The customer service is extremely poor and I doubt there is any training. I purchased a few items from both County Road and Trenery which was a painful experience. I speak out against organized crime and European gangsters and find a few goods and services like to get me back for going to police. This place has organized crime coders (can smell them a mile away) and they did nothing to fix their blunders which were one after the other. The website was difficult to use and shut me out of my own profile account. It took a long time to make an order. Then I got a notification that it had been delivered when it hadn't and was a huge rigmarole to locate it . They claimed there was no address but there was. They checked my next order and assured me that my full and correct address is on the form for the next delivery. Then the same thing happened. Huge rigmarole and told absolute bullrot and could see through experience that they were doing this in purpose. Of course a strong European accent flavoured with bullrot. Then they delivered it while I was at work and made that rigmarole very difficult as it hadn't been left but was just a card missed delivery with some painful website expecting more rigmarole. The website said that I had to go and pick it up as it doesn't qualify for redirectory. I can also see that Country Road and Trenery Stores are experiencing some problems which I suspect are due to the staff (suspect an owner's son and daughter) pushing New Zealanders around. I do know that stores who practice organized crime and coercive control are being shut down and New Zealand is starting to honour their own resources, companies and people as staff. I still do not have my parcel after was supposed to be delivered a week ago and it is very inconvenient to have to go an pick it up. Look forward to this gang pad being closed down here in New Zealand.

I ordered numerous items- received an email confirmation, wasn’t told any items missing, to then open my package to see a shirt missing that’s marked on the picking slip as missing but no where else was it noted. I’ve tried to submit for a refund for the missing top and it’s been almost a week and have heard NOTHING.The customer service text line is dismal. disappointing and won’t be buying from them again honestly!

I had great customer service today from Sarah who works for County Road at David Jones, Carindale.

She was so friendly & helpful, checking other stores for my size in pants that I wanted & also checking for reward dollars I didn’t know I had.

Sarah wasn’t pushy or over-bearing & made it a very nice shopping experience! Thank you Sarah!

Bought an item during CR recent spend and save which didn’t fit right. Returned via Aus Post tracked package which was received by CR on Aug 14. I still have not received my refund, over 1 month later. Worst customer service I have experienced in a long time!

Disappointing customer service experience. I was trying to track down a Moss Green Stand Collar Coat in size 6, and after a lengthy live chat, was told the only remaining unit nationwide was at an outlet store an hour+ away.
When I asked about placing it on hold, I was told Country Road no longer allows customers to contact stores directly or hold items - everything is first-come, first-served and managed centrally through chat. So the "solution" was to travel over an hour on the chance the item might still be there when I arrived, with zero way to confirm beforehand.
This policy makes it needlessly difficult to actually secure stock. If an item is scarce, customers should have some way to reserve it or at least contact the store directly. As it stands, you're asked to gamble your time and travel on availability that can change at any moment. The chat agent (Manoj) was polite and did pass along my feedback, but the underlying policy is the real problem — it's pushed me away from shopping with Country Road for exactly this reason.

I have consistently tried giving CR a chance. I have ordered online 3 times and each time (after numerous long waits) all have been cancelled and refunded saying they are unable to fulfil my order. Why is it hard for CR to ensure that what they put out online is what is available for customers. Many other retailers are able to do this EASILY! If you want to remain relevant to consumers esp your online consumers then you need to match your stocks clearly in terms of availability. Fix it or get out of the game.

I bought a knitted top and when it arrived, I tried it on ONCE, I took it off and the top I was wearing underneath was absolutely covered in the white fibres - it sheds like crazy, so I sent it back - I then had the top returned saying there were no tags on it, I never took the tags off as I tried it on once and upon taking it off and seeing the issue with the shedding, I immediately decided to return it. I then had the top returned to me because there were no tags - I then sent photos of the issue, 'customer service' told me that I had to return it to a store - David Jones or Meyer, when I live in New Zealand - they then said as it had been assessed in store already they couldn't overturn that decision despite the top being horrible and unwearable as it sheds on everything it touches.
The customer service has been absolutely abysmal and the quality of country road is disgraceful - they aren't what they used to be and the amount of terrible reviews they have obviously reflects this.

I kept enquiring about when my click and collect would be ready, after not hearing anything for more than 2 weeks. They kept shrugging me off, telling me to wait! After nearly 3 weeks, I got a message to say that I now have to change to delivery to receive my item. The day after giving my address details, they tell me the item is no longer available, even though it is still available for purchase on the website! Again, customer service were not interested in assisting me! Never again!!!!

