Creation Crate Reviews

Good course for beginners of all ages. I recommend it.

Really fun and challenging at the same time. Introduced me to the world of Arduino. Before I had this crate, I knew little to none about electronics and coding. Now, I have the fundamentals down pat. All thanks to Creation Crate!

I was automatically charged a second $350, never received the shipment, and no response to the emails I’ve sent.

I think this is a scam so buyer beware.

Their products are "okay" but hardly wow! Be sure that you're aware that they automatically sign you up for a yearly renewal to the tune of $350+. They won't ask you, they'll just keep charging your card. It's difficult to get in touch with them once this happens and I have yet to determine if they'll return the money they took from me for a second year I didn't want.

My 10 year old nephew really enjoyed his crates. And the customer service I received from Naseem with follow-up questions I had was stellar. Very refreshing!

My son had so much fun building his TalkBot and it is one of his favourite toys. Great quality kit! Would recommend to anyone.

Fun project and a good introduction into the world of Arduino. Looking forward to future projects

Excellent fun!

I gave my 8-year-old a subscription and it has been great. I only did a tiny amount of electronics in high-school and both of us have learned a lot. The crates come with everything you need (and a few spares in some instances) and the instructions are clear.

The fact that it addresses both the electronics and how programing a UNO interacts with it is particularly useful.

We had some difficulty getting the UNO to work with our older iMAC (which is frustrating) but that is nothing to do with Creation Crate.

I would highly recommend it (and do) to anyone with an interest in electronics and or programming.

I really liked the create because all the building with arduino.

A very well constructed and documented crate.

This is my second Creation Crate and I am very pleased on the quality of materials that are provided including a Arduino which is work the price of the crate itself.

Instructions and training materials are top notch

I had a lot of fun making my first project and I definitely learned more about electronics than I ever have. The rest of the 12-month project kit looks just as good. Highly recommend!

I've ordered the 12 project crate and the projects have been fun! My favorite so far has been the mood lamp. I'm currently working on a more portable version to take to work once I'm back in the office.

I'm glad I decided to try it out. It did require some troubleshooting to get everything working (needed to download different drivers), but nothing too bad. It would be nice if links to drivers that might be needed were added to the starting page (if they are there, I didn't see them).

We had some issues with items broken during shipment and some unclear wording leading to mid-managed expectations. The rep we worked with took time to understand what had happened and to come up with a solution that both addressed our needs and may help others avoid the issue in the future.

I ordered the 12 project kit from Creation Crate on 12/6. My credit card was charged and I got a confirmation email with a tracking number. The tracking says a shipping label has been created but no updates since then. This was supposed to be a Christmas gift for my son. I have sent emails and left a message on Facebook with no responses. I have never left a negative review on a company on the internet. But the lack of response from this company is unacceptable. Even if there is shipping delays or covid related delays, I expect to receive a response from the company with the state of my very expensive order.

Update: they did finally respond to me and said the problem was with the post office. My order did end up coming after Christmas unfortunately. So far my son is enjoying the kit.

I ordered this for my daughter's Christmas present. It has been weeks and they still have not shipped this, nor will they get back to me. I have contacted them 3 times, I am continually checking my spam folder and have received nothing. It is now one week before Christmas and I am without my daughter's big gift and am beyond disappointed in this company and their lack of customer service.

These are great projects. I did some programming and electronics a long time ago and these allowed me to reshape and renew my skills.

My 3 Sons purchased a project kit for me as a Fathers
day gift. Recent retired, staying home a lot during these difficult times. They knew I tried the Raspberry PI route
as an experiment a couple years ago and did not get far. I was trying to teach myself out of a book. This kit
contained all the hardware needed, UNO board, components, pc boards, LEDs , wires, everything. The online videos walked me through it at my pace. The projects were also downloadable as a PDF so I could learn off line. When I had questions, I emailed them and they responded promptly. Finished the first 2 of the 3 projects in this kit in a few short sessions and am feeling very comfortable with the coding and
assembling of the projects. Will definitely order another set of projects from Creation Crate. Not sure how they provide so much for the price, but very happy with the gift and entertaining / learning. Highly recommend to anyone that is curious to tinker with electronics and programming.

Excellent experience. Fun to do these projects. We all use electronics everyday so we should know something about how they work.

I'm a 47 year-old woman and I'm loving these projects! They're very fun to build. I've learned quite a lot and even made a few projects of my own design based on what I've learned! I really enjoy the tactile sensation of working with the parts to create something. Extremely satisfying. I wish this existed when I was a child!

So far I've learned that this is a low cost, easy and fun way to learn how to code Arduino for adults and children alike.
