Always love getting pieces from the new collection, perfect fit. But just one gripe is that I feel the quality might have slipped a bit, also everything use to come in a nice box and I feel the quality of the plastic bags has dropped, I know you don’t wear the box or plastic bag but it just adds to the elevated experience, plus a few loose threads. Having said all that I will still be back for more, always love the fits.

I’ve been following Daniel Simmons for a very long time, and I’ve always admired his attention to detail, his aesthetic, and the quality standards he represents. I genuinely love his style, which is exactly why I wanted to support his brand.

To start with the positives, the ordering process is excellent. Everything is straightforward, and the delivery was surprisingly fast. No complaints whatsoever in that department.

However, there’s one major issue that I believe deserves criticism: the return and exchange policy.

I completely understand that this is an independent brand rather than a major fashion house. Running a smaller business comes with challenges, especially when shipping internationally. But if you’re selling products worldwide, including to European customers like myself in Germany, the customer experience needs to reflect that.

Paying €18 for shipping and then another €33 just to return an item is simply unreasonable by today’s standards. That’s over €50 in shipping costs alone if something doesn’t fit.

And here’s where it gets even more frustrating: if you’ve ordered the wrong size and simply want to exchange it, you’re still expected to cover the return shipping costs before receiving the replacement and having the chance to try it on.

For a fashion brand, where finding the right fit is such an essential part of shopping, this creates an unnecessarily expensive and inconvenient experience.

I’m not suggesting that a smaller brand should necessarily offer the same benefits as a billion-euro fashion house. However, even established luxury brands often provide far more convenient and customer-friendly solutions for returns and exchanges.

A premium shopping experience shouldn’t end the moment the package arrives. Customer service, flexibility, and reasonable return options are equally important parts of the overall experience.

I genuinely want this brand to succeed because I appreciate Daniel’s vision and the work he puts into his products. But I believe the international return and exchange policy needs serious reconsideration.

Great aesthetic, great ordering experience, and fast delivery — but unfortunately, a disappointing after-sales experience.

Really great, product fits amazing and everything was smooth

Fast delivery and good-quality fabric, but the shipping costs are too high. It would be nice if there were a warehouse in the EU.

The quality is insane and the comfort is honestly incredible. The construction of this Henley really stands out: the outside has a textured waffle finish, while the inside is made from incredibly soft cotton, which makes it feel amazing to wear.

The attention to detail is also impressive. The cropped length is absolutely perfect—not too short, just perfectly proportioned—and the fit overall is spot on. One of those pieces where you can genuinely feel the quality as soon as you put it on.

Lovely garment once again. Always lovely to support a kiwi abroad, especially one who makes such a keen product.

Ordered a pair of trousers which arrived quickly. I loved them but the size is too big. I would have asked for an exchange and got a size down but it’s out of stock.

The problem is why isn’t there an option for a full refund to the card used to process the payment. Why do you only offer store credit or an exchange? Seems misleading because this is not mentioned on the returns policy on the website.

I’ve emailed customer service twice, still waiting for a response. If you can’t offer an exchange for a size that fits, I’d like refund please. Order 22041370

Beautiful garments as always. I purchased Daniel’s blue and white check Japanese Cotten flannel and Colorado trousers and they fit perfectly into the rest of my wardrobe while maintaining great quality and a perfect fit

I really like the aesthetics of the brand and the material feels nice! I think the cut and fits are really well thought out. The only thing that I’m disappointed with is for the price I expect really good quality control, but as soon as I washed the flannel after 1 wear I see loose threads coming up which I had to trim off to avoid snagging.
