So easy to order and select an appropriate delivery day. There is plenty to choose from for a variety of tastes and budgets. I sent this one all the way to Yorkshire for Father's Day and it arrived in great condition. I was informed that every aspect was delicious.

The speed of delivery and arriving in the promised timeframe was spot on. This was a father's day gift as Devon Heaven is a firm favourite of my parents, and I knew he would love it - as always, it brought a lot of joy to both of them. This is always a thoughtful choice of gift as it really shows you care. The quality is second to none and never disappoints.

The hamper arrived on time BUT the packaging tape was hanging off the parcel which meant the parcel was upside down to prevent items falling out of the box. Each individual package of food was placed inside a chiller bag BUT each item was warm and the ice packs had melted which worried me about the freshness of the fridge items.
We decided to take the chance and eat the food which was delicious and we didn't have any repercussions.
It was just a shame to have this worry about a special gift for Fathers day

I have purchased many hampers from Devon Heavon for my family in England. Each time the hampers have been of great quality, beautifully packed and the food really lovely. I would order from them again definately!

The hamper was very well packaged and the contents really delicious. My Dad enjoyed the additional pasty - a lovely touch! It was delivered on time and it was really enjoyed as a special Father’s Day treat. The reduction in delivery price for a weekday delivery was very welcome. Thank you!

After ordering various items for my parents, who are both over 80, I later discovered that the scones had been left out of the order. I initially asked the company to send the scones a week later, and they agreed. However, I then found out that there was no use‑by date on the clotted cream. According to the website, the cream is made fresh daily and should be consumed within 3–4 days of manufacture.

On further probing the customer service representative seemed oblivious to the health risk of elderly people eating cream that would be 5 or 6 days past its recommended consumption window. Online resources confirm the health and safety risks and indicated the cream should be thrown away.

I therefore postponed the order for a few weeks and told my parents to buy some scones from the supermarket and eat the cream with those instead. I also asked Devon Heaven to include some fresh cream as a gesture of goodwill with the new batch of scones. The order arrived on Friday, but there was no cream included with the scones. Because of the heatwave, my parents were unable to leave the house, so they couldn’t go to the supermarket. As a result, they had to eat the scones without any clotted cream.

In short, Devon Heaven markets itself as a premium brand, yet they advised that it was acceptable for pensioners to consume expired cream. On top of that, they couldn’t even provide a single pot of cream as a goodwill gesture.

Update following Devon Heaven's reply: In no way does their response address the issues raised in my review.

Firstly, no cream was included in the order delivered on 25 June despite the reply above saying otherwise. Just for clarification. (My original review stated 'The order arrived on Friday, but there was no cream included with the scones.')

Secondly, Devon Heaven now states that the cream remains suitable for use within a 4–5 day timeframe. However, in previous correspondence they indicated a 10-day window despite the potential health risks. This inconsistency raises further concerns about the accuracy of the information being provided to customers.

Their reply does not resolve the key issues I highlighted and instead introduces additional contradictions. I will be contacting Devon Trading Standards to seek clarification and guidance regarding this matter, as I have been unable to obtain a clear and consistent explanation from the company.

I can see most reviews are good. Sadly mine isn't. I ordered multiple items to make up a Father's Day celebration of afternoon tea and prosecco. The prosecco didn't arrive along with another out of stock drink. No communication. No substitution. In fact nothing until I told them what had happened. When you send a gift the recipient doesn't know what was ordered. But a photo of my father with his gift showed what was missing. I can't help but feel dubious about this. I felt cheated and so sorry for them. They are very aged. Then no apology. Prosecco sent. Refund made. Devon Heaven do not seem to understand the whole sentiment of the gift was spoilt. So if you order from this site only order hampers completed not separate items as the items of value in my experience dubiously went astray

Very easy to order and just the right size for a gift for one. Nice that it included sweet and savoury items. The recipient was very pleased.

If you looking for a gluten free cream tea then you won’t get better quality than a Devon Heaven cream tea.
Over the years I’ve tried other suppliers for gluten free cream teas, however none are as good as the gluten free cream tea from Devon Heaven in my opinion.

So disappointed with this company. My daughter bought the cream tea for her Dad for Father's Day. All 4 scones had mould growing on them. When she asked for a refund she was given £2.99 and told that as the rest of the hamper was ok this was all she was entitled to. Bearing in mind the scone is the integral part of a cream tea, the Father's Day gift was useless. She pointed this out but was told £2.99 was all she was entitled to - from a gift costing over £20. Not good enough!

This is second time ive bought from you, it was delious. Scones, cream, jam tea all A1. Aririved on time, and easy to order and was so fresh. Will buy again very soon.

Despite my omission on the order, the team contacted me immediately and sorted it out.
Judging by my friend’s delighted reaction to her gift, Devon Heaven came up trumps.
