Hugely expensive renewals, I managed to get the same level of policy for 1/3 the price. Not easy to cancel the policy. Never had to claim so cannot comment on that aspect.

Turn off auto renew and take out new policy
Turn off auto renew, quoted £208.00 via auto renew.
Exactly the same policy taken out via website £125.00.
Typical insurance company. cheating loyalty via auto renew.
That aside for the price and piece of mind it is a great product at the reduced price.

We would like to clarify that the lower premium shown on our website relates to a special introductory offer available to new customers during their first year of cover. As you previously benefited from this introductory discount, your renewal premium has reverted to the standard rate set by our underwriters.
We do appreciate that pricing differences at renewal can be frustrating, however this is not intended to penalise customer loyalty. The introductory discount is exclusively available for new business policies and is not applicable at renewal stage.
In regard to auto-renewal, this is an optional feature that customers are made aware of when purchasing the policy and throughout the policy term. Customers are able to opt out of auto-renewal at any time if preferred.
We are pleased to hear that you are happy with the product itself and appreciate your comments regarding the value and cover provided.

If you ride an expensive e-bike you need cover. Not just theft, consider liability and legal. What if you hit a person, their dog or a car….. you need it for piece of mind. Great prices with your introduction discount.

A good company to deal with
I have several policies with the Ripe group, for e-bikes, and boat and a band.
The test of whether your insurance means anything is when you have to claim for something.
I had to claim for an accident with my boat, and they were absolutely spot-on dealing with it. Quick resolution and full payment of my costs.
I have no problem recommending them.
