My regular dentist left the practice. Up to then I just put up with the rude reception staff. However, the dentists I've had since are plain rude. I had an appointment today and as I was trying to explain why I was there, the dentist started to get annoyed with me for no reason. I told him I didn't like his attitude and wouldn't be returning. He shouted "I don't like your attitude!" I need to find a new dentist.

I attended my examination, paid the required fee, and was booked for follow-up treatment (a filling) as a direct result. However, due to repeated staff booking errors, my appointments were messed up and eventually cancelled. Instead of fixing their mistakes, the practice chose to blame me, hide behind policy, and remove me from care.

I was told I had missed multiple appointments, then later admitted that one was a staff error — yet they still refused to correct my records properly. Despite claiming I had reached their missed-appointment limit, they still saw me, treated me, and booked further care, only to later enforce the rule retrospectively. This is inconsistent and unfair.

Communication was appalling:

Calls not returned

Conflicting information from reception

No proper apology

No accountability

To make matters worse, I was pushed toward private treatment without clear explanation and quietly placed into private booking. This felt deceptive and money-driven.

After all of this, I was told I would need to pay for another check-up because of their own administrative failures. Management responses were defensive, dismissive, and showed no interest in resolving the issue fairly.

If you use this practice, keep written proof of everything and double-check every booking. Their mistakes will be used against you.

I would not recommend this practice to anyone.

Have been going for a number of years, the hygienist is good and very friendly. Unfortunately on my most recent visit I got double charged for one appointment. Rather than a simple fix, it's taken over 5+ phone calls from me to chase and get it resolved. This was over a month ago and I am still waiting on a refund, Clapham South have also tried to pass all responsibility onto their bank and have offered no apology or gesture of good will. Very disappointing experience all round, would not recommend.

I’m really surprised by all the negative reviews. I’ve been a patient here for almost 4 years, and have always experienced the best care. I’ve seen the same dentist every time, Sarah, who I now really trust with her advice about my teeth. I’m always given the price options before deciding on my treatment. The reception team have been nothing but friendly and very helpful since I’ve been a patient here.

Very rude service. Got 2 people booked at the same time, had to wait for hours, on the next appointment, turned out I was not booked at all while we spoke on phone!

really bad dental practice, I am now changing practice as a result of the incompetency, rudeness & argumentative nature of reception & support staff. Countless times i have been booked in for wrong appointments resulted in wasted time and money, only to be told by the dentist they are not sure why i have been booked in with them in particular. the booking process & confirmation is inconsistent, resulting in a lot of follow up and admin on behalf of the patient. reception staff are rude and not willing to listen or work with you on resolving simple issues, and unable to answer simple questions, and then become argumentative.

Awful place. Not a problem with the actual dentist but it's the reception staff. Just like previous review I read and agree. Staff look down their nose at you. Very unprofessional for example booking appointment on phone for one day later. Arrive and told not only no appointments booked but wench joy actually claimed she never even spoke to me. When I offered to give the surgery a copy of the recorded call I was asked to leave the surgery and find another dentist if I didn't like the attitude. A Good this place

Awful! If I could give this place -100 I would! Completely rude, refuse to give a dental plan with a price. When questioned by email I got a letter banning us from the practice and go elsewhere.
All because I requested a plan for the full price?
It is the law!
Clearly wrong doing going on so check what your being charged!
DO NOT USE THIS PRACTICE!!

This will obviously be reported to the relevant authorities.
