Avoid Cushion.ai at All Costs

I am utterly appalled by the disgraceful actions of Cushion.ai. After a simple payment hiccup, they unceremoniously closed my account without any explanation or chance for resolution. Their arbitrary decision to permanently ban me from using their service is not only unjust but a clear display of unprofessionalism and disregard for their customers.

It is ludicrous to fathom that a missed payment, a common error that can happen to anyone, would warrant such a severe punishment of complete account deletion. Other reputable companies would simply notify you of the issue and provide an opportunity to rectify the situation, but not Cushion.ai. They seem to revel in holding your data hostage and denying you access forever, all for the sake of a minor payment lapse.

Their so-called "procedure" is nothing but a flimsy excuse to cover up their lack of empathy and understanding towards their users. Deleting an account without proper justification or recourse is beyond despicable and showcases their utter disregard for customer satisfaction.

Furthermore, the abysmal customer service provided by Cushion.ai is a further testament to their incompetence. Refusing to provide a valid reason for account closure and hiding behind vague policies is the epitome of unprofessionalism. It is crystal clear that customer loyalty and decency are mere afterthoughts for this careless company.

I implore anyone reading this review to steer clear of Cushion.ai. Not only do they exhibit a complete lack of integrity in handling payment issues, but there are also numerous reports of their service not even functioning correctly despite payment. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this abysmal company at all costs.

In conclusion, I strongly urge all potential customers to stay away from Cushion.ai. Their callous treatment of users, unjust account closures, and inadequate service make them unworthy of anyone's time or money. Choose a company that values its customers and respects common decency – something that Cushion.ai sorely lacks. I do not recommend anybody to use their service, and I caution you to beware of the deceit lurking behind the facade of Cushion.ai.

EDIT: My response to their reply to this review, regardless of whether it was one failed payment or a hundred, any other service would simply downgrade your account to the free tier/plan. Let's learn, shall we? Take Spotify for example – if my Spotify payment failed to go through multiple times, let's say even 25 times, Spotify wouldn't ban me from ever using their service resulting in losing a user/money and tarnishing their reputation. Instead they would just simply downgrade my account from Spotify Premium to Spotify Free. Your excuse for why I'm banned from using your service is absolute rubbish!

This has been a game changer for me

This has been a game changer for me. The only bnpl service that I an accepted for is afterpay and they of course do not report your credit. If I'm always denied how can I build my credit? Well this company takes all of my afterpay payments and reports them for me. Not only do they report my afterpay but all my other bills as well. I've gone up 50 points in one month already! Almost to 700 now and I actually got approved for a vehicle, finally! Just going to wait a bit longer and get all my recurring caught up, get a few more lines of general credit cards, keep everything at around 10% and boom, by January I'm in the vehicle I want with the monthly payments I chose

Horrible company as a whole

So I made an account and for no known reason at all the next time I went to log in there was a screen saying we are unable to offer you an account at this time. Please reach out to customer service for further assistance. I was locked out of my account with no way to log in or out, so I emailed them like the screen told me to and their response was along the lines of oh well if you reached that screen then there is nothing really we can do for you and we can’t tell you why have a good day. As if I’m some non citizen money laundering scam artist or something it makes no sense why I shouldn’t be able to create an account or for them not to be able to tell me why I can’t. I have checking, savings, and credit card accounts with some of the most prestigious banks in the country so why wouldn’t I qualify for something as dumb as this account, what’s most infuriating is that they don’t give you any reasons to why you can’t have an account! That’s not customer service in the least bit and they should be ashamed of themselves and strive to be a better company. I’m actually happy I don’t have an account if this is any indication of how things would have been if I did have one. What a joke and I would never recommend you to anyone I know.

I like cushion so far

I like cushion so far, I just have one issue .. a couple of my bills like electricity and car insurance (the two most expensive) won't accept credit/debt cards for auto payment, only bank account. So I can't use cushion card to pay so these bills won't be tracked on my credit report and that makes me sad.

Update: I can manually use my cushion card to pay those bills each month. Just not autopay.

Cushion for the win

Cushion is something I send to all my friends. We all use but now pay later apps all the time why not get credit for it. I believe I have 22 on time payments this month and cushion reports it and helps me shine!!!

Last Attempt

I guess I will come here and see if this is answered by customer service. I have sent emails that have been unanswered several times. I posted a comment on a Facebook advertisement and that was responded to letting me know they didn’t have an email from me. So I commented back and showed screenshots of the emails that have gone unanswered. I have posted on Twitter and tagged them asking customer service to contact me. I have sent more emails that have been not responded to. I guess I’m gonna try here and see if I can get a response from my negative review. So far this is horrible customer service and they are supposed to have private information. I don’t trust them AT ALL!
