Everything from start to finish has been really positive. Having someone to talk to and ask questions when we needed to has been really helpful. Moving day itself was great. The guys arrived on time after a phone call the night before. Nothing was too much trouble and everything was handled with care and professionalism making the day go effortless. Thank you for making this experience much less stressful!

Very nice company and very nice staff

AVOID AVOID AVOID. This is the worst company ever we are considering taking legal action. We paid full price and they sent us a van half full of furniture, this meant we had to book another van in a panic the next day (obviosuly not with them again). Once the van arrived at our new house, the manager/owner George called my husband to say he was increasing the fee of £100 because we had paid the balance late, we literally paid online as they arrived at the house, he told the removal men not to unload until we paid the additional £100. Im not sure how businesses like this operate, George was so rude on the phone, I asked him to explain the £100 as i did not even realise this was a late payment fee until afterwards and he hung up on the phone. Im a solicitor and will be looking at taking them to small claims court. Awful business and awful treatment.

I should have known it wasn't going to go well when they did a survey of my property over WhatsApp rather than physically visit. I showed them everything I could and said we had started packing some stuff but would need them to pack the rest. I was told a partial pack was adequate rather than a full pack. I was expecting someone to come to start the packing a few days before the move but no, I was told it would all be done on the day! On the day of the move the first mover arrived, a Romanian who had a vague grasp of English. He had been due to arrive at 7:30am but didn't turn up until nearly 9 as he had to collect packing supplies first then travel 2 hours to get to us! His two Brazilian colleagues arrived in a separate van 30 minutes later - neither of them spoke more than a few words of English. They leisurely started packing boxes and it was clear that they would struggle to get everything done by the time we were due to leave at 2. Well they were still packing stuff in their vans at 3pm and I could tell it wasn't all going to fit. In any event there was a delay with the house we were moving to but we were still expected to vacate our house by 5pm. So they decide to put our stuff in storage until we could move in however, there was still at least a half van load still at the property and both their vans were full. They took their loaded vans and dumped what they had into storage and disappeared, leaving the rest behind. Luckily our buyers hadn't planned on moving in that day! When we completed 3 days later, having been staying in a hotel as most of our stuff was in storage but when the movers came back they wanted to get the storage stuff first rather than the stuff still at our old house, some of which had been left out in the rain. They did eventually agree to clear our house first so our buyers could move in but they literally piled all our stuff in the new property to the extent we could barely get round everywhere. Then when putting our bed back together they realised they had left part of it at the (now closed for the night) storage facility, meaning we had to sleep on the floor for the next two nights until they could come back, collect the parts and build the bed properly! So to sum up, they did an inadequate survey, sent an inadequate amount of staff and not enough/too small vehicles and took far too long. Oh and we have found damaged items which they have paid us the bare minimum for and there are still some items we have not found. AVOID AVOID AVOID!

I used this company in January 2024 to move from a 3 bedroom, 3 storey house to a small 1 bedroom flat in the same vicinity. I'm 76 years old and had no help moving on the day but I had already packed all that I could and labelled each box. When I booked I was told that they would send me some boxes for my kitchen bits, which didn't arrive, but I was assured that the men would help pack the remainder of the kitchen stuff that I had been using! The 2 foreign removal men turned up on time but they were loading boxes from upstairs and left me to pack downstairs, so I was not able to supervise them. I checked the house to make sure nothing had been left, then they left to drive to my flat, I told them I would follow in 10 minutes. However, when I arrived at the flat, they weren't there and turned up half an hour later! I assumed they had been taking a lunch break but they then told me that they were going to get some lunch! When they came back it had started raining which didn't help! It took a few hours to bring everything in and I was surrounded by boxes in all the rooms. As you can imagine it's very stressful moving on my own at my age, and it has taken a good few months for me to sort everything out! As requested by the company I did a review a few days after my move and gave them a good score. However I have now discovered that I am missing the following items! A small 2 step ladder, a brand new jumper which hadn't been worn and still had the tickets on and a plastic container which had all my ornaments and some photos which had been given to me over the years. They weren't expensive but they hold sentimental value for me and I'm devastated! Of course I can't prove that these things were taken by the removal men, but they are not to be found anywhere!!! So I'll leave you to draw your own conclusions!!!
Don't use this company, they aren't what they seem!!!

This company should be avoided at all costs!
I was impressed by the profile offered by the company so I paid my deposit and as moving day came, I was horrified to look out the window and see two poorly kept vans with 3 Romania gentlemen who were moving me that day. ( the job was subbed out! )
I had no choice but to go with them as I exchanged and completed on the same day. They Ruined my furniture with dents scratches all over my furniture.
I complained and they said sorry and that was it?
With so much going on with moving into our new home I felt I couldn’t pursue this matter and thinking of it now it fill me of that dreaded day! £1450.
When I asked the removal guys how much they were getting they said £300.
Be vey careful when picking your removal company and make it clear you want only what they advertise and will not accept sub contractors.

