We had three closets installed and they all are perfect. Tori was our installer and she did an excellent job. She was very professional, on time, very precise about the instillation. I will request her for our next job. Well done!!!

We had a wonderful experience with Closet Factory out of Jacksonville. Sierra Flores walked us through the design process and Mauro installed the product. We put in closet systems into our primary bedroom as well as 3 other bedrooms, a coat closet and a linen closet. The closet systems are beautiful and I couldn’t be more thrilled with them! Mauro did a superb job with the installation and was also prompt and professional! We highly recommend Closet Factory. We did our purchase through Costco so will now have a rebate check through them also, making it the best deal we could find.

This was truly the worst company we have ever dealt with. Only good thing was the salesman who tried his hardest to make things right. Unfortunately the product itself is so inferior I am surprised they are in business as long as they are. The price is so ridiculous for the quality of the materials used. The manager Debbie who only wanted to please us after everything was wrong had the audacity to all of a sudden not be available to talk.
Highly suggest you use a different company because we would never recommend this company.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Closet Factory Tampa. I initially received a detailed quote for a Murphy bed at $2,200. However, when I reached out to move forward and sign the paperwork, the price mysteriously jumped to $3,970—almost double the original quote—without any explanation.

It was only after I questioned the discrepancy that I was told the initial quote was “not written correctly.” This kind of bait-and-switch pricing is completely unacceptable. Even worse, when I requested a call from a manager to discuss the issue, not one person followed up. I’ve sent emails and have yet to receive any response.

This level of unprofessionalism and lack of accountability is shocking. If this is how Closet Factory Tampa treats potential customers, I can only imagine how they handle actual projects. I would strongly caution anyone considering working with them—there are plenty of other companies out there that will treat you with honesty and respect.

Lori Feldman is truly the best. She came to our home asked questions then had us come to the showroom and showed us the design. It was sooo easy. The installers that came did an amazing g job. Very nice, went over everything with us. We highly recommend Lori and her crew. Such an amazing experience.

I have never done a custom closet before, but my experience was top notch and professional from beginning to end. The designer Jen was amazing and really listened to what our current and future needs for my daughter was.The standard quality of the products and the pricing is abive competitors and the turn around time for install was so quick. I try not to make decisions based on price but the quality and price were both better! Our installer Randy was the best, he was prompt, friendly, professional, and walked us through how it all worked and could be adjusted etc! This has been the best overall service we have received for home projects in a long time!! Great job to the whole Closet Factory team, I am already planning my next closet !!

Everyone from designer to installers Chris and Kasey were very professional in what they do. Installation was spot on time and neat and clean. Pantry turned out great and the main closet also great. Highly recommended the closet factory!!

A Nightmare Experience with Closet Factory – Unprofessional, Incompetent, and Costly

I cannot express how disappointed and frustrated I am with my experience with Closet Factory. What was supposed to be a straightforward project to replace my walk-in closet turned into a two-month-long nightmare filled with incompetence, poor communication, and unnecessary damage to my home.

I signed a contract with Closet Factory two months ago, and from the very beginning, things went downhill. The demolition of my old closet took several days for a small space, and the crew failed to complete the template as promised. I was told another team would come to do the template, but no one showed up, despite waiting the entire day. This was a clear breach of the agreement I had with Raul, the manager (who has since quit), who assured me the template would be done before I left town and materials would be ready for installation. Instead, nothing was prepared for over a month—not even the template.

The customer service manager, Pearl, was impossible to reach. She never returned my calls and was always "in a meeting" or "out of the office." When the installation finally began 6-7 weeks later, it was a disaster. The installers discovered the dimensions were wrong, and the design was flawed. The designer, Marjan (or Marj), was utterly incompetent. She came to my home at least six times to take measurements and correct the design, yet every time the installation crew tried to proceed, they ran into issues. Marjan was consistently unavailable to address concerns, always texting that she couldn’t talk and directing me to the production manager, Ismael, who was rude and condescending.

The installation process dragged on for another two weeks, and during this time, the crew damaged my living room ceiling and the frame of an imported custom door. The ceiling now needs to be repainted entirely because the damage cannot be color-matched. After the crew left, I discovered more problems: loose panels and shelves, cracked cedar backing, and misaligned panels.

