I love learning with Delicious Korean (DK)! It provides great results with much fun. At my own pace, I practice and watch videos weekly to learn new words, phrases and sentences. The videos also review past lessons so that I maintain what I learn. The highlight of my week is meeting with my very knowledgeable, encouraging coach at a time/day that works for me. We have so much fun every week practicing new words and having real conversations in Korean. My coach is so helpful with any questions I have too. I also get to join DK's community of learners to share experiences, participate in challenges, play language games like hang man and do other creative activities. Delicious Korean is so awesome and enhances my language journey immensely!!! And when you travel to Korea, you get to meet the DK team live. I love DK and you will too!!!

Delicious Korean really made learning Korean easy, fun and stressless. Content is easy to access, is well paced and can be tailored to fit in with my busy life schedule. 1 to 1 sessions with my coach are engaging, personalised, fun and relaxing. I was worried about not performing well for the session, but it is tailored to suit my needs, my questions and my abilities. I progress every week and my coach is very professional, friendly and complimentary. We have a great relationship and she's so kind and really helped me settle and feel at ease. The team are always on hand to answer any question or query, and so prompt to sort out any potential issue that may occur. There is also a whole community of learners with whom you can interact, chat and ask questions of. The DK team are always developing more content, and ideas to help us learn and they always listen to our suggestions, so it is a programme built for the enjoyement and success of its learners. I have been learning with DK for 1.5 yrs now and it has been totally worth it, as I was comfortable to use the Korean I had learned, on a recent trip to Korea and able to communicate and be understood. If you are on the fence about it, I say, give it a try. You won't be disappointed.

Delicious Korean is an excellent online platform for learning Korean conversation, especially for a busy person in work and home, like me, with limited time. It strikes an ideal balance: just enough high-quality content and personalized coaching without overwhelming my schedule. The coaching makes practice feel natural and active feedback helps me direct my learning on what I want to achieve on the next session(s).

Their price is reasonable and their technique for teaching Korean is very easy to follow. It has been quite an enjoyable process.

Two years ago, I decided I wanted to learn to speak Korean after I was inadvertently introduced to K-Pop. Scrolling through YouTube, I found a music video by Stray Kids, and got hooked. I was 74 years old at the time, and had never learned a foreign language. After two years of trying to use on-line language learning apps, printed curriculum, and YouTube videos, I was about to give up. The traditional methods, especially the amount of memorization required, just didn't work for me. And it was NOT fun! Then I found the 'Learn Korean Like A Baby' series on YouTube! From the very first lesson I realized that the comprehensible input method made so much sense... I had wanted to ACQUIRE the language, just like did my native language, not struggle like I had been the past two years, and that is exactly what the Delicious Korean curruculum is designed to do. They also offer excellent support for their students. You can reach out anytime with questions or concerns, and the staff is always ready with help and support. One of my favorite parts of the program is the weekly tutoring sessions with a native Korean speaker. It is amazing how much this has improved my ability to understand the spoken language. And because of my tutor, my speaking ability is improving much more quickly than before. If I hadn't found Delicious Korean, I'm sure I would have just given up on my dream of learning to speak Korean. If that is your dream, too, I encourage you to contact Delicious Korean. In all of my years I've done lots of fun and interesting things, and I can honestly say that learning to speak Korean with Delicious Korean is one of the most enjoyable and enriching pursuits of my life.

Joining this community, I wasn't too sure what to expect or what I'd learn. I was a bit intimidated by learning something new and the unknown. My first class, I immediately felt at-ease because my instructor made me feel comfortable in making mistakes, but also learning from them. The classes are amazing and I continue to learn so much. The material is great too. Immediately, you start to understand the material and you learn at your own pace. I don't recommend taking any breaks in between, as I have done so, but if you are to take breaks because of personal reasons or vacations, I'd recommend continuing this journey while on vacation so you don't lost your flow of learning.
Also, the Delicious Korean staff are all friendly, amazing, and very accommodating.

I am thrilled to share my experience with Delicious Korean School! I have been taking classes for a year and a half now, and I am extremely satisfied. My coach is amazing, and the courses are wonderfully structured. What I love most is that the sessions are not just about learning the language. For me, Delicious Korean has been an excellent experience. I truly appreciate all the materials provided for both pre-class and post-class, as they are very didactic and support the learning process.

Before joining DK, I had started learning at another school in my country with a very traditional method, where we focused on grammar but had little interaction or opportunities to practice and receive feedback. That’s why I find this method very practical and complementary. In addition, since the classes are one-on-one, you don’t have to wait for your turn to participate—you are constantly interacting.

