A bit Bland, little variety
Concept for sustainable food delivery is great, personal delivery service, convenience for city living. However variety of recipes and cuisine types are lacking. Also does not cater for those that like things a bit spicy now and again, or to be able to customise spice level, even if it is in the form of an add-on for 1 dish. Most dishes a bit bland on the taste.

Fresh food but lacks customisation
This was my first order with DabbaDrop and overall the quality of food my really good as everything was fresh, correctly spiced and not oily. Couple of things that I wasn't pleased with were (i) tofu: not a fan of tofu so would appreciate if I could swap it with paneer/soya; (ii) rotis: 2 rotis shall at least be part of the standard tiffin and not be an extra. Also, the rotis were not well cooked/baked as it was pretty raw.

Stay with Indian recipes
The Indian dabbas are all delicious - Delhi, Hyderabad, Goa, punjab - and even the Pakistani one is great. But the Japanese and Vietnamese ones were not as good, quite bland and dry and not worth retrying. Would suggest you try other Indian regional recipes like kerala, Bengali, rajasthani as I’m sure those will work well

I wanted to be able to support, but was disappointed
I really wanted to like it and want to support a sustainable, women-led, independent business. The food was really disappointing though. I was expecting authentic Indian flavours and spices (and heat), but the Delhi menu was lacking on all those fronts. I can see that the flavours have maybe been tailored to a non-Indian palette, and perhaps that should be made more clear so expectations can be managed. For me there wasn't enough salt, spice or heat (chilly spice). We dislike food waste, so will finish the leftovers, but it will very much be about 'getting through it', rather than looking forward to it. The cost is quite prohibitive too. For better, more 'home food' flavoured Indian food, there are better restaurants for me locally that deliver, who are also independent and more value for money. It's a shame, sorry ladies, I really really wanted to like it.

This is probably my favourite of the menus so far. Lovely spice to the potato cakes, depth to the dahl and the tofu. Delicious.

Tasty and healthy
Tasty and healthy. Well seasoned. Even though cumin was used , it was not overpowering, as in some of the indian meals. The jackfruit was not our thing, the rice did not need to be greasy.
