They have scammed me! They told me the car part was compatible with my car after it arrived i told them this was the wrong part! Jimmy was so rude he refused a refund and said keep the part even though it’s not compatible and we will refund you 20%! When i refused he became rude and said we have a 30% restocking fee and it would take a very long time to refund me! In other words refused to give me my money back or take the item! These recent reviews seem fake as they DO NOT REFUND!!! I have had to involve authorities as I want my money back! Avoid!!!

No wonder they have not claimed their trustpilot profile as they don't want to deal with the bad reviews they're receiving! I ordered a grille for my Mercedes E Class. I needed it urgently so I ordered via this company as they had fast delivery times with 6 days being the longest. It took over 2 weeks for the part to arrive and I wish I had looked at these reviews before purchasing as it did come from China hence it took so long to arrive and the tracking link provided by Component Authority took me to a Chinese site which isn't very helpful considering I can't read Chinese! To make it worse a small part of the grille was snapped upon arrival but thankfully I've managed to fix myself as I couldn't wait for another part to arrive. The only reason I am giving it two stars is because the part is correct even though it was partly broken and when I did query the long delivery time Jimmy did get back to me although the answer he provided was rubbish that different parts take longer to come but this should be specified on the site (and they should be honest that the reason it takes long to come is because it's being shipped from China and not within the UK).

After ordering the wrong components, wrong year, my fault. I contacted Componentauthority, who not only offered me a full refund, but also said I could keep the parts,incase I could make use of them in future. I would have no hesitation in recomending this company or using them in future

Ordered some Motorhome steps on 21st October and did not have a delivery date. Looked online at reviews and was really worried as they were not good. Didn't need to worry they arrived today 31st October and are excellent and well made

You scammed me out of my money are rude told me to claim my money back from the delivery company you never sent either of the 2 packages that got lost and now won’t refund worst company I’ve ever had to deal with dirty vile people and jimmy needs sacking rude arrogant excuse of a human

Ordered a front grill for a Suzuki Jimmy for £94. They sent a badge and not the grill as described. The grill arrived at a later date broken. I requested a return for a refund and the request was refused. Only a 10% (under £10) discount was offered for me to have the part repaired and resprayed. This would cost more that the part was worth. PayPal can now sort this mess out, but do not buy from them.

I ordered a centre rack for my Honda Super Cub on 14 Oct. The item supposedly entered into the Royal Mail track and trace system on 16th, claiming 48hr service and 1 - 3 days delivery time, depending on workload etc. As I hadn't seen any update on the track and trace, I emailed Component Authority (CA) for an update. I was advised to wait another 2 - 5 days for the item to arrive. I decided to do a search on CA, and realised that I'm unlikely to receive my rack or indeed my money. If I can save someone else from wasting their time and money, then my review has not been futile. Please shop with a reputable company rather than at CA.

Item finally arrived on 23rd October. Very poor quality product (sharp edges, dubious powder coating). Refund/return instructions requested.

It should also be noted, that CA asked me to review the product/service. Unfortunately, it would appear that they don't share 1 star reviews 😕

Stay away purchased a handbrake motor failed after 2 months

We have supplied videos and images of the issues to them. Sadly have passed to Mastercard to deal with as they clearly do not wish to honour warranty.

I read the previous reviews after paying for my order, so naturally I was a little concerned. However, I needn't have been. My order arrived on time by trackable courier and was well packaged. I ordered the stator, reg/rec and gasket kit for my 2010 ZX6R. Just finished fitting it all and was as I hoped, fitted perfectly and exactly as I ordered. At only £57 including delivery, absolute bargain, saved me hundreds on oe parts. Obviously I don't know how long they'll last, but even if it's only 12 months, it'll still be worth it (although I hope it'll last longer than that). I can only comment on my experience, but I will definitely use this company again. Thanks, Mark, Leicester, UK.

SCAM SCAM SCAM, do not use this company you will loose your money, website all very professional but dont be fooled. I ordered a electric start for a Honda engine as this website claims to have guaranteed fitment and 24h helpline neither is true the item was over double the price of one from China so you can understand my disappointment when my item was now coming direct from China, cancelled straight away for a refund but “Jimmy” left it a couple of days before responding, when he responded he gave me a sob story of how business was hard and they would be left out of pocket offered me 10% money back to keep it as a spare arrived damaged and it was the wrong part Jimmy has gone quiet and the number on the returns page a lady answered and denied all knowledge absolutely disgusting. I’m going to do my best to get this website shut down. Happy to forward emails from Jimmy to anyone who wants them

Tried to return the part inside 30 days. They asked me to keep it ‘for a spare’ (it won’t ever fit my car of course).
Then suggested they’d refund 30% or something like that. Nope!
Then said they’d refund the money if I put a good review on the website! No chance!
Then agreed to refund so I packed it and posted it but it was returned as ‘refused’.
I got the sob story about the company not doing well too.
Can’t think why!
Currently handing it over to my Solicitor despite it only being £50. Principles people!

Bought a strimmer head for a Stihl strimmer. The head vibrated so badly it was a health hazard to the operator. After a lot of discussion I eventually got my money back minus return postage, which was illegal. Went out and bought a genuine Stihl replacement which solved the problem. Not a firm I would willingly do business with in future.

Ordered a part which had to be returned, after emailing 'jimmy' to inform of a return i got a sob story about how it would affect the business and how they are struggling etc etc.

Advised that charging 30% 'repacking fee' is not legal and that I would take legal action as well as contact trading standards if he tries to do this. Soon folded and accepted the return without the 30% fee.

Took 10 working days and numerous follow up emails to get my refund, strongly avoid this company. I have contacted trading standards so hopefully they will do something.

Charging a repackaging fee is not legal, it took me some time to find this information on the internet but I can promise it is not a normal practice. So do not stand for it if you are told this from ComponentAuthority.

I purchased an item 8 days ago and tracking claims it is still not ready for delivery..... The worst problem is my car is stranded and waiting for the items! I do not understand why the supplier fails to provide an expected delivery date, which should have alerted me to an issues with the source of supply, hence the stock is not held at hand!

I ordered an item from them, which listed my motorbike model among compatible ones but turned out not to be.
I reached out and asked to return the item.
Customer service contended it was my fault for making the order and offered, reluctantly a 20% refund for keeping the item.
I insisted on shipping the item back for a full refund.
They offered 70% minus shipping costs. 30% they claimed was for repackaging.
The item arrived in a paper bag, no tag or packaging whatsoever.
I call this fraud.
Businesses like this deserve to go under.

Same problem about they didn't refund the money when you sent it back don't order from them

I made a mistake when measuring the length of cable required so notified them and shipped it back within 7 days of receiving the item,
They have charged me a 30% restocking charge which is illegal in the U.K. for online purchases that are returned in 14 days according to the Government Website detailing online transactions.
I have informed them that their business practice is illegal but they totally ignore this point and are refusing to give me a full refund.
Only purchase from this company if you are 100% certain that the item you are buying meets your requirements.
