We visited Gateshead Designer Sofas at the start of a busy bank holiday weekend. The showroom was well presented and easy to see the furniture. Marc M was available to chat to without being pushy. We found him friendly, approachable and knowledgable. He realy helped us to make our decision and place our order. Looking forward to seeing our new sofas in our home.

We ordered a new sofa on the 4th January (Uddingston) with an expected delivery of March/April. I popped into the shop in March to ask for a sample of the leather we ordered to help with decoration of our living room (luckily we did) as the sofa ordered was a completely different colour the the one we had chosen.

Turns out the paperwork was missing details etc, and the sales assistant admitted fault on the day.

I was advised to email my concerns across to the manager, and I received a call back from him asking if I would accept the sofa as it was a different leather and not a different colour which I challenged as I had only been in the shop 1 day earlier and seen the difference in colour with my own eyes.

Fast forward a few phone calls, it was agreed that I would receive a refund as the company were at fault, and I was happy to move on from this.

5 months after ordering and 8 weeks since raising the issue I still have not received a penny of my money back!

I would not recommend this company!

We came in looking for dining table and chairs with a sideboard and Shaz was more than willing and able to guide us through the different options in designs and fabric choices. She was excellent with her advice and guided us into making our decision.

Liam at the Uddingston store was fantastic at arranging our sofa purchase. 100% recommend.
