⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great 15-Day Peru Tour Experience

I had a great 15-day trip in Peru with Cusco Journeys. Everything was well organized, and the itinerary included amazing places like Cusco, the Sacred Valley, and Machu Picchu.

The guides were knowledgeable and friendly, and all logistics (transport, hotels, and tickets) were handled smoothly.

Overall, a very good experience. I would recommend them to anyone planning a trip to Peru.

Had a great time doing the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu 2 Days 1 Night experience. We saw some incredible ruins on our way through the Sacred Valley and had a delicious buffet lunch. After visiting the Ollantaytambo Fortress we took a scenic train ride to Aguas Calientes. The following day we left early to go to Machu Picchu with our very knowledgeable tour guide Yajayda. She explained the historical background of the site and took us through what historians believe was Pachacuti's residential quarters. Highly recommend this experience and ask for Yajayda!

Manu National Park is truly a unique and fascinating place. I joined a 4-day, 3 night tour and it felt very authentic, with plenty of time spent deep in the jungle. The lodge food was excellent impressively prepared with limited resources. Our guides were knowledgeable, patient, and attentive to our preferences. We loved the accommodations, the meals, and the entire jungle experience. It’s something we’ll never forget.

Went on a 4d/3n tour in Manu National Park with Cusco Journeys and it felt fairly authentic and you got to spend a lot of time in the jungle. It's an amazing place, for the richness of its animal and plant life. The food at the lodges were great and well crafted with little resources. The guides were very knowledgeable and accommodating to specific wants. The activities are good, you can hike up a mountain for a couple hours to see monkeys or take a motor canoe to a good hiking spot with balsam rafts and get lucky and see a white Caiman. Plan to stay at least 4 days since getting to the core zone of the park already takes 2 days. However there is already plenty to see on the way. Make sure to have a good guide to show you around. A must see for the ones going to the city of Cusco, Peru. 

When we booked our trip to Peru, we knew we wanted to visit Machu Picchu but didn’t know the best way for us to get there. After some research and knowing our total trip length constraints, we landed on the 3 day-2 night tour that included a day trip through the Sacred Valley, the “short” Inca hike on day 2 and visiting Machu Picchu the morning of day 3 before heading back to Cusco. It included many meals, hotels, and all transit/tickets needed, so seemed like a good plan!

This was our first time booking an overnight tour through a company and we absolutely loved it. Miguel was super communicative prior to our trip, met us the day before at our hotel in Cusco to walk through everything, and from that moment on everything was taken care of.

For day 1, we had a great time with Julio and the rest of our tour group visiting Pisac and Ollantaytambo. Julio was an extremely informative guide and made it a great day! One of the best parts? Getting dropped off at a hotel in Ollantaytambo with our reservation already set and ready!

We met our guide Raul early in the morning day 2 to take the train to stop 104 and begin our hike. Raul is who made the entire 3 day-2 night trip amazing! 10/10. We ended up on a private 2 day tour with him, and it was so nice to be able to go at our own pace up the trail and learn from him along the way. He didn’t mind my frequent breaks - hiking uphill at such high elevation is no joke! Despite the amount of sweat and heavy breathing endured, the view at the top was absolutely worth it looking into Machu Picchu.

Raul also went with me and my spouse to the hot springs after we got to Aguas Calientes, which was so cool to get to see! And after the short Inca trek uphill was quite the nice relaxant for our muscles.

Overall, we lucked out with everything. Weather was clear blue skies days 1 and 2, and we got to see Machu Picchu on day three in the clouds/fog and learn all about the grounds from Raul.

We can’t recommend this trip (or Raul) enough. Seamless, educational, and an overall wonderful time! Booking through a tour group and having everything taken care of made us able to be fully present with our experience in the Sacred Valley and at Machu Picchu. While we didn’t know what to expect, it exceeded all expectations we had going into our trip to Machu Picchu!