What also makes a big difference is the kindness and support from the DK team and the teachers (I don’t have enough words to express my gratitude to my teacher). They create a comfortable environment where you’re not afraid to make mistakes—not once, not twice, but even twenty times—and that is essential when learning a new language.

Another aspect that helped me a lot was a period where we focused more on speaking. I don’t remember exactly how long it lasted (it was a little over a month), but it really helped me build confidence and lose the fear of making mistakes, which is something many learners struggle with.

I also try to go beyond the classes by watching the videos, which reinforces the learning process. Overall, I think the methodology is very effective.

From my personal experience, I understand that everyone has different learning styles and rhythms. In my case, I believe it could be helpful to combine structured classes with dedicated conversation periods. For example, taking regular classes for two months and then focusing one month on conversation-only classes to reinforce what was learned in the previous two months. I know this approach might seem slower to some, but after trying it, I can say that it works well for me.

I’ve been following the DK language program since October 2024, and I have never once regretted starting it.

What really stands out is how the program is structured in a way that makes learning Korean actually feel easy. The learning process is completely stress-free, which has made it much easier to stay consistent and motivated over time. The program offers both instructional videos and written materials, giving you flexibility in how you learn.

At times, I like to supplement with additional resources, especially because I personally enjoy diving deeper into grammar, which isn’t always explained explicitly in the DK lectures. That said, this has never been a problem, there is always support available in the forum. Both fellow students and coaches are active and ready to answer any questions you might have.

I’ve had two different coaches during my time in the program, and I’ve been extremely happy with both. They are incredibly kind, supportive, and genuinely care about their students’ progress.
I’ve even had the opportunity to meet my current coach in person when I visited Korea this spring, as well as a member of the DK leadership team. It was such a special experience to meet face-to-face after only communicating through Zoom. It made the whole learning journey feel much more personal, like you’re connecting with friends, not just coaches. Building relationships with students truly feels like a core part of the DK program, and it’s 100% a positive experience.

The DK team and leadership are very approachable, friendly, and helpful. It truly feels like they are working around the clock for their students, constantly developing new materials and methods to make the learning process not only easier, but also more enjoyable.

It’s important to note that the DK program follows a slow-paced approach. This means that learning happens gradually. Slow doesn’t mean boring! There is definately plenty to learn, but if your goal is to become fluent within a year, this might not be the right program for you. (but I don't think there is any program that can help you become fluent within a year). The focus of DK lectures is on helping you become comfortable speaking early on, using simple words and everyday sentences, and then gradually building on that foundation with new vocabulary and grammatical structures. If you feel the pace is too slow for you, I’m confident that the DK team will find a solution that allows you to learn at a speed that suits your lifestyle and goal! They are incredibly accommodating and solution-oriented!
For me, the pace has been perfect. I’m learning Korean as a hobby alongside a full-time job and family life, and the slower tempo helps reduce stress. More importantly, it allows me to actually retain what I learn.

All in all, I’m extremely satisfied with the DK program, my coach, and the DK leadership team. I have no hesitation in warmly recommending the program to anyone who is considering learning Korean.

Un professeur est désigné selon notre profil et nos attentes et souvent celà se passe très bien. La méthode d'apprentissage est accessible à tous (on peut commencer de zéro)et les supports sont assez ludiques. Même si je ne maîtrise pas du tout l'anglais, j'arrive à communiquer avec mon professeur pendant les cours et nous allons à notre rythme. Il y a la possibilité de choisir la durée et la fréquence des cours, ce qui est intéressant lorsqu'on travaille. La communauté et l'équipe de DK sont adorables et disponibles. J'ai eu l'occasion de rencontrer certains membres de l'équipe en Corée, un vrai coup de coeur. Le plus important dans cette aventure de l'apprentissage du coréen, c'est la patience et sans vous en rendre compte les progrès viendront.

First of all, Delicious Korean is a community made up of teachers and learners from all over the world. A teacher is assigned based on your profile and expectations, and it usually works out very well. The learning method is accessible to everyone (you can start from scratch), and the materials are quite engaging. Even though I don't speak any English, I manage to communicate with my teacher during lessons, and we progress at our own pace. You can choose the duration and frequency of lessons, which is great when you're working. The community and the DK team are lovely and always available. I had the opportunity to meet some team members in Korea, and it was a real highlight. The most important thing in this Korean learning adventure is patience, and before you know it, you'll be making progress.

It is easy to start. Other courses were to difficult for me that have no time for homework. The videos are easy, fun and entertaining. You just find yourself learning without any effort. But I recommend to do some homework and challenges, and write by hand. I did not have time but learned anyway. I was not a complete beginner and they took time to find the right level for me to begin. And I have few hours free for a personal teacher, but they found great teachers and a time that fit me even with the big time difference. And they found time to meet me in Korea.

