Chelsea from Complete Physio in South Kensington was fantastic during my recovery journey.

I had ruptured my Achilles and was going through the post-op recovery process.

With her guidance throughout the past year, I was able to get back to the level of activity I was doing pre-injury, and was able to achieve the recovery milestones much quicker than the average population. I was able to achieve a single-leg calf raise at ~11 weeks post-op, and I was back doing running drills at 5 months post-op.

She was very understanding and reassuring, especially during times where I was concerned or had issues with my Achilles along the way. I definitely wouldn’t have been able to recover as well if not for Chelsea.

I have used complete physio over the last 10 years for various sports related injuries.Treatment has included ultrasound guided injections for shoulder and elbow,shockwave treatment and exercise regime for achilles. I have no hesitation in recommending complete physio and their physiotherapists.

Clear diagnosis accompanied with a lot of useful explanation as well as an effective treatment. After only 2 day, my neck is feeling significantly more mobile and a greatly increased range of movement without any pain. Thank you!

Wasted £935 and the doctor lacked the proper deep-spine training
​It has now been exactly 14 days (two weeks) since my procedure at this clinic, and I have had zero results. Absolutely zero pain relief, and zero local anesthetic numbness.
​I paid £935 for a deep transforaminal epidural steroid injection for an L5/S1 bulging disc. The MSK doctor performed the procedure using an Ultrasound machine, explicitly telling me that ultrasound is "just as good as an X-ray" and that "it's all about technique." This is completely false. Ultrasound waves cannot see through dense pelvic bone, meaning the doctor could only do a blind, shallow injection into the muscle outside the bone, hoping the fluid would miraculously spread to the nerve.
​I have since been referred to an actual hospital Pain Management Consultant. When this specialist looked at my paperwork from this clinic, they were appalled. They confirmed that deep transforaminal spinal injections MUST be done in a sterile theatre using live X-ray (Fluoroscopy) with contrast dye to safely navigate past the bone.
​What is truly shocking is discovering how an MSK doctor is even allowed to perform deep spinal injections in the first place. In a standard hospital setting, they are not licensed or permitted to do so. They are exploiting a loophole in private medicine. In their primary medical education, MSK doctors are trained strictly to perform shallow injections (like joints and muscles). They are using this basic shallow training to justify attempting deep spinal injections on human lives—complex interventions that they were never formally trained to perform on the central nervous system.
​It is unforgivable to risk a patient's health and take their hard-earned money by performing a procedure you are neither fundamentally trained nor equipped to do.
​If you have a herniated disc or severe sciatica, do not waste your money here. Bypass the MSK doctors and go straight to a hospital Pain Management Consultant or Spinal Surgeon who actually has the proper training and X-ray equipment.

Prior to treatment, I attended the clinic seeking help for a neck injury. I explained to him
all my symptoms and instead of sending me to do an MRI, he decided a course of
treatment, consisting massaging my neck and shoulder 3 times for almost an hour and he gave me wrong exercises to do at home.He should have known that if someone has an injury should never touch the specific area will make it worst. The care I received was
inappropriate, negligent, and has resulted in serious physical harm and a major
deterioration in my quality of my life.
As a result of this treatment, I have experienced:
Severe pain and ongoing physical limitations, neck spasms, loss of mobility and function
Emotional distress and impact on mental wellbeing
Financial loss and as a consequence my quality of life has been affected really bad.
Ongoing medical treatment and additional healthcare costs
This experience has had a profound impact on my life, and I believe the treatment I
received fell below an acceptable professional standard.
He didn’t know at all what he was doing and just to make money.

I’m really pleased with the treatment and my knee is hugely better following the steroid injection. Luke was very thorough and explained everything fully, making sure I understood what he was doing at every stage. Highly recommended.

Complete Physio is the real deal.

I went to the practice in February 2026 with what I thought was a strained groin muscle. Work with another physio had not helped, nor had ultrasounds and a CT scan. Louise Aylwyn suspected it might be a hip problem, and new imaging showed she was right. She prescribed exercises before and after a very successful hip operation in March, and was encouraging and supportive throughout. I wholeheartedly recommend Complete Physio for its professional and personal standard of care.
