We have just returned from an incredible tour of the Golden Triangle, Shimla plus an extension to Amritsar.
The tour was busy with site visits and wonderful experiences, and for us it was a perfect introductory tour of India.
The tour guide, Prem Sharma, was excellent. Prem has an in depth knowledge of all sites visited and he was able to covey his enthusiasm and love of India to the group. He also went out of his way to introduce the ‘bird life of Northern India’ which was very much appreciated by my husband.

Just returned from the Golden Triangle with Shimla tour. Our guide, Prem, was amazing, so knowledgeable and helpful.
Most tips were taken care of or organised by Prem. Hotels were all
of a good standard but The Imperial in Delhi stood apart. Extra days in Delhi would be recommended.

Our tour guide, Prem, was brilliant. He is very knowledgeable of all sites we visited and also the wildlife of the area. He is also caring and very well organised. Thank you so much Prem.

A wonderful guided tour of Golden Triangle & Shimla. All beautifully organised and arranged. We were 18 in the group which was good but I wouldn’t have wanted any more. I was concerned that Cox & Kings made adjustments to itinerary between booking and arrival without communicating this . Our tour guide Prem was excellent. Caring , knowledgeable and efficient. I felt that 3 nights in Shimla was too much . The excursions could have been combined into 1.5 days and that would have allowed us an extra day in Delhi which felt very rushed. The Imperial was by far the best hotel. The hotel in Shimla lacked outdoor space . The hotel in Agra was very average . The hotel in Jaipur was very historical in a beautiful setting but rooms needed modernising and food was average. Overall considering what was included , I thought the tour represented good value for money. I liked how much of the tipping etc was taken care of.

I’ve just returned from an amazing tour of Rajasthan, India. The itinerary was packed with highlights and every minute was filled with great experiences. Our tour guide was very professional. His knowledge of all sites visited was exceptional and he thought of everything to make our tour run smoothly. He made sure we had a trip of a lifetime. Thanks you so much Karan. Would definitely travel with Cox & Kings again.

We have just returned from an incredible experience on the above tour. The tour was very well organised and the sights and choice of venues were excellent. Notably the tour guide Prem was brilliant. He paced each site visit superbly well and his knowledge of the forts palaces and temples visited and the country in general was very informative. He was also very alert at all times to ensure our group was safe, particularly in busy pedestrian areas and around traffic. The chosen hotels were varied and all good quality, although one or two of the heritage hotels although beautiful buildings were perhaps showing signs of age, but nevertheless still a far better experience than perhaps more modern faceless ones. For anyone considering this specific tour, an extension at the end to explore more of Delhi is worth considering. I thoroughly recommend this tour, and who knows with a bit of luck you may get Prem to show you around.

I have returned recently from The Rajestan tour which was wonderful. Made all the better by our courteous friendly and extremely knowledgeable guide Prem Sharma. He managed to break up journeys by drawing our attention to many differing sights along the road which added incrementally to the experience. He was ably assisted by Ranjit the driver who despite the hazardous nature of the roads gave us a smooth and comfortable ride. They in turn were assisted by Ranjit who cared for the bus keeping it clean and well supplied with water.
I loved the organisation of the route and the variety of hotels, though the Jaipur hotel was a disappointment. I could have done with time to shop in the some of the many bazaars that we passed.

PASSAGE THROUGH RAJASTHAN
Our first trip to India was memorable: two weeks of varied and fascinating experiences, with our guide Prem sharing his wide knowledge of locations, history, culture and politics. He was always impeccably turned out, and we appreciated his gentle humour.
The coach was comfortable, and driver dealt exceptionally well with the traffic conditions - which could charitably be described as challenging.
The hotels were all either efficient, or characterful, or both - apart from the one in Jaipur, where both plumbing and electricity were unreliable.
Substituting extra time in Jodhpur, Jaipur or Delhi would arguably been a better option than the long journey to Bikaner, but in general the itinerary was excellent.
We'd thoroughly recommend this as an introduction to India.

Had a truly wonderful time on this very well-organised holiday. A complete mixture of experiences from palaces to street markets to tiger safari, ending with Agra and the brilliant Taj Mahal which didn’t disappoint. Hotels and food were excellent. The comfort, consistency and safety of the Cox and Kings (UK) quality was evident throughout, from the coach, its driver and assistant and very smooth administration at every single hotel and all the sights. You can fully enjoy all the tour without having to worry about the logistics. Our guide Prem was outstanding - highly knowledgeable, good fun, kept us moving along without feeling pressured, always there for us - thank you Prem for making my 40 year dream to see India come true!

This was our first visit to India We had a 15 day tour to Rajasthan visiting the most stunning forts and temples . Our guide was absolutely superb. He was knowledgeable , extremely caring and enthusiastic throughout. We stayed at some magnificent heritage hotels which exceeded all expectations and we also spent time visiting a game reserve where we saw bengal tigers. This certainly won’t be our last visit to India

Thoroughly enjoyed this trip. Fortunately shared by a great group. Met my ambition to see a Bengal Tiger on a Ranthambore safari. Only one hotel disappointing due to lack of hot water. Otherwise perfectly organised.

