Deep Atlas is great for anybody who wants an intense, focused introduction to machine learning. The course material is well-graded and the progressive nature of the curriculum will help you skill up quickly.

Pros: Deep Atlas is an excellent program designed to toss the unsuspecting into solving practical ML problems and learning about overall ML approaches. It lasts a fortnight and is a great start to becoming an MLE or launching one's own ML projects. The program really shines on the practical learning aspects and ramps students up rather quickly.

With a fast pace amid long hours, the full time length of only 2 weeks likely makes it a palatable option for those who can take time off from their day jobs or other projects while making decent inroads into ML. (Productivity and efficiency are maximized each day). The instructors, TAs, & operations gurus are pretty kind and really motivated to encourage success; they take the time to help out and explain. The student population are from diverse backgrounds (in purely the tech and non tech sense), which is really refreshing.

Cons: eh, I didn't really experience any beyond wishing that the program would not end. It's actually fun and makes a nice change from other courses' slogs through the purely theoretical.

Deep Atlas is an incredibly fun and productive tour through the foundations of AI. In two weeks I went through a portal to the future; I can now build incredible things with the most novel and powerful new technology since the personal computer. 15/10 do it now.

One of the most productive 2 weeks of learning I've had since leaving formal schooling. We learned, did exercises and small projects for, and could get follow up time to clarify questions about shallow learning methods (linear and logistic regression, random forests, clustering algorithms), deep learning methods (neural networks), and got a thorough introduction to transformer models and time and instruction to build our own RAG and LLM agent implementations. I learned a lot by both doing and following well-prepared lectures and highly recommend this to anyone who wants to get a thorough walkthrough of the latest in AI/ML with instructors who actually care that you learn and will push you to do so.

You will definitely go from zero to learning most of the fundamental and new ML/AI techniques used today.
A LOT of content is provided in those two weeks, I would have not been able to bootstrap my knowledge in that short time on my own.

The instructors at deepatlas do a great job of helping you visualize how these Machine Learning algorithms see the data to be able to make sense of linear world problems as well as non linear. After having taken the course you get a better understanding of other ML books and genuine feel like you can continue to move forward in your learning journey. The hands on lab assignments are challenging and you learn well from them.

Comprehensive curriculum, careful and empathetic instruction, and practical coursework in a supportive environment; pretty much ideal conditions for learning.

It is difficult to envision a more optimal program for learning the fundamentals of AI & ML in only a month. Deep Atlas gives you the building blocks and basic compass you need to understand how to build new models and work with existing ones. You will be able to understand a good deal of industry lingo and what is being built on the cutting edge today.

The most remarkable aspect of the program, however, is the people involved. The instructors are brilliant, bringing great enthusiasm and nuance to very dense subject matter, and the attendees are bright and motivated. Deep Atlas is a deeply experience for everyone who loves learning new concepts on the cutting edge in a positive and intellectually stimulating environment.

Before Deep Atlas, I felt left behind in the AI/ML world. I’d tried other resources, but they were heavy on lecture and light on hands-on work, so the concepts didn’t really stick.

I was even considering taking a sabbatical from work to find the right learning experience. Then I found Deep Atlas, which was perfect: just two weeks off work, with some prep beforehand. Their approach was exactly what I needed – we’d dive into deep discussions on neural network architecture, then jump straight into training models. It felt surreal to go from zero to confidently building and deploying models in such a short time.

The entire program was incredibly well-planned and executed. Every detail felt intentional, and I was lucky to have an amazing group of classmates and top-notch instructors who made complex ideas actually relatable. They demystified many core innerworkings of ML and AI. I had a great time along the way and learned much more than I thought possible. This is the thing I was looking for. I'd previously done Andrew Ng's "Neural Networks & Deep Learning" class and his "Intro to ML" on Coursera, watched a bunch of 3B1B videos, and completed random tutorials on the internet. All of this left me feeling like I knew a lot about a little and didn't really know how to navigate the world of ML or what to do next. Deep Atlas is several times more practical than any of that, and I completed the course feeling like I had a solid foundation to build on. I'm now hooked—I spend every free minute on Kaggle and Colabs

To me, the secret sauce seems to be is a very carefully tailored curriculum together with a no-man-left-behind instructional style holds your hand and wipes your tears as you walk steadily from a 30k-foot view of shallow learning to understanding the seminal Attention-is-all-you-need paper in enough detail to read followup research and actually understand it.

The course is very well structured and tailor made for working professionals from all backgrounds.
