Connevans; Designing, Manufacturing and Supplying Equipment for Deaf and Hard of Hearing People in Education, Employment, the Home & Leisure, as well as much much more! As an extension to our product range, we also supply a wide selection of Daily Living Aids, many of which are manufactured in the UK. The name Connevans is derived from its founders Connie and Meurig Evans who started the company in 1961. Today Connevans is run by their son David and granddaughter Laura. There are a number of other family connections within the company, such as a Mother & Daughter and a God-father & God-daughter and we have to mention the occasional 'office dogs' like Pixel & Tara! With Connevans it is not just business, it's family, just one of the many reasons why we pride ourselves on a very high level of customer service. We are delighted with the kind comments we receive on Trustpilot and if a member of our staff is mentioned by name, we always tell them and thank them.

Helpful service, nice phone
Helpful and speedy reply regarding future-proofing capability of the phone before buying it.
The BigTel 1500 Phone itself is good, clear sound and the ‘speaker’ mode is fine with hearing aids. The inductive loop facility is fairly poor though.

The magnetic field for loop connection in a cordless phone is likely to have less strength than a mains connected phone, but you might find a modest improvement by moving the phone around a little when your hearing aids are switched to the 'T' setting.
It it isn't suitable, we do have other phones and we have a 30 days returns policy.

I was having a job getting mic filters…
I was having a job getting mic filters for my hearing aid but I was lucky to find Connevans had want I wanted. Delivered on time and they fit so all is good.

I wanted to buy something
I wanted to buy something. I saw they had it. I called them, they confirmed the had it. I ordered it online and went and picked it up the next day. They were polite and friendly in the warehouse.
