Cannot recommend enough. My dad sadly passed away unexpectedly and both my mum and I selected some earrings to be made, the kit they send out is simple to follow, I thought the letter asking about writing down memories and picking a song was such an incredibly thoughtful touch. The communication was incredible throughout. Yes the items took a while but that’s how you know they are being made from scratch with love. Both earrings when they arrived are stunning and the packaging and little extras that come with it mean so much. They only arrived today and already I am looking at getting a necklace and a ring made from this company. It means so much to know dad was treated so well and reapectfullly and I have a stunning keepsake to keep him close out of it.

My daughter had had the rings for less than 6 months. A stone fell out of one of them and her dad's ashes fell out of the other one. Most upsetting and disappointing.
The company was contacted and they requested to send the rings back to them to be looked at.
They asked for £50 towards the cost of repair to which was refused.
They returned both rings without resolving the situation. On receiving the rings back, they were both badly bent.
Appalling service and workmanship.
I would definitely not recommend this company.

I’ve just received my Channel Ashes Ring, which has far exceeded my expectations. From start to finish, Cumbrialifecasting has kept me informed, and when I received the ring today, the way it was packaged and presented was beautiful. I cannot recommend them enough.

I am absolutely in awe of the beautiful ring created by Cumbria Life Casting.

I spent a long time searching different websites and looking at so many companies, but none of them felt quite right. I actually discovered Cumbria Life Casting through a social media advert and as my partner and I love visiting the Lake District, it immediately felt like a special place to trust with my precious girl’s ashes. After reading through their reviews and doing a little more research, I knew this was the company I wanted to choose.

On 7th May, I visited their shop in Silloth because I was torn between a couple of ring designs and wanted to see them in person, along with the different colour options. Victoria was so kind, patient, and understanding, making the whole experience feel easy and completely stress-free.

I opted for the ring design “Maeve” Silver 925 with resin, using Cobalt Blue Sparkle, and opted to have the ashes visible.

I was advised that my ring could take up to 10 weeks to be completed, so receiving it in just under 9 weeks was a lovely surprise. I had originally planned to collect it, but as I live in Wakefield and wasn’t going to be back in the Lakes for a few more weeks, I emailed to ask if it could be posted instead. Mike replied incredibly quickly and arranged everything straight away. My ring arrived the very next day.

The presentation was beautiful. The ring was carefully packaged, and the remaining ashes that weren’t used were respectfully returned to me, safely secured in a small grey pouch.

The craftsmanship is outstanding. The ring is beautifully made with incredible attention to detail, and Iris’ ashes have been so delicately and thoughtfully placed within the resin. It is even more beautiful than I ever imagined.

I honestly couldn’t be happier with my decision to choose Cumbria Life Casting. I am so incredibly grateful to Victoria, Mike and the whole team for creating such a meaningful piece of jewellery that allows me to carry Iris with me every single day. It is something I will treasure forever.

What can I say I ordered three different pieces of jewellery to commenorate the passing of two beloved ponies. The two rings both different designs and bracelet were stunning and have been commented on when worn. From my original conversation prior to ordering, then ordering and and finally delivery, I was kept informed at every stage of the process. I would not hesitate to order from them again.

From beginning to end of my order we were kept informed all the way communication excellent .
My husband had the tungsten bracelet in black sparkle with his daughters inclusions and I have to say it is beautiful
It has made a very sad time more bearable and a beautiful tribute to her

Absolutely perfect. I was honestly a little nervous about buying any jewellery as I'm really fussy and I usually never like anything. It took 6 months for me to settle on a design and I chose the Sienna pendant and honestly pictures don't do it justice it is just stunning. I'm over the moon with it.

There was a small issue with the chain and they responded instantly with a solution. I will be recommending these to whoever is looking for something a little personal.

Received my breast milk ring and I’m so pleased with it - I like many others choose to get jewellery to represent a difficult but meaningful journey and also for the bond between my baby and I. I really loved the fact that you could see what was happening each week and looked forward to refreshing the tracker every Tuesday 😂 so exciting to open the parcel and such a lovely touch to receive the sunflower seeds and the certificate of authenticity as well as a little cloth to look after my ring. Thank you so much!

Placed an order in November for 2 items of jewellery to include my mum's ashes. These were to be xmas gifts to my daughters so I checked on the website that these would be in time for xmas and there was an option to have the items fast tracked which I paid for just to be sure. This fee was later refunded to me but with no explanation as to why. If they had informed me that the order would not be ready for xmas, I would not have continued with the purchase.When I got an update in December that items were in the making process it became clear that these would not be with me for xmas. Several emails got me no where, then on 16/12/25 without notice, they cancelled my order due to the "continued disagreement with the ordering process" These gifts were extremely personal and important to me. For a small company to adopt this attitude says a lot for how little they value their customers as they gave no thought to me.

I have today received my ash inclusion ring and I am absolutely in love. It is beautiful.
Aside from the amazing jewellery, the experience I had was lovely. I had a couple of questions and each time they were answered with care and compassion.
I paid for fast track because I wanted my loved one to be with me as quickly as possible after being entirely devasted. From sending my pack with inclusions to receiving my ring was 2.5 weeks.

I cried opening the package, the love and care taken is evident. I miss my girl every single second, but carrying a part of her with I feel more whole than I have since I lost her.

My only slight niggle is I wasn't kept updated. As I paid for fast track the order didn't follow usual order tracking and my only notification was when my ring was dispatched.

Beautiful handcrafted ring. The entire process took weeks and weeks, but I was able to track my ring's progress on the website so I knew that it was being worked on. I've seen a lot of negative reviews about this company but they created a really lovely piece for me. They clearly put a lot of thought into the packaging, which made opening it a really special experience. Cumbria Life Casting is the only company that I could find to offer breastmilk in glass, rather than resin, which is why I chose them to make my ring.

Absolutely heartbroken. Trusted this company with my Dad's ashes to make me a forever ring and the ring is hideous! Looks and feels like plastic; the sort of ring you'd get from a Christmas cracker! Cannot believe I paid £170 for it. Shockingly bad and clearly not 925 silver. Looks like the blanks from China/India. Please don't waste your money. There are far better companies out there.
