Cotton On should change its name.

Cotton On should change its name to Polyester On. The quality of the clothes have fallen from grace. The company has lost its value and dignity. They are charging people sustainable prices for sweat shop products. Disgraceful behaviour. Capitalism rears its ugly head once again, it’s sad.

Ordered 2 hoodies and a tote bag for me and my daughter..week later one hoody and tote bag arrive and we email them n they say they refunded me because 1 hoody was out of stock! I don’t see a refund in my bank n I’m pissed cos now the sales ended n I got nothing.the item was in stock when we ordered! Just not good enough could have emailed n asked if I would like a different colour or whatever they do have in stock. Won’t be ordering from here ever again waste of time and money

I feel compelled to write this as a…

I feel compelled to write this as a warning to others. Don't order from this company. The product never arrives. I had a message from Evri saying they were waiting for it. That's where the tracking stopped. Contacted the company on a daily basis and all they told me was to wait. Then I received an email telling me to file a complaint with my delivery courier in Australia ( I'm in the UK, so have no idea who they use) they have taken my money and told me to disappear down a rabbit hole. Now I will be taking it up with my bank. This company should not be allowed to trade. Terrible company with no customer service.

Still waiting for my order after nearly 2 weeks with no help

Still waiting for my order after nearly two weeks – terrible customer service
I ordered the Bella straight leg pants on 2nd November, and it’s now been almost two weeks with no tracking information, no parcel, and no proper updates. I had to contact Cotton On myself just to find out what was going on, and was told the warehouse had been contacted because my order “can’t yet be tracked by Evri” which makes absolutely no sense.
The customer service has been shocking. I’ve paid a decent amount of money for these pants and have had zero communication unless I chase them first. For a first-time customer, this experience has been so disappointing that I genuinely regret ordering. I won’t be shopping with Cotton On again or recommending them to anyone.
To make matters worse, I received an email asking me to “rate my Bella pants while they’re still fresh in my mind”, except I still haven’t received them. It’s completely unacceptable.
Cotton On, please sort this out immediately, at this stage, I expect compensation for the delay, poor communication, and overall lack of care.

Had great experience

To be honest I was concerned after seeing a lot of negative reviews here, but this was the only place I could find this wrapping paper. However I was pleasantly surprised, it was dispatched that day and I received it 3 days later. It was exactly as pictured on the site.

Amazing service at Cotton On!

The customer service at the Rundle Mall store in Adelaide was outstanding! I had bought an outfit in another store and wanted a tshirt to wear under the shirt that had to be a particular green. I checked one I had seen online at another store in the mall only to find the colour was not right at all. I went to Cotton On and tried on one tshirt. I then asked the young woman at the fitting room if they had any other greens. She called another young woman with reddish hair to help me. Apparently they had a new shipment in that day and the tshirt she brought me was PERFECT. Right colour, right fit, beautifully soft, and only $20. THANK YOU, your service made my day. ♥️

I’m Trying to return the item…

I’m Trying to return the item unfortunately na manager was not really helpful and I really needed a cash immediately due to my work I need to get a live scan. The manager did not help me and stressed me a lots. I won’t buy the item again the customer service was very very poor. I really needed a money to get a live scan. Or else I’m going to lose my Job.

Terribly difficult to deal with

Ok they have cute cheap clothes. Love their little t-shirts. Paid with AfterPay online. Said returns taken in store. THEY WOULDNT TAKE IT, not for a refund, not for store credit. Snotty Asst Mgr said their system “was too old.” I picked up their tabletop sign that read, “Returns with no questions.” She began speaking Spanish to the other worker. About me. I snapped at her in Spanish, “I speak Spanish too, b*%?€!!”

She looked shocked. Still trying to return the clothes.

No Gift Card Redemption!!