We have just returned from a tour of Rajasthan which was an unforgettable experience, thanks largely to our exceptional guide, Prem Sharma. His deep knowledge of the region’s history and culture brought every site to life. He shared fascinating stories and insights of local life along the way, and was always attentive to everyone’s comfort and needs. His calm presence, infectious enthusiasm and wonderful sense of humour made each day extremely enjoyable. Truly one of the best guides we’ve ever had. Also worth noting that our bus driver and bus helper were wonderful. Even in the chaos of Indian traffic and some challenging roads, we felt safe and comfortable at all times. Fortunately, we also had a really lovely group of people on the trip and there was a relaxed and inclusive atmosphere as we travelled together. A great trip we would recommend unreservedly.

Passage through Rajastan: Very well organised tour. Very nice hotels. Our guide Prem was the most helpful and friendly guide we could have wished for. He made everything run so very smoothly. We also loved his smart appearance and attention to detail and especially his humour.
For the organisers of the tour: an extra day to explore Jaipur would have been very welcome.

Just returned from a fabulous tour of Rajasthan with Cox & Kings. I’d never been to India before so chose a group tour. From the start to the end of the holiday I was taken care of. Really useful information pack before I left (visa, vaccinations, money, etc) & once arriving at Mumbai everything was taken care of. I always felt safe & supported. The best part of the tour was our guide Prem who was so knowledgeable about the country & culture of India & the gorgeous palaces & forts that we visited. He was also a gentle, kind man who responded immediately to any request with grace & professionalism. He made the holiday. It was a small tour 16 of us so we could all be comfortable on the long coach drives which because of all the comfort & lunch breaks we took never felt long. And we never felt nervous driving the long distances as our driver was so careful & skillful. The hotels were also fabulous. And we saw the tigers on our two safari rides (not guaranteed I’m afraid!) I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this company or India. I left my heart in India & I shall be returning hopefully on another Cox & Kings tour.

This was my first and last experience with this fraud team. They've organised my transfers as SIC basis but I had to travel with public transport everyday and at some places, booked private cabs at my own.
I've booked 4 star property and done the payment but after receiving the payment, they've converted it to 2 star property and that too out of the city. If you want to get shocking surprises everyday during your trip, then can book via Cox and Kings. My PoC was Mr.Anand untill I've done the payment for first installment but post 1st payment, he has given my booking to someone else and during the trip, we was not at all available, neither he asked about issues which I've posted on WhatsApp group even though he has seen the messages. My trip was assigned to some random person and he was not at all helpful. Their local ground team is so useless. Will never pick your call.
Mr. Anand is a big liar and not at all professional. He has done all false commitment and after payment, he hasn't responded.
It's upto you now if you want to make a memory of trip or a disaster.

My wife and I have recently returned from Argentina and Brazil. An amazing holiday, with excellent guide support in both countries. We did a “bolt on” of El Calafate (Patagonia) and a beach resort (Buzios) either side of the main tour. Hotel locations were excellent, and the planned tours were also very good. Still allowed plenty of time to do what you wanted to do yourself, for example we organised our own day trip to Uruguay, and a visit to a football game at the Maracana Stadium. I cannot praise Cox and Kings enough, and will hopefully use them again in the future, thoroughly recommend.

The 4 day tour in Ravenna was magnificent! So many incredible sites, nearly all within walking distance of our charming hotel. An expert guide, some excellent meals, a friendly group to discover and share it all with. Well done to all involved.

Went in November on the North India Golden Triangle plus Shimla tour.
This was a small group tour of 18 people.
We had stops in Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, Chandigarh, Shimla and back to Delhi.
Transport was mainly in comfortable coach and later domestic flight and train journey when travelling up into the mountain area.
We were guided and supported all the way by our knowledgeable and friendly tour guide Ajay Shekhawat.
Special thanks to Ajay for passing on his knowledge of places and people, guiding the group through the chaos of Delhi city centre, organising all means of transport as well as local guides where needed.
All booked hotel accomodation were outstanding and same was true for the vast variety of food in the buffet style dinners.
Coach staff always had sanitizer available and also fresh water.
Amazing trip and experience and very good value for money in our opinion.

Ourselves and two friends on the trip also had booked an extension flying to Kerala region in South India.
Spend an amazing day and night on a house boat as well a couple of night in a resort at the backwaters.
More memories made.
Highly recommend this trip and we will not hesitate to book Cox & Kings again.

Excellent Cox and Kings tour to Pakistan with Diana Driscoll. Local guide and tour manager Atta was superb. Do recommend to all travellers this tour with Diana and Atta. You will not be disappointed with the friendless of the Pakistani people, wonderful Mughal forts, palaces and beautiful Sufi shrines.

Cox and Kings Costa Rica tour was both interesting and insightful. The guide was possibly the most knowledgeable person I have ever met on all things flora and forna. A largely unspoiled country, well worth a visit for the unmatched wildlife within the rain forests organised by a great tour company (I have already booked my next tour with Cox and Kings).