I contacted Jabrina, a customer service representative, and sent her pictures of the damages and flaws. She told me it would take 6-8 business days to review the issues. A week later, after sending two follow-up emails, I still haven’t received a response.

As a result, I now have to hire another closet company to fix the problems, a painting company to repair the ceiling, and a door company to fix the damaged frame. I’ve been without a closet for two months, with my clothes and belongings scattered across the floor and furniture.

Closet Factory does not respect your time or schedule. They expect you to adjust your life to their delays and mishaps. If you’re unavailable on their chosen day, they’ll push you back another week or two. I lost nearly three weeks of my time dealing with this project.

This company is unprofessional, unreliable, and clearly does not care about its customers. Save yourself the headache and avoid Closet Factory at all costs. There are plenty of other competent companies out there that will actually deliver on their promises.

Our designer Patrick came up with a great design to utilize all available space in our two small closets. The installers were prompt, professional and efficient in cleaning up after installation. I would definitely recommend Closet Factory.

From estimate to finished product, we couldn't be more pleased! Our designer, Larra, was quick to respond to our questions and worked hard to put together a deal. Our laundry room cabinets were expertly installed on exactly the day we requested by Chris and Jon of Closet Factory Ft. Myers. They were true gentlemen and wonderful craftsmen, explaining every facet of a difficult (at times) installation. The next time we need cabinet work, I will call Closet Factory right away and look no further. Great job, everyone!

Wonderful company to work with. Designer, office staff, and installers were knowledgable and competent. On time appointments and excellent clean up upon finishing. We are very pleased with the end result!

Jon and Chris were wonderful. They did a great job installing our pantry and closet design. They cleaned up beautifully afterwords. They were personable and took the time to answer our questions and explained all the various ways they things could be adjusted. .

Put down a $25,000 deposit on a custom closet. In November, got an email that the Houston Closet Factory was "reopening under new management." Called them and they refused to refund my money or complete the job. No, "we'd like to help" no, "we're sorry." New owner was completely dismissive. Avoid them at all cost!!

Kristen Lorden was FANTASTIC!! She was extremely helpful and patient with us when I was trying to envision our space. I had a general idea of what I wanted and she made it come to life. She had some excellent recommendations which really made a difference. Loved her energy, positivity and knowledge. She kept me well informed a long the way. We ended up doing a total of 3 different projects with her and couldn't be happier. Hands down the best!

Sylvia, the sales lady, was professional, friendly, & efficient. We discussed my needs, she designed it, and scheduled my installation promptly especially since I was traveling.
Trevor, the installer, also polite & friendly came on time, worked diligently. My new "hollywood closet" is fantastic.

My journey began with Rose, Lauren and Amber. Between the three of them, I received amazing help in creating and executing the vision for transforming my apartment. The implementation piece initially began with Jeremiah and the last 3 visits with Frank.
I ordered an elaborate array of bookshelves as well as a Murphy bed unit which helped me save space in my apartment. It also gives a unified, impressive look to my place. These next statements apply to Jeremiah and Frank but should display a certain bias towards Frank because I saw him more than anyone in the process. The meticulous determination and the creativity needed to solve all issues presented during construction was amazing to witness. The precise measurements for this custom made project were all on the money! Frank also went “above and beyond” by coming to my place to retrieve some pieces that were no longer necessary.
I wish I could sing the praises for all involved louder and longer but all good things must come to an end. What I hope you see here is a heart-felt, sincere appreciation for a job well done. Thank you Closet Factory (Frank, Jeremiah, Rose, Lauren and last but not least, Amber)!!!

Extremely disappointing experience. Poor communication, install a disaster and the company takes no responsibility.

This is more of a warning than a review. I was a designer there for 27 years. I have had the owners change 4 times. The newest 5th owners took over in July. Within 2 months, 15 employees walked out, and many seasoned designers have left as well. If you are a Costco member, be careful as their relationship with the new owners is shaky. Deposits aren't being taken and jobs delayed. Materials aren't being ordered and installs are being pushed out. They have temporary help from other franchises, but they won't be there much longer. The website says they offer financing, but the new owners stopped that program.

I am now at a closet company that offers the same lifetime transferrable warranty, floor-based system, and far more colors. They also have an 18-month financing program. When designers leave, it is customary for the owner to pay the designer the commissions earned on jobs not yet installed. I am still owed over 4K in commissions that I will probably never see. That same lack of integrity will be experienced as a client.