Country Road customer service does not exist . I went in store to complain about a faulty article and was told I had to contact them via email as they no longer have a phone number. I emailed and got absolutely no response . I used the live chat and that was no better. I got absolutely no customer service from Country Road

Terrible! No one gets back to me! Live chat doesn’t work! Sent two emails. My order has been sitting for 9 days “saying sent” but tracking there is no info! I am flabbergasted at how bad this is!

Bought sweat shirt for birthday present for grandson washed it in cold normal detergent and came out all blotchy orange marks. Return to store at Indooroopilly basically got told not faulty not their fault must be the way I washed it… cold water surf liquid. Advised to contact customer service which you cannot reach either by live chat or sms.
Went to CR Myer asked about CR return faulty merchandise couldn’t be more helpful took one look at it and said it’s faulty and had 3 other tops with similar marks on them that had been returned.
10 out of 10 for CR Myer staff at Indooroopilly MINUS 100 for Manager Tania at Indooroopilly CR. Will never step inside this shop again.

Awful customer service. I accidently put me order through twice because of an internet glitch, anyway, couldn't get hold of them. So I replied to my order email and they miss understood, that I wanted to cancel one order. Instead they sent me one item from each order so now it is going to cost me time and money to return it. Very frustrating. I am still chasing my refund. If this is the way they do business, I will go else where.

Their quality is terrible ! Plus the ladies at pacific fair are awful to deal with. If something under the consumer rights law is faulty they will argue with you and gas light you saying it’s not faulty? Retail workers need work.

Poor customer service via ‘SMS’ help line when issues with CR app payment system occurred over weekend.

The lady in the cbd store was literally trying to ignore that i was there today. They do NOT care.

A shocking customer service for what is supposed to be a quality brand. Paid full price for winter pants, faulty. After live chat and then email, given case number, and a week later still nothing. NO ONE to speak to and they ignore emails. Have had to take to a store, get repaired, and go back to collect (still waiting) Terrible and disappointing.

Absolutely terrible customer service! They only respond via txt message! I put an order in and got told due to high demand the order was cancelled but they still took my money! So frustrating! I got told to place another order and then they will partially refund my money? There is no number to call anymore. I am so disappointed and have been shopping at country road for many years but never again after this!

My item never shipped, I had to request a cancelation and refund which I am not even sure is accepted. Country Road need to improve their system to include updates for customers. A month of "order being fulfilled" is ridiculous. If you don't have an item, it's fine, just advise your customer and issue a refund and apology instead of leaving them hanging.

I purchased a top online through Trenery. There was a sale on it was less 25%. They took my money but the order did not go through. I could not see the order when I logged on. When they finally said they’d give me a refund I insisted that I still wanted the top and to continue with the purchase, but they refused and advised a refund would be processed. A month later I have purchased a top again because I like it but still not have got the refund after a month. I have contacted
Country Road group office and they are not interested. Where are we supposed to go for help?

ANOTHER poor experience with Country Road to join the numerous others on Trustpilot. The live chat/sms customer service repeatedly lied to me when I requested their email address, telling me twice that 'Live Chat & SMS only (no public email)per our contact page." They changed their story only AFTER I found their emails which are all @countryroad.com.au with various beginnings such as customerservice for customer service, online, reception for
head office and helen.wright for their brand manager directly but dont expect any action or response from their receptionist there either.
The Customer service staff via email then refused to provide me with their customer service phone number!! They hardly welcome contact with their customers!
Their phone numbers are 1800 801 911 (AUS) & 0800 105 655 (NZ) and head office (03) 8509 4200 not that customers can get through to them on the 1800 numbers.

So after over 20 texts and 3 emails to their head office reception, I called their head office on 03 8509 4200 where the receptionist talked over me, cut me off and hung up on me - hardly the professional response expected from a supposed high end brand!!! The head office is also the H.O. for Witchery which is another brand along with Mimico, Politix, Trenery that Woolworths Holdings own so more price gouging from the corporate giant!!

After a further 20 plus more emails to their customer service, AND emailing their Brand Chief Helen Wright directly Country Road remained berligerant, disinterested, actively blocking contact and continue to breach Australian Consumer Law by refusing to supply the item I purchased on sale that is in stock at the non sale price- after they confirmed the order, took payment, then cancelled the order so they can sell it at the higher non sale price!!!
They've lost ANOTHER loyal customer, not just Country Road but Witchery, Mimico, Politix etc. I am only shopping with their compeditors from now on.
