To be clear up front, I didn't do the program and never got onto their platform. This review is about the sign-up and sales process, not the course.
I'm all for things moving quickly, and they do. I registered one day and got a call the next from Hannah, who was really helpful. The day after that I had an "Eligibility Session" with Ben. The staff are good - warm, friendly, reassuring. But after a 40-odd-minute session with Ben, it was only afterwards that I realised I'd been sold the dream, with extras attached and at a premium.
After some surprisingly deep reflection, it hit me that the people I'd been talking to are salespeople first and foremost. They work very hard to get you on board, and if you're anything like me, you're almost desperate to get into that kind of role. To me, the questions felt like they played on that. They pull at your heartstrings and leave you feeling vulnerable. Before you know it, you're looking at their screen at a payment plan through Humm. What I wasn't told is that Humm isn't a bank. It's a buy now, pay later provider, and that's credit that can show up on your credit file.
You also aren't told the price until you're already sold on the dream: $8,500 for a 12-month subscription, or $7,500 if you pay upfront.
I pulled out afterwards, and here's why. The certifications they teach are CompTIA ones, and you can buy them directly from CompTIA. A+, the entry-level IT support certification, costs $866 for both exam vouchers, or $1,182 with official practice tests and a free retake on each exam. If you'd rather have a course, TAFE NSW's Certificate III in Information Technology (ICT30120) is on the Fee-Free list and leads into the Certificate IV in Cyber Security.
I nearly forgot to mention one more thing. I texted Ben to thank him for his time and let him know I'd be declining. Then I called Humm and went through the process of cancelling the plan. Afterwards I got two calls from Ben. Not gonna lie, I half expected it, but there was a tell, a way of speaking that brought out the salesman. I'd mentioned some trouble finding work during the session, and in what felt like a last-ditch effort to bring me back on board, he said something along the lines of: "Well, what's going to change if you go back to what you've been doing for the last couple of years?" What I heard was: you can't do it without us, you've said so yourself.
So thank you for showing the sales tactics right at the end. I think you knew that when I went quiet, that was the moment you lost me.
Thanks to this, I'm going to prove you wrong.
So again, this review is about their sign-up and introductory experience, not the program itself, which may well be great. But guys and gals, there are much cheaper ways to get there. Do your research before the call, or be quick to pull out like I did. Don't let your excitement and emotions get in the way of reality. This is a sales operation first.
Pleasant and informed advisors/trainers who are honest with their evaluation of your study.
Course content is thorough and relatively well presented. Lab environments provide a broad overview of applicable systems.
Technical support could be more collaborative when encountering an issue with lab work, but my experience is limited (one issue) so can’t be too critical.
This coursework is challenging, and despite the available support, it requires an honest and consistent approach to self-education
I was enrolled in their cyber accelerator program. They were very quick to sign me up to their programs with constant calls and follow ups. After signing up, things quietened down. There were weekly/fortnightly catchups with a student officer. There is no real technical and tutor support of the type that exists in vocational and higher education institutions. You do not connect with other students so its an isolated environment. I had no tutor and technical support for CySA+ and PenTest+. The tutor had some qualification in English and basic certifications. The course materials by ACI learning were average - some of the notes lacked detail, had weak visuals, and average explanations. The labs were professional quality in Network+, Security+, and CySA+. The PenTest+ learning material was a major disappointment.
I completed the cyber accelerator program in about 8 months and passed all the certification exams with excellent scores. I put in the dedicated effort to watch all the videos, prepare my own notes with additional supplementary learning materials, and complete all the practical work (labs). I even supplemented my studies by creating personal cybersecurity labs on the cloud and virtual machines for my own extra practical work.
I finished the last exam in mid-January and then spent a month in the job-ready program. I was advised by the CEO that job placement takes about 6-8 weeks. I have waited patiently for 6 months with no luck (no shortlists or interviews). I am very disappointed with the outcome of my dedicated efforts to upskill in cybersecurity through cyberrevolution. I primarily joined them because they marketed themselves as a dedicated job placement specialist.
My previous two reviews have been removed by Trustpilot without a good reason being provided. I understand the owners have replied to a previously posted review. My 1 star rating is largely based on the job placement experience. If and when I'm placed my review is subject to change. However, its been over 6 months and this not what I anticipated when signed up.

