Conservatory Insulation Southwest Reviews

I couldn't rate this company highly enough. The initial visit was Rob and he was very friendly and informative, no pushy sales nonsense. The installation went ahead without a hitch and the installers were all nice lads.

The only tiny snag we had was that a leak reappeared about a month after the installation. Due to the persistent hot weather we had no idea until a random day of heavy rain, and it came through at quite a rate. We contacted them for advice and they sent out the installers the next day to investigate. It turns out the caps between the conservatory roof glass were not installed correctly but this was the fault of the previous company who installed the conservatory, something I suspected during a previous leak incident but I was told it was "condensation". I bring this up because the guys were kind enough to fix the problem by securing and bonding new caps along the whole roof at no expense...even though it was not their responsibility to fix it. This saved us a great deal of stress and potential difficulty in getting any other tradesman to fix, likely at significant cost.

The conservatory is so much better now, the heat in the hot weather has at least halved and we look forward to be able to use it in the summer.

Thanks to the whole team at Devon and Cornwall Conservatory Roof Insulation, they're an example of what a business should strive to be.

Brilliant family company who not only did job but went above and beyond to be helpful and supportive.
I would recommend to (already have done this and received a referral fee)

Top marks for a pleasant, no pressured competative quote; with no payment until completely happy with the finished job (we had six firms to quote). Great guys - courteous, considerate, tidy and willing to listen to customer's concerns or requests. We did have a slight hiccup with installation but Sam immediately made us aware of it and worked with us to resolve it - which is the true test of a good firm! Very happy with the finish. The conservatory now copes well with the hot summer temperatures, making it a pleasant usable room without the previous glare. We look forward to equally good results in the winter months. 😀

I am very happy with my conservatory roof I am now able to sit in it and enjoy. The quality is excellent and so was the workmanship two very pleasant and friendly young men that did the job. Overall I am very happy.

I am very pleased with the overall service provided by Devon and Cornwall Conservatory Roof Insulation. They are fairly local to me and I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly they were able to carry out the work after I had accepted their quote. It was all done in one day and the contractors were very efficient, and helpful and left the premises clean and tidy. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking to upgrade their conservatory roof.

They were very professional from the initial meeting through to fitting and cleaning up afterwards.

Great surface, excellent quality at a good price

From initial contact to completion everything was dealt with in a timely fashion . All staff were pleasant and helpful at all times. It was a pleasure to have then working in my property and all I had to do after was run a duster around. Thanks again.

Had our conservatory & porch roof insulated yesterday & wow what a difference it has made already with keeping the heat in.
Doug gave us a good price & explained everything to us.
We cannot speak highly enough about this company. On arrival the fitters were very friendly, efficient, organised & very professional in their work.
When they had finished they cleaned up to a very high standard & moved all the furniture back into the Conservatory & also hung the blinds back up.
Their work was faultless & would definitely recommend them.

The Insulation was explained and demonstrated to me clearly.. any queries I had after the demonstration were handled clearly and well.
The fitting team were prompt to arrive, efficient and cleared up superbly.
I am very pleased with the result so far.
The whole team were pleasant to deal with, my thanks to you all.

Fitters were nice guys but it felt like a bit of a rushed job and we were advised several times how they were short on a person. One fitter had an injury aswell and the other was new to the role and although very keen had some questionable health and safety approaches to cutting materials leaning on his legs knealt up on the floor. The result was a bit chaotic and messy in places. We were told wood for a fan was in the middle of a beam but it wasnt- only found out after we drilled holes looking for it. Sealant was being smoothed with a licked finger...not very professional or hygienic. Ceiling sealant has lots of grit and black fluff inside it from the rush. We will probably redo it ourselves.

Arrived before time.
Very pleasant, polite young men who got on with the job.
Cleared up on completion

Well installed insulation --quick--tidy--& --easy office staff to deal with very efficient--no problems at all !

Good job done on time. The work was completed in a day and my conservatory was left clean and tidy. The fitters arrived at 08.45 worked right through the lunchtime and finished at 19.00hrs. Can't ask more than that.

The firm informed every step of the way any issues they where at the end of the phone at all times ,very friendly helpful .good at what they where doing ,nothing was too much trouble , I would definitely recommend this firm could not fault them ,it’s nice that this firm should get recognition for the excellent work .

The men arrived on time and immediately set to work. The job took two days to complete and the roof was ready to put the plastic covering up by the end of the first day. They even put in an electric cable ready to wire in lights. All rubbish was cleared from the site including the existing bits of conservatory that were no longer required. I could feel a difference in temperature before the job was completed. I highly recommend this company.

A truly professional job by two extremely competent people. It was a pleasure to have them both in our home.

Excellent service. fitters very professional & tidy.
