excellent and informed service
I was originally prepared to tell the compare person I didn’t need their assistance and would apply online when I had time, however they were so kind and helpful and made it easy for me to understand that I went ahead and asked them to lock in a new nbn plan for me. Awesome service.

Sorry i should remember name of gentleman supporting me, but he was marvellous. Very informative, very supportive as I am older and slower with IT then the younger generation. Nothing was a problem and he kindly assisted me.

Sales rep lies just to close the deal
The sales agents will do anything just to close the sale even if it includes lying.
The guy named jack, lied about the installation date, because of that I had to move my move-in date 1 week ahead.
I took time off from work and now they are telling me that they need to move it 1 week ahead again.
The whole value add of this business is to make the connection smooth but once they close the deal they say we cant do anything.
Before placing the order Jack told me if you have any hickups call us we will sort that out for you and then he went missing.

Nadya was informative and patient as she explored our situation and current provider's billing arrangements. She found such a good solution for our household that I was truly amazed (and horrified by what I'd been paying a company I wasn't happy with). Do not trust information given
I changed my electricity bill. The one important aspect I told Compare Broadband was that I wanted quarterly billing......guess what I was put on to a monthly billing plan. DO NOT TRUST THEM.

I'm really sorry to hear about your experience, especially since you were very explicit about the quarterly billing requirement. The error occurred because our sales agent didn't know the customer must request quarterly billing after account setup. We currently can't do this during the order process but are following this up with Alinta to improve the customer experience moving forward. Unfortunately you will need to call Alinta and request quarterly billing. We apologise for the inconvenience.

Tim was incredible, so knowledgeable, understanding, friendly and professional that I smiled all the way and thoroughly enjoyed what is usually an overwhelming experience. I intended it to be a research call yet Compare Broadbands immediate and comprehensive access to information combined with Tim's exemplary customer service was so great, I signed up for new Broadband AND Electricity providers at huge savings all on the one phone call.
