have all I need for managing my mc server

Decided to give DatHost a chance after reading good things about their hosting service, more specifically aimed towards KZ mod for CS:GO.

It really is as easy as they say.
I rented the server, clicked a few buttons and the server was pretty much ready to go. Added the maps I wanted and changed a few config paramters to my liking and that's it. Smooth and stable server.

The feature I like the most is the ability to change the server to another game without a cost. Atleast going from CS:GO to CS2 server with the same amount of slots didn't cost me a thing, and I can switch back and forth as I wish as the server settings are archived.

Customer service response time is swift and they're very helpful as well. I had trouble getting cs2kz-metamod to work for CS2 and all it took was one email response to get it up and running.

No complaints at all.

Dathost is the best Server host. Its because you get 16 GBof ram just for 12,90. Other Server hosts charge that kind of money for just 4 GB. One time i accidentally bought 1 month to many. I asked in the help center to get a refund cause of it and they gave me all the Money back. 5 Stars

The Server is Overall good but it has way go little memory

The only flaw is the fact that it takes a long time when transferring files to the server if you do it manually, and it doesn't tell you the current status of the transfer. Otherwise it's good.

Great interface, stable, reasonable pricing. I fully recommend this Hoster.

The server ran constantly for a month, on mods without ANY kind of issue except a small lag when dimensions are involved but its a really small thing to be honest.
They also have a really good support team!

After 30+ years of gaming and renting hosted game servers, DatHost is the first provider I’ve used that consistently listens—with fast, human replies instead of automated scripts. It’s also the first host I’ve had where the service isn’t constrained by the usual CPU/RAM-based tiers.

We run very heavy mods and were close to maxing out our (still generous) storage. When I asked about upgrading the server tier, they explained that’s not how their platform works—but they did add the ability for me to increase storage as needed, which solved my problem immediately (and will likely help others too). That kind of responsiveness is rare.

The server interface is intuitive and snappy, even when uploading 24+ GB of mods. Excellent service all around—highly recommended, and I don’t see any reason to switch providers again.

Absolutely phenomenal server hosting, the customer support are extremely efficient and professional. I been using the server with 10 friends as the experience has been extremely enjoyable, definitely would recommend if you're looking for a hoster.

Had issues with setting up a Votifier due to not having a open port for it, messaged the customer support Sunday evening and by the time I woke up, everything was already set up and I was ready to setup the Votifier, W customer support!

I like the ease of setup and the lack of connection issues. I dislike the lack of games available to run servers for.

I bought a Hytale server from then on January 28th for the affordable monthly price of 13€ a month. Ever since then, my experience has been incredible and I can't even imagine moving my server to another host after giving DatHost a shot. My server is up 24/7 with no issues, players can all log on just fine with no problems, there's daily backups which are stored for 30 days, glorious performance with their Ryzen 9 CPU and 16 GB of RAM, FTP ACCESS TO THE SERVER FILES (this is peak 🔥), simple "drop a link to install the mod" type of mod installation, and, the best of all, an actual numeric server IP which I can assign to my own domain manually through DNS.
I have no words for how amazing their service is for this low of a price, and I cannot recommend any other server hosts from now on, because these guys are truly the GOAT. Props to the team, thank you for this amazing service 🫡

I've tried many Minecraft server hosts, but dathost is by far the most affordable and honest. Compared to others where every little feature costs extra money, with dathost, you pay one (really affordable) price, and that's that. The UI is great, the AI error helper is a killer feature (seriously, why don't they advertise this, it's amazing, it'll look through your logs and tell you what's going wrong and how to fix it). The modpack support is great, auto backups are amazing, performance and RAM are incredible, overall 10/10 service, could not recommend more.

I have used many hosts for various games across the years. My experience with DatHost has been above and beyond. Any issue that has come up whether my end or misunderstanding they have EVERY time made sure to do everything they can to solve it. From building a portion of a server I struggled with to even setting other stuff up. If you want a host that actually has true customer service and great running servers(I have had no issues in any games) then you need to try them!

Honestly I have no complaints other than the server having trouble handling 'vehicles' (or moving entities) like boats, elytras and modded items like brooms.
The support was great. Very kind and understanding.
The interface on the website is great, allowing you to make changes on the config files from within the server. It's all very malleable, and grants you the possibility to add files via FTP.
The amount of ram they give you is easily the best deal you'll be able to find for this price. Other website will literally push the metrics of the ram you're using so that you feel forced to spend more money in "upgrades". This site felt a lot more honest.
Just be mindful of how many people are playing in the server and loading different chunks, as well as said moving entities.
Mind you, if you're looking to make a heavily modded-"community" type of server with a lot of players, you might have to invest more money and use another server, or at that point buy a small PC and host it yourself (possibly the most worth it solution long-time).
Overall, the server offers a great deal and a way more fair one than the ones you'll find in most of the other websites.
