Resolved an initial problem.
I had a problem,with the trace they did, but after being contacted by their customer services, they resolved the problem, and I am very happy with the outcome.

DebtTrace® is a automated information supply service, the information is normally highly accurate and is blended with multiple sources of data including the multiple UK Credit Agency sources with manual oversight.
We do offer this recheck facility for customers peace of mind to double check a supplied address.
Importantly - If on recheck we cannot supply an updated address and indeed the supplied address seems incorrect we will of course refund you in full so well worth rechecking if required.

Good but can do better
Have used DebtTrace many times. The delivery and cost of these Trace reports are very good although we question the accuracy of these reports and sometimes found them to be inaccurate. Furthermore, there are no option to dispute the information provided as the reports are delivered as full and final which is a shame otherwise a good service.

Many thanks for your feedback, our basic service that you have ordered before is indeed very good value (has no retrace built into the price as described throughout our website) but is full and final as this service reflects what UK credit agencies report (Experian & Equifax) for the search subjects current address. If you upgrade your search to premium although the fee is higher we offer FREE retracing with this premium service to revalidate any addresses you may need further validation on. The premium service offers this as we validate an address with manual investigation hence the higher fee. All basic traces, report, what is reflected on major UK credit agencies which is normally a very good and accurate way to trace debtors but for a 60 day retrace guarantee the premium service is the best option for you.
This explains the retrace policy further,
All Premium cases are backed up by a 60 day FREE retrace policy where if you need further confirmation of a supplied address we will supply a confirmation or revalidation free of charge for up to 60 days from the original order date. All other cases will have a retrace fee applied which can be viewed under the retrace option in our online store and below.
To keep our initial prices low all Basic & Standard tracing cases will be charged a small administration fee for rechecking a supplied report within 30 days from supply date. Retraces must be requested online via the retrace option in the online shop. Any case that exceeds 30 days will need to reorder a new trace request to validate any new information. All services that fall outside of this or after retrace has been performed are supplied as full and final reports without any guarantee or refund.

Any case that exceeds these timescales has to resubmit a new case
All non-premium cases are charged a retrace fee*

To underscore the retrace is only to revalidate the information supplied on premium cases and to reconfirm any further address data that may of become available, it will not provide a refund in any circumstance and will only be provided if the correct original order level and corresponding fee paid at the time of ordering a retrace.
All service pricing listed excludes VAT at the normal U.K. rate and VAT will be added at checkout stage.

Many thanks for your review, your case took some extra time due to the financial background information that was requested. Most financial background reports take up to 7 days to complete where as debtor address tracing takes just 24 hours normally.
I wanted to locate a family member
I wanted to locate a family member. I naively googled private investigators, having no knowledge of how these things are done, I was quoted £800 ! I'm a landlord, and whilst I've never had to trace a tenant, I knew of the service. I paid the £20 here, and got a result in one hour. Thank you.

Helped trace an ex who owes me
An ex girlfriend owes me money for which I have a CCJ. I’ve been in the process of applying for an attachment of earnings order when the court informed me she had moved from her last known address.
I instructed debt trace to track her down mid afternoon on a Friday. By lunchtime on the following Monday they had sourced an alternative address for my debtor and I’ve passed that information on to the court. Had my application not been made so close to a weekend I probably would have had a quicker result
I cannot 100% confirm myself that the information I’ve been given is accurate but it is consistent with what I know and I will happily come back to this review to further update once the court has managed to serve documents on the debtor

Simple, quick, inexpensive, effective
Having a tenant who chose not to pay any rent for 8 months, I needed to locate him after he finally left. Never having done this sort of thing before, I waited a few months and then found DebtTrace. I was a little bit wary at first as other companies charged up to £150 for what seemed to be the same service. Filled in the simple form, paid my £20 and within a few hours results came back. Solicitors successfully served papers the next day.
What a great service. Have even recommended to a friend and didn't hesitate when I needed to use DebtTrace for a second time. Simple, quick, inexpensive and effective !

Fantastic service and value for money.
I was a bit doubtful that the approx. £20 fee would be sufficient to find me my ex tenant, as other companies were charging from £150 to 500 to do the same thing.
Debt trace found my tenant and produced a report in 2 hours.
