My experience was great the staff were so on to it and extremely nice I’m looking forward for my next upcoming surgery with them. Honestly made me feel so comfortable and my results are looking greater than I expected thank you destination beauty

I was worried going on my own from New Zealand, but honestly everything is so well organised and everyone is so friendly. Highly recommend and would go back again.

Everything was pre-arranged, all went to plan and very well organized. Terrific results all round. Staff at the hospital ,hotel and the clinics were so professional as well.

I thought the process was good and thorough. Staff were nice and polite. Bus service great. My only complaint was the lack of staff in Destination Beauty and at the hospital that did not speak English. Language barrier was very hard to relate to nurses and problems or needs that I required.

I felt like I was treated like royalty from the moment I was picked up from the airport to the time I was returned. The staff at DB were so helpful and kind. I think a little overworked. This wasn’t my first encounter with DB I have been a support person for my daughter over the past couple of years until I finally decided to do something for myself. I think this time around there were an awful number of patients compared to having the staff to handle a lot of their enquires. I personally didn’t have any trouble but I could see some frustrations with other people and sadly they all talk and sometimes nice things aren’t said. I always said “trust the process” these people know what they are doing.
The staff at the hotel were excellent the nursing team at the hospital were just exceptional and my doctor was lovely. I’ve even had communication with DB since I’ve been home and their response was fast efficient and knowledgeable.
I would highly recommend DB and already have 3 people making contact to have procedures done.

The DB team are lovely. Laticha kept me sane. The hospital staff are gorgeous and helpful and gentle and kind and the hospital itself is great.
The hotel is fine. I wouldn’t say 4 stars? Maybe a decade ago.

The lady who did it was so sweet and professional! I highly recommend this spa to anyone.

My experience with Destination Beauty for my gastric sleeve surgery exceeded all of my expectations. As someone travelling overseas alone, I was naturally a little nervous, but from the moment I arrived, I felt supported, safe, and well looked after. The team was easy to locate at the airport, and all transfers were organised seamlessly, making the entire journey stress-free. The hotel was comfortable and conveniently located, with the Destination Beauty office situated right next door, which made it easy to access support and assistance whenever I needed it.

A special mention must go to Chanhom, who was my main point of contact throughout the process. She was truly exceptional and played a huge role in making my experience so positive. Chanhom went above and beyond every day to ensure I was comfortable, informed, and settled. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and her kindness, warmth, and genuine care helped ease any anxieties I had about travelling and undergoing surgery on my own. She checked in regularly, answered all of my questions promptly, and made me feel valued and supported throughout my journey.

The hospital experience was equally impressive. From admission through to discharge, the staff were professional, compassionate, and attentive. I always felt that my wellbeing was their priority. Despite being in a foreign country, I never felt alone or unsupported. The nursing and medical teams were excellent, and there were many thoughtful touches and little extras that made my stay more comfortable and enjoyable than I had anticipated.

The entire process was well organised, transparent, and efficient. Every step was clearly explained, and I felt fully informed about what to expect before, during, and after surgery. This level of communication and support gave me confidence and peace of mind throughout the experience.

Looking back, choosing Destination Beauty was one of the best decisions I could have made. The quality of care, organisation, accommodation, hospital experience, and ongoing support were all exceptional. I am incredibly grateful to Chanhom and the entire Destination Beauty team for making what could have been a daunting experience feel easy, comfortable, and positive. I would highly recommend Destination Beauty to anyone considering gastric sleeve surgery overseas and would not hesitate to use their services again in the future.

I saved over $60k AUD by choosing Destination Beauty over local Australian surgeons. Even with the cost of the hotel, I paid $36k compared to the $100k+ quotes I received back home. Using my super to fund the surgery was a straightforward process, and DB made the logistics "full steam ahead."
From the seamless airport pickup to the friendly hotel staff and the dedicated nursing team located right outside the hotel, I felt supported throughout. The process is very well-organized; I always knew where to go and who to see. My advice to others: bring a support person if you are having multiple procedures, and keep moving! I struggled with frozen shoulders because I was too scared to move my arms—listen to the aftercare advice and keep that protein intake up. I’m already booked to return in July and feel completely comfortable going back to a team I trust.

From airport pick-up to drop-off on the way home, the team were responsive, caring and reassuring every step of the way. Like most people, I was wary about having surgery overseas, especially as I chose to travel alone without a support person. In hindsight, I can honestly say I had one of the best “holidays” I’ve ever had.

I won’t downplay the pain of the first few days of surgery recovery, but what I will remember most are the friendships I made with other patients and the relaxing stay at the hotel after leaving hospital. The hotel staff were amazing, and the DB team stayed in constant contact to check on my wellbeing.

Having the clinic onsite at the hotel three days a week was incredibly reassuring, and the afternoon teas on alternate days were a lovely way to bring patients together.

I felt cared for, supported and never alone. I’m so glad I chose Destination Beauty.

The Somerset Park Hotel in Bangkok (where all their patients stay), pre and post-surgery is perfectly located to health spas, great cafes and high quality restaurants etc., are all within short walking distances.

Destination Beauty offer free bus shuttle service 24/7 to and from the airport and for all hospital visits for pre and post-operation procedures and reviews.

Once in hospital, the nursing staff are professional, diligent and ensure that your pain management is well-looked after.

The only issue that stopped me from giving them 5 stars is the poor English of the hospital Thai nursing staff! They often imply that they understand what you want and your needs (because they’re so polite), but the language barrier, I believe, is a real issue and caused many other patients a negative experience. The most worrisome part of both my surgeries came from being in the ICU, post-op. No 1:1 patient care, inadequate staff ratio and the nurses struggled with even the most basic English translations!

This is my second cosmetic surgery in 18 months and I would still highly recommend using Destination Beauty for the overall experience, professionalism, skill of my surgeon and value for money!
