Liam, Ashton and Cody replaced 3 windows in 2 upstairs’ windows last week. The work was done professionally and quickly with the minimum of fuss and no mess. They were also friendly and polite, a real credit to County windows.

Our experience with County has been frustrating and disappointing over the course of five months. The service and quality fell significantly below what we expected. If zero stars were possible, that’s what this company would receive.

Here are the key issues we encountered:

1. **Wrong Door Opening Direction**: The door was installed to open in the wrong direction, blocking access to a toilet door and causing considerable inconvenience.

2. **Missing Spy Hole**: A basic security feature like the spy hole was omitted, which we expected to be standard.

3. **Incorrect Handle Type**: The handle installed was not the one we had specified during the ordering process.

4. **Transparent Glass Instead of Privacy Glass**: Despite requesting privacy glass, the door was fitted with transparent glass, compromising our privacy.

5. **Unsightly Interim Door**: For two months, we had to live with an incomplete installation surrounded by orange foam, which was both unsightly and raised concerns about security and functionality.

6. **Spy Hole Damage and Delays**: The original spy hole arrived damaged from the factory, and the replacement process took over a month, with incorrect replacements ordered twice.

7. **Loose Keyhole**: The keyhole was installed loosely and required further repairs.

It took many months for all of these issues to be finally addressed, leaving us to deal with the inconvenience and frustration in the meantime.

Communication throughout this process was poor, with little attention to detail, no quality control and incompetent customer service, sales and surveying. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this company.

Tyler and his colleague installed our new front door. Being the cottage is nearly 200 years old nothing is straightforward. They made a tricky job look easy and we’re so pleased with the result. Hopefully they will be installing the windows in a couple of months

Very pleased with our new windows and the quality and service we received. We had 27 windows and doors replaced on what is a challenging older property and the advice we received and the installation from Tyler and Cody was excellent. Would recommend County and it reminded me that specialists (rather than general builders) always do a far better job.

Excellent service from the beginning with this Company, very good communication & a perfect installation today of our replacement French doors for the patio - brilliant service from Kevin & Mitch. They arrived on time and finished @ lunchtime after making sure I new how locking worked etc. I can highly recommend the company along with these charming two guys! Thanks

I would like to say how pleased I am with the installation of replacement windows and doors to my house. Jason and Ashton did a fabulous job and I would highly recommend them and the whole team at County.

I had seven new windows installed at the back of the house having previously had the ones at the front of the House made by County the home improvers a couple of years ago. The work was done with a minimum of fuss by Tyler Liam and Cody and I would not hesitate to recommend this company!

We are so pleased with the successful replacement of not only all of our upstairs windows and downstairs front windows but also our front door. It is a huge investment for our 120 year old house and County Windows have been helpful and informative with the decision making along the way.
Kevin and Mitchell, who fitted the replacement are a great team, cheerful, communicative and respectful of our needs as they worked efficiently in and outside the house. They both take pride in their work which is so lovely to see.

Second time in using County the Home improvers and I would thoroughly recommend them, on service, product, timings and a fair price. Thank you once again County.

We have just had our second installation of replacement windows by County. We were so pleased with the first ones at the the back of our house that we decided to do the remaining front windows too. Everything went smoothly on both occasions from our initial contact right through to completion. Special thanks to Kevin and Mitchell for skilfully fitting some less than straightforward windows for us. They arrived promptly each day and worked so hard and methodically with such a cheerful attitude. Thanks very much - you’re both a credit to this company

County were excellent to deal with throughout the process (they did what they said they would, when they said they would). The product, Origin metal internal doors, were good quality and the fitter, Wayne, was excellent. Would use County again.

An excellent service from installers Jay & Ash. They arrived promptly and worked cleanly and efficiently to install a new patio door. They explained what they were doing and were happy to answer any questions.
We’re very pleased with the outcome and would thoroughly recommend them.