Hi there, your Torquay store, whilst filled with lovely staff and lovely things, cannot redeem gift vouchers. Apparently it’s been an issue for some time. Not good enough. I’ve had to spend my money ($72.00) whilst my granddaughter had a number of valid cards from her birthday. Yes I could have told her to put things back but she was very excited about her birthday shopping spree and I didn’t think that was an option for me. So, I believe a refund of my dollars is a reasonable request. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Great Shopping Experience with Typo and Cotton On

The Cotton On Group has always been one of my favourite places to shop, and Typo in particular stands out. I love their unique products, creative designs, and the fun atmosphere in the store. Every visit feels exciting because there is always something new to discover, whether it is stationery, gifts, or home décor.

What makes the experience even better is the friendly service. The staff are approachable, welcoming, and always ready to help, which makes shopping at Typo a real pleasure. I appreciate how they go the extra mile to make customers feel comfortable and valued.

Overall, Cotton On and Typo are reliable, affordable, and always on-trend. I would happily recommend them to anyone looking for quality products with excellent service.

The worst !!

Yesterday, I went shopping at Cotton On in the Bridgewater Mall, and I have to be honest — the staff were very unfriendly. I tried to return a T-shirt, which initially was not allowed. After asking multiple times, it suddenly was accepted. Since I had paid for the shirt using Afterpay, their screen then said the return was not possible. I seriously don’t understand why this is the case. Why can stores like Macy’s or Bloomingdale’s handle returns differently? Why can’t you?

I have now read many online reviews reporting very poor customer service, and I can say I will definitely not be shopping here again. It was a very negative experience — the staff were clearly unwilling to help, and I even noticed smirks on their faces, as if they enjoyed refusing assistance.

Now I have to return the T-shirt online, and I see from other customers’ experiences that some people haven’t received their refunds even after a month. Let me be clear: if I do not get my refund, I will consider taking legal action. This is unacceptable.

I buy from Cotton On in New Zealand

I buy from Cotton On in New Zealand. I buy most of my women's panties from them. Their range of styles, colours and fabrics is amazing. Their customer service is excellent. They are not judgemental and assist me courteously when I require answers to my questions. Their web site has a "dimensions" tab which gives accurate measurements for each panty so customers do not have to guess whether the panties will fit or not. I find this feature extremely helpful. As a man who prefers women's panties, I need accurate measurements to find the correct fit. Their panties are very comfortable which is why I wear them. They last a very long time. All styles and fabrics last me a very long time. I will always make Cotton On my first choice for panties. Another thing is they are excellent value.

Misleading website

I was looking for cotton socks and found some on this site. Prompted to save 20% by signing up I received a discount code, which I was unable to use against the items I wanted to purchase. So I went ahead placed the order paid £4 for shipping of 2 very thin pairs of socks.

Sadly upon receipt the colour is peach not pink, so I initiated a return. Low and behold I have to ship back via Evri but I have to print a label. Who doesn't issue QR codes these days?

Hopefully I'm not going to have to pay the return cost too or these will be the most expensive socks I've ever bought!

Overall my experience has been disappointing and I will not be ordering again.

Brought two pairs of jeans online sizes…

Brought two pairs of jeans online sizes were size 10 for both, I checked out the size chart before I added to cart even done a size check elsewhere for second opinion and before adding to cart i made sure there was no other information on page for AU or UK sizes which gave no indication. Once delivered opened up package and was shocked to see both Jeans one size was bigger then the other and the other was smaller and both were supposed to be the same size and the material is so shyyt and made in Bangladesh. I would have approved of AUS or China, but no and my body is built of big bones not twigs. Never trust online purchases

Poor quality clothing

Poor quality clothing. I am chasing a refund for 2 tops, one with poor stitching which has unraveled and another who had a series of rips in the sleeve after 1 use.

Absolute joke of a business

Don’t order from Cotton On if you want to return items, to get in contact with them is incredibly difficult and then they just don’t contact you back when they say they will. Warehouse received my return over a month ago now, haven’t seen my refund.
