Very disappointed with repeated €30 administration fees

I have my car insurance through Coverinaclick, with Aviva as my insurer. My own car, which I purchased from Hyundai Long Mile Road, is currently in the garage due to a problem with the panoramic roof.

While my car is being repaired, the Hyundai garage provided me with a courtesy car. I contacted Coverinaclick to inform them and arrange temporary cover for the courtesy car for one week. I was charged a €30 broker administration fee, even though I am still paying for my existing insurance policy as normal.

Unfortunately, Hyundai has not yet completed the repair, so I needed to keep the same courtesy car for another week. I contacted Coverinaclick simply to extend the temporary cover, and I was charged another €30 administration fee.

I find this extremely disappointing. I have already paid €60 in administration fees just because my car is taking longer to repair, something completely outside of my control. I am not changing to a different vehicle each week — it is the same courtesy car provided by the garage while my insured vehicle is being repaired.

What happens if the repair takes another week? Am I expected to pay another €30, and then another €30 every time the temporary cover needs to be extended?

I understand that brokers may have administration fees, but repeatedly charging an existing customer €30 to extend cover on the same courtesy car, while they continue paying their normal insurance policy, does not feel reasonable or customer-friendly.

Conor was extremely helpful and patient when I was renewing as I had to sort an issue with a previous claim.

First time to use Cover in a click. Had a great, informative, very patient and supportive young girl named Grace. Anything I was having a problem with, she was 100% at the end of the phone. I did have bit of an issue at one point but it was handled by Grace effortlessly. It made my change over stress free. Definitely recommend this company..

Terrible customer service, takes ages to get back to you on emails or even calls back. Was going to go with them but found a better quote somewhere else so I cancelled before my policy with them even started.

They took a 550 deposit and it’s been just over 2 weeks since then and still haven’t received a refund nor a formal email to say my cancellation has been processed. Even when I was trying to call to cancel my policy, they said they would ring me back, but didn’t.

Like what others have also said, you’d end up having to reach out to them for weeks, just to probably get some measly response with spelling mistakes. They don’t even have a proper phone section for general inquiries which is stupid in my opinion. You’d have to pick one, wait several minutes for someone to pick up, say what you’re there for and then get transferred.

Highly disappointed and would not recommend in terms of refunding and having a reliable customer service. Lovely staff, just terrible at getting back to you.

The customer service was top notch, shoutout to Cian, not only he explained to me everything related to my policy but he went the extra mile to reply each and every question that I asked, and I asked a lot!

The pricing is good, but you really don’t want to need customer support.
They don’t work properly over email, or they reply very rarely—sometimes after 2–3 days. Calling them isn’t better either. You can stay on hold for hours or even days. When someone finally answers, they just take your number and say a colleague will call you back… which often never happens.
You seriously need to improve your customer service.

waiting two weeks for my insurance disc what ever i saved on premium .I lost more on calls waiting 50mins .listening to dreadful music and still no answer . dreadful after sales customer service

I am waiting on someone to help me open the link which I have not received in order to get my insurance in I have done the ID Pal on the link - but one of your assistance said there was another link - I need to do this urgently as my 14 years is almost up - can some one please call me urgently
