I feel I was very mislead
I feel I was very mislead! I was told they would help with providing a new BER certificate for my house, no, was only told after work was done and paid for. Despite being told otherwise before the work was carried out. I was also told I should not apply for the grant...as this would mean the work would be of a lesser standard then the work they would do without the grant.
I feel absolutely no difference in the house at all. Overall very disappointing and expensive expensive with no real benefits

Hi Joanne. We can help with a BER certificate. We provide you with all of the paperwork for your BER but we do not pay for your BER.
We would not have told you that the work would be of a lesser standard because that is simply not the case. We would have given you a price to insulate to the standard depth and a price to insulate to the depth required for the grant.
It is surprising to hear that you do not feel any difference at all, from looking at your purchase order and photos you now have 3x the amount of insulation that you had originally. There may be another issue within the property other than the roof that is allowing heat to escape. We would be happy to come and do an inspection with thermal imaging equipment to pin point the cause of your heat loss.

I paid a deposit to have this work…but they would not refund it when I had reservations
I paid a deposit to have this work done in my house back in dec 2023. My house was built in 1798 and on checking the back of the purchase order form I could not see anywhere that it was a lifetime warranty per website but a 5 year guarantee in the tiny writing on the contract. When I contacted the company to cancel my order they would not refund my deposit.was afraid to put this into my attic.

Hi Ann. The 5 year warranty noted on our purchase order is a workmanship warranty (most companies offer none or 1 year at most). The product has a 25 year manufacturers warranty. This warranty comes directly from the manufacturer and is between the client and them. It would not be stipulated within our own terms and conditions as it is not us that provides it. This would have explained to you when you called to cancel. You have a 2 week cooling off period to cancel works and have your money paid back in full. You were outside of your two weeks and you cancelled leaving us unable to fill the slot in our diary. This is the reason that your deposit could not be returned.
Good communication
They kept in good contact and offered us a sooner appointment than planned.

I thought that I was getting insulation…
I thought that I was getting insulation as in the photo in the brochure but I now found on the document I signed that it was a rough finish.
Also I have been told that the attic should have some ventilation
So I'm getting some put in

Hi Richard. The photo in the brochure is of a new build property where the foam needed to be trimmed back to allow for plasterboard to be put on the underside of the rafter. The foam is only ever trimmed if it is going to be boarded over as the foam produces a protective skin. This must only be removed if it is going to be protected by boarding. It states on your purchase order that was signed by yourself that the foam would be left a "rough finish".
The idea of the open cell spray foam insulation is to create an unventilated attic space. Additional ventilation is not required so adding them in defeats the purpose of the air tight insulation.

Very impressed from start to finish with their work. The temperature in the house has changed dramatically for the better and the heat does not vanish in an hour like before!

Arrived at the date and time as agreed, only took a few hours to complete the job nice tidy work no mess whatsoever has made a difference to the heat in the house very happy with the work done and the staff were very helpful answering my questions would recommend cosy insulation
