newer electronic systems for document exchange. In particular, the arrival notice now seems to be visible to Clearit through a back channel while meantime the user interface says there's a document missing. That is a very minor point though and overall Clearit has been a joy to use, if you can ever call customs clearance joyful.

I sent a few emails and never got a reply. It took Fedex to reach out to you directly on my behalf to get this rolling.

Easy process and follow up, never a snag on your end

The clearance went blazing fast - I have uploaded a couple of docs to the website and provided the contact of Clearit to the shipper. They managed to exchange other documents without my intervention. Zero hassle.

Advising everyone to use anyone else that is available it will be better in the long run
