Came across these guys when sourcing scaffolding boards to use on a shelving project. Price seemed good and the photos appeared to be exactly what I was after. I was not disappointed. It was delivered in good time and looks great. The comms from Davids Timber was great to, letting me know the steps in delivery.

Very pleased with the product. Scaffold board type planks that were beautiful and straight with no warping. Coated well with preservative. Used them for repairing a raised bed which had rotted wood (old scaffold boards) that needed replacement.

Purchased on-line. It was easy to understand what was available and create an order. Great prices, and then easy delivery. The office called to advise delivery date, well within the expected timescale, and then messaged to advise approx time, and then driver called shortly before arrival to advise precise time. Really nice delivery guy dropped to where I wanted the timber. The timbers were good quality, dry and straight. Excellent product, price and service. Thanks.

I have bought a couple of consignments of L Oak sleepers from David's timber. One in November 2024 and a second this month. Also requested the timbers be cut to specified sizes. Super efficient, good product and friendly service. Communication with staff was great both via email and phone. Our delivery driver yesterday was great and super helpful which my elderly husband much appreciated. Highly recommend them.

Experience was very good. Wood was of good quality, was delivered on time by a polite, courteous and helpful driver.

Thank you for delivering 3m treated long hard wood sleepers. Not many companies appear to have this length of sleepers. Really pleased with the same delivered last year used as a bridge over stream.These ones just delivered will be used to make another bridge which takes the weight of a tractor and allows sheep to travel from one field to the next.
Pleased with ease of ordering and efficient delivery as well. Driver very helpful in helping to carry into barn.

An excellent service and product. Boards arrived within 2h delivery window 2 days after ordering them. I knew that it wasn’t guaranteed I can get them that fast, so I appreciate even more the effort on the sellers part. Before my purchase I went to the yard where I could see the boards and receive good advice and information.

Fantastic product and service.

I bought the treated 3.9m brown scaffold boards. I got exactly what I ordered and paid a very fair price for both the boards and delivery. The delivery was superb. The driver was as helpful as could be.

I have no hesitation in recommending David’s Timber for the quality of their product and the service provided throughout. In fact I recommended them to my brother who bought ten boards himself.
