Growing and Learning with the Data Freelancer Program
Hello friends! Today, I want to talk about something cool: a Data Freelancer Program led by Dave Ebbelaar. I joined this group when it was very small, just two members and Dave. Now, it's transformed into an amazing professional community with over ten members all collaborating and sharing insights!
Our leader is like a skilled architect, but for knowledge. He has made a website that keeps growing with lots of information on freelancing. Dave is really open to change; he listens to our feedback carefully and adds it to the program in a smart way. Also, he includes his own experiences as he takes on bigger projects and grows as a freelancer.
Another great thing is how seriously Dave takes the weekly meetings. He’s always on time, and he doesn’t just sit back – he's actively involved and brings new ideas to the table during these meetings. This shows how dedicated he is, by ensuring the group benefits from his insights and experience.
And finally, let's not overlook the critical aspect - securing clients. I had the fortune of acquiring my first client through this program. Although it was a somewhat unconventional match, it harmonized well with my personality. Additionally, Dave is very generous and shares possible client leads with the group. It’s really about having the bravery to go for these opportunities.
The program is a great place for growth, and Dave's help is a big boost in this process!

An Amazing Guide to Getting Started with Data Science Freelancing
The transparency that Dave provides when explaining the freelancing process is unmatched. I loved how he dived into everything from client acquisition to the finance side of things. Additionally, the two hour weekly Q&A call is an amazing feature of the program. It allows you to pick Dave's brain on anything from up and coming tech, to specific questions about starting your freelancing business. Overall, the program has been great and I highly recommend it to anyone who has been interested in setting up a freelance business.