I’ve been studying with Delicious Korean for a year now, and honestly, I can’t believe how fast the time has gone.

Before finding this course, I had tried other methods, but none of them truly worked for me. When I first watched the introductory video, something just clicked. As a secondary school Spanish teacher, I know exactly where students struggle. Writing in a new language can feel overwhelming, and what we really need—especially in real life—is confidence in speaking (and maybe some reading too).

The idea of learning like a baby felt so refreshing and natural that I decided to trust the process—and it has gone far beyond anything I expected.

If you’re unsure, I completely understand—I was there too. But as a language teacher myself, I can honestly say this method works.

My Korean learning experience started in March 2024 and I've learned Korean so easily. I grew up learning English and Arabic so learning Korean as though I was a baby again came super easy to me.
During my lessons, my coach allows me to think and learn Korean so easily. Our conversations are like those every-day conversations you would have with friends and family.

My first experience with DK was through short vocabulary videos on Instagram. I enrolled in a workshop to learn more about the program and decided to give it a try. That was 18 months ago. I thought the chapters were well constructed, the progression steady and intuitive, and what really sold me was the combined 1:1 sessions. From week one, you barely know a few expressions and yet you’re encouraged to speak and have conversations with a native speaker. Such a confidence booster!

I’m currently at a pre‑intermediate level and have switched a few months ago to a twice‑a‑week 1:1 session option with my current coach. Our sessions are tailored to my preferences — we do half spontaneous conversation and half class‑based reinforcement practice. My coach goes along with the way I learn, and over time - just like my former coach - has also become a really good friend of mine. We end up laughing so much every single time we meet!

Another thing I truly appreciate is how attentive the DK team is. They read every single 1:1 session feedback and respond to every suggestion. I once mentioned that I wished there were a twice‑a‑week meeting option — and they actually made it happen. And if you ever need to contact them, they reply as quickly as possible, even with the time‑zone difference.

I have been learning Korean for about 1.5 years now with Delicious Korean, and I have really enjoyed my learning journey so far. The lessons are clear, well-structured, and easy to follow, which makes learning enjoyable even as a long-term beginner.
One important thing about Delicious Korean is that you start speaking Korean from day one without spending too much time only on grammar at the beginning. Although grammar points are still covered in every lesson as we progress, the focus on speaking early really helps build confidence and practical communication skills.
Another thing I really appreciate is my coach’s teaching style. The repetitive approach used in lessons really helps me understand and remember the language better. It gives me more confidence because I can review and practice the same expressions until I fully understand them.
I also really appreciate that I get the opportunity to connect with other learners from different countries. It is nice to make new friends and take part in group chats where we can share our learning experiences and support each other.
I also really value the 24-hour support that is always available. Whenever I have a question, I receive quick and helpful responses, which makes learning much easier and more comfortable. The team always replies fast and supports me whenever I need help.
Over this time, I have noticed a noticeable improvement in my Korean skills, especially in vocabulary, grammar, listening, and sentence building. I now feel more confident when reading Korean and easily understand short conversations.

I’ve been with Delicious Korean (DK) from the early stages of their program. I wanted to learn Korean but didn’t know where to start. I wanted many teachers and felt this program was a good match because it started off with basic words and phrases which allowed me to start speaking Korean aloud (not in my head which was still incorrect). Four points that make this program one you must try.

First - the program includes a video library the DK team works to update and expand. The videos are engaging and easy to follow with real people not AI. You have access to the entire video library up to the point you are a current participant. So I can go back and watch prior videos as often as I want. The videos can be done once a day on 15-20 minutes which makes it easy to fit into a busy schedule. Then a review of the videos for an applicable lesson can be done before I meet with my coach.

Second, the DK team has great customer service! They are responsive to emails with reminders for upcoming coaching sessions, renewal notices and updates in the community created in the Kajabi app. Rescheduling a 1:1 session is super easy and the team and coaches work with you to find your best possible next session.

Third, the thriving community of fellow Korean learners in Kajabi where the DK team and coaches all participate with questions, program updates, personal life updates, Korean language challenges, etc.! You can get to know people from around the world.

Finally, the great coaches who you actually speak Korean with during your weekly calls are the icing on the DK cake to me. My native Korean coach, Hyeonji (현지), is amazing. She is a great communicator, patient, and a wonderful cheerleader! She shares how the words and situations happen in real life in Korea when I’m having trouble understanding. She encourages me to study and practice talking Korean regularly.

I may not be super fluent but I am way ahead from where I started in speaking than trying to do learn Korean by myself.

I recommend you try it because of the relatable program content, high quality customer service, welcoming and thriving community and the great coaches who want to see you reach your Korean learning goals.