Good service, polite and efficient

No option to give zero stars. Could’ve done the move better myself for the £2000 paid.
Awful and stressful from start to finish.
Removal team arrived hours late meaning once they eventually loaded the vans we didn’t arrive at storage unit until after it was closed. Fortunately I was able to contact the storage unit to gain access out of hours at an extra cost to me.
I had booked for some items to be packed by the company but the removal team knew nothing about this and told me I had to pack these items and find boxes for them. I also had continental items which were clearly marked on the inventory that I saw thrown around and damaged. No respect for me or my belongings.
The team spoke very little English so communication was hard and I therefore had to speak with someone in the office who said they’d check in again later. The only check in I had later was to find out where my belongings were as I was waiting at the storage unit. There was no call back to check on anything else.
The team were arguing with each other in front of me and female member of the team even stopped working and got in the van whilst the men tried to figure out what to do.
One removal man attempted to buy my belongings from me from the beginning of the day, even leaving this item out until last ‘in case I changed my mind’.
Storage unit not packed effectively and items I was informed would be dismantled werent so took up more space. This meant I had to dispose of items which the removal men suggested I go with them to fly tip!!
One removal man touched my stomach and spoke about an unborn baby. I was not and am not pregnant.
All calls to company afterwards were either ignored or I was told I would get a call back from the right person. The call backs never happened.
My emailed formal complaint was completely ignored.
Cannot describe how horrific this experience was. I was left traumatised and put off ever using a removal company again.
When emptying my storage unit I found several damaged items that they did not inform me of. A vintage wine crate, bike helmet, the entire side of my solid oak dining table scratched beyond repair, the list goes on. Perhaps the most heartbreaking part of this is 2 items bought for me by my grandfather who died only a year before my move were missing after the move.

AVOID at all costs!

Had to change the move date a number of times due to issues with exchanging/completing and was never an issue.
Team were great, packed fine at our end. When we got to the new house the outgoing people hadn’t finished meaning we had to work round them. This made us take longer than planned and work late. The attitude of the team was great, didn’t moan at all, worked hard to get the job done and made a stressful day less so!

The office team and our moving team from Cornerstone were outstanding. Good communication. Showed up on time, were friendly, and did a great job of packing-up and unpacking us. They were also very patient and understanding as we waited for funds to cascade down the chain until very late in the day.

The service was great. The lads worked quickly and were great at checking what I wanted all day. Sorry the review is late- unboxing!

The experience was fantastic bar a few bumps and scratches. Old fridge hit wall and small piece came off, scratched the wooden floor with chair which I managed to hide but the worst was dropped glass shelf which chipped on end. The gang were friendly and worked hard. We may need to replace glass.

Contact with Cornerstone was a bit off a challenge in the days before I moved but appreciate the firm was busy. However waiting several calls to be put through and then cut off was a bit frustrating especially as I was anxious about the move and just wanted reassurance. Elizabeth apologised and to be fair had been very good up to this point. On the day the move team were on time efficient and courteous and did a great job. They waited patiently whilst we awaited completion and then for site rep to show me round new house. Cannot praise the team enough they were brilliant

Efficient and professional

I really appreciated the call today- when moving house there are obviously 1001 things to do, getting round to doing all of them is tricky.
We haven’t done the move yet but so far Cornerstone are efficient and really helpful. Their communication is clear and straightforward.

SCAM COMPANY! THEY ARE NOT MEMBERS OF THE BAR (British Association of Removers) STAY AWAY!
I was sold a scam, a "care package" and 50k insurance if any damage occurred. I needed to move a large Arcade Machine, the main reason I looked for a professional removal company. What turned up was 3 Eastern European guys in a van with no lifting equipment, the van didn't have a tail lift and they had no blankets to cover my furniture.

My arcade machine was dropped down the stairs and could have killed the guy underneath it. His arms were badly hurt and he was out of action all day.

Most of my walls have marks all over them, my kitchen floor was left with a hole in it. My new fridge freezer has damage marks, my dishwasher needed repairing and the items were literally dumped around the house (see photos) I paid for the dismantle and assemble service, but after the shambles my wardrobe was "assembled" in, and after being told it wasn't their skills it was my floorboards, I had enough and asked them to leave. I spent 2 full days fixing things that they left in their destructive path.
They drank bottles of energy drink and threw them on my home floor and left cigarette ends and lunch waste outside my front door.
I was forced to leave a good review immediately while they were lingering around me.
Jack the manager will sweet talk you that all will be repaired. Then you have to deal with the insurance team, well I was told she was the best Denisa is her name, so far after over 1 month, I have received 1 email stating she's looking into my claim and will be in touch. Well, that was 14 days ago now. Nothing. So I'm now warning anybody thinking of using this company to go with a BAR registered one and not this joke of a company. They also advertise they are members of the Safe Contractors Trade Association and they are not accredited with them yet and the association has requested for them to remove this from their website. I paid £1.5k thinking I was getting a professional company. This is FAR from that in all aspects.

31.08.2023 update, still nowhere near getting anything sorted. I requested a call last week Tuesday and today the following week Thursday I received an email, not a call as requested. Offering a couple of hundred pounds for an arcade machine worth 4.5k, which is another unprofessional blow from this joke of a company.
The reason for the long delay, that they are experiencing a high demand of claims currently, well NO SURPRISE THERE, if sending unprofessional people to do a professional job, you'll get damage of property and claims.

Easy video tour of house and convenient. Bianca was very pleasant to talk to.

Stellar admin team who can cope with uncertain moving dates and care about the details. I must also praise Claudio, Paulo and Frank, who were friendly, thoughtful and efficient. Their hard work made a last-minute-confirmed moving day very straightforward. Would recommend!
