Great products and delivery with decent prices
Sent the correct item I ordered, love the dulux heritage range of colours and the paint is lovely to use. It was the colour match and matched a velvet Matt version I’d already used very closely. Which is great seems it’s eggshell so a different finish.
Won’t hesitate to use again as was cheaper then the dulux centre down the road.
Very pleased.
Arrived when they said it would, well packaged.

Lost £200 due to a 3 days delay in delivery
We ordered about £200 of paint to redocarate our livingroom. The order was placed on Mon evening with a next day delivery option, but it only arrived on Fri due to issues with delivery. The tracking info would show the parcel due for delivered "tomorrow"; however, the parcel would not arrive, and the delivery date would shift by one more day. On Wed, one of the 4 items we had ordered arrived, but no idea what had happened to the other 3.
We were meant to leave for holidays on the Fri, and had arranged for the decorator to do the works while we were away. As the remaining items had not arrived by Thu night, and as the tracking info were so unreliable, our only option to ensure the decoration could start on time was to buy paint from a local decorating centre.
The DCO items were eventually delivered on Fri 13:00, when we had already left. One of the items was still missing.
Overall, due to a 3 days delay in the delivery, we ended up paying over £200 for paint that we will not use and can't be returned as it was color match. So far, neither DCO nor DPD has taken financial responsibility for the delay.
My recommendation is to place your order at least 1 week before (especially if you are using color match which cannot be returned) to account for situations like ours, where the parcel is lost and nobody will take responsibility for the delay.
When we notified abiut the delay, the DCO customer service has been very responsive and tried their best to chase the delivery company. However, we receiced no reply to our complain and (even partial) refund request.

Great products and service
We are so glad we found this website. Was trying to look everywhere for a small can of Dulux white trade paint, couldn’t find anything smaller than 2.5L, but we only needed it for a few little touchups on our rental. We were really happy to stumble across DCO’s website where we were able to find a 250ml can. Parcel was well-packaged and sent quickly, and the price was really fair! We are very happy with our purchase and highly recommend!

Fantastic customer service! Ordered the paint, arrived next day and was really well packaged. I ordered the Sadolin Superdec colour matched to a Farrow and Ball and the match was phenomally close to the original. Paint was very competitive in price - another store had the same for £20 more. I'll certainly be purchasing from you again.

I recently needed paint and decorating supplies for a new project and came across DCO Decor
. Before placing my order, I called the company with a few questions in mind, and the lady I spoke to on the phone was extremely energetic, professional, and genuinely helpful. She took the time to explain everything clearly and made me feel confident about ordering from them.
Even though the company is quite far from my area, my order arrived surprisingly quickly. Everything was packaged very securely and professionally, which immediately showed the level of care they put into their service.
I also want to mention the delivery driver, who was very polite, respectful, and arrived exactly on time. These days, good customer service from start to finish is rare, but this company really impressed me.
Excellent experience overall — professional service, fast delivery, great communication, and quality packaging. I will definitely be using them again for future projects and highly recommend them to others.

I have bought paint from dco for a few…
I have bought paint from dco for a few years and I would never dream of going elsewhere. Any project that has some challenges, I will contact Helen and she always responds and gives great advice! The service they provide is amazing and I would always advise friends and family to shop with them, I only wish I lived close to the shop!
Whatever the project or potential issue there will be a solution and advice from them! On top of that the paint is always great quality and delivered very quickly.

Two failed orders and insulted by staff—Avoid.
Simply Awful.
I am currently in the process of renovating my home and as such have bought gallons of differing paints from several retailers.
Decorating Centre Online is THE WORST.
I have placed three orders in total with them and it’s been a catalogue of errors from them with several insults thrown in my customer services when I called them.
1st Order - Fine no issues.
2nd Order - ALL THREE tins of different colours were contaminated with a black powder meaning it left marks all over the wall so had to abandon painting.
When I spoke to customer services they were quite frankly insulting and questioning my competence, insinuating that I had caused this and that I was painting the walls from the tins directly. Something that is literally impossible.
They refunded me, eventually and after much chasing up and sending of photos, and gave me store credit.
I then used the store credit to place one final order.
3rd Order - TOTAL INCOMPETENCE!
They’ve sent THE WRONG COLOUR TINT!
They sent a deep shade mixed into a 'Light Base,' which is a fundamental technical error that any professional paint supplier should know is impossible to match!
To top things off the paint was delivered on a Friday for me to use over the weekend.
The error was spotted on a Saturday and because they’re closed over the weekend I cannot resolve the issue.
Weekend painting WASTED.
Genuinely for the love of god, don’t buy from the Decorating Centre Online.
Buy from Chapel etc, I wish I had done!
UPDATE:
After speaking to the owner.
They offered a refund and advised me to shop elsewhere.

We’re really sorry to hear you’re unhappy with your experience, this certainly isn’t the standard we aim for.
Regarding the initial concern, from the images provided we could see small traces of pigment within the tin. While all of our paints are thoroughly machine-shaken before dispatch, it’s always best practice to stir the paint and pour it into a tray or kettle before use, as pigment can naturally settle or cling to the sides of the tin. This was suggested purely to help with application and achieve the best finish.
We did our best to resolve this quickly for you by issuing refunds on the tins where images were provided, and offering a store credit for the additional tin, which we’re glad you were happy to accept at the time.
In terms of the replacement tin, due to ongoing supply issues with Dulux Heritage this year, we were unable to source the original base. Rather than delay your order further, we used an alternative Dulux-approved base, tinted via their system to an “excellent” match for Maritime Teal. This is a standard process supported by Dulux and ensures colour consistency as closely as possible.
Our intention throughout was to resolve the issue promptly and avoid any further disruption to your project, and we’re sorry this hasn’t met your expectations on this occasion.