I enrolled in a course with Cyber Revolution based on the understanding that they would provide support and opportunities to help me secure employment after completing the course.
Unfortunately, I found that the promises made regarding job opportunities were not fulfilled. After completing the course, I did not receive the level of assistance or employment opportunities I was led to expect.
I was also disappointed to discover that, from my experience, there did not appear to be meaningful industry partnerships providing genuine pathways into employment. This was particularly frustrating because the availability of industry connections was an important factor in my decision to undertake the course.
I would recommend that anyone considering enrolling carefully research the employment outcomes, industry partnerships, and specific job-placement commitments before committing to the course. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Cyber Revolution to someone whose primary reason for enrolling is to secure employment after completing the course.
Every session I’ve had with Angel and Jason in regards to how I’m progressing, if I need help, exam prep and for little tips and tricks has been absolutely amazing and I couldn’t be happier.
I had an excellent experience using the Cyber Revolution CompTIA Network+, Security+, and CySA+ training materials. The support from Adam (CEO of Cyber Revolution), Zara, and Jason was exceptional throughout my learning journey.
I'm proud to have earned all three industry certifications, CompTIA Network+, Security+, and CySA+, on my first attempt with strong scores.
Thank you, Cyber Revolution, for your outstanding training, guidance, and support. I highly recommend your programs to anyone looking to build a successful career in cybersecurity!

I'm going to start by saying this. "This is LITERALLY the hardest thing I've ever studied. I've always considered myself a computer guy. I didn't think this was going to be easy, but I honestly thought, "I got this." But it was hard, very hard. I worked at it every day, and now it's one of the things I'm most proud of. But more importantly, I wouldn't have got through this without the help of several people at Cyber Revolution. Every week I had meetings to see how I was going, if I needed help by giving my supplements or booking in study sessions. They also helped with job applications, resumes, and even practice interviews to help me get ready. Also in that year a lot of personal things happened that made it difficult to study. Cyber Revolution was very understanding and actually went above and beyond to help me finish in any way they could, which I am beyond grateful for. Like I said, it's hard work, you get out of it what you put in. But they will do everything they can to help land that job.

Read the other reviews before committing. The exams aren't done with Cyber Revolution. If you fail them, then you need to pay again for the voucher and you only get so many. This isn't explained when signing up. I'm now doing an actual Cyber security course for less than a quarter of the cost of this course, with support. You can get an extension with Cyber Revolution; however it will cost you a lot more unlike other providers who will just do it for free. The content you're provided, you could just get online and go do the exams through pearson/Comptia. You'll save $12,000. You're better off going with TAFE and doing it online. I told them I wasnt happy with the course and they said "Nobody else has had any issue". I've completed more than a few courses but this one has been my only regret.
Also, I should mention, the content doesn't actually match up with the Pearson/Comptia exams and the support weren't actually able to support. I was hitting 90 to 95% pass rate with the mock tests (Cyber revolution) and yet this didn't help with the Pearson test. I remember seeing the Pearson test and thinking "oh no, this is way different, I'm screwed".

The study aspect of it was as they advertised and the platform was fairly decent in terms of what it offered. Managed to complete my comptia courses in under a year (finished Jan 2025) so was looking forward to breaking into cyber security.
Sadly after about four months of them trying to find me a job I was still no closer to actually getting a job in cyber security.
I was told of several job offers I was suited for and said yes to all of them, but only one ever called me back, and that was for an MSP Tech role, with a bit of Cyber Security on the side.
After another 4 months (8 months in total) of this 'job hunting', I'm now moving to Albury, and the initally advertised 'plenty of roles' and 'easily remote workable' seem like nothing more than marketing BS.
I've been working at an MSP for the last few years so have plenty of computer/networking experience, though even this is enough to get into an 'entry level' job with several 'sought after' Cyber Security qualifications.
Were I able to turn back time i definately wouldn't have wasted a year of my life and several thousand dollars on what amounts to some seemingly useless qualifications and lack of job offerings.
TL:DR
Qualifications are acheivable in a year and legit
Job offerings are almost non-existent
Update:
Despite CR commenting on this post saying they are still looking, I haven't received any follow ups since then

I would give a very positive review for Cyber Revolution. The tools you need to learn the industry is given in a platform that is easy to navigate and what I like throughout my journey is the student support who always checks on you if you are on track, gives you encouragement if there are humps along the way and will make sure you are ready to take your certifications. I am excited for their Job Ready Program! You can see that they are intentional on really helping their students land their dream cybersecurity role. :)
