Utterly useless Diners App
I am experiencing all the same problems as the other Diners club App users who gave one star are experiencing. Despite the tips and help from Customer service you cannot even register on this App. Previously we had access for basic viewing of transactions and then it blocked us for no reason. Now we cannot register on this App. As a Diners club member for more than 30 years we never had a problem with the Diners internet access on our laptop and Desktop. Then we were forced to switch to an App which does not function. Diners is the only financial institution in the world which does not give access to internet banking, shame on you guys. Atleast reinstate access to accounts and statements as before on the Diners webpage instead of solely on this antiquated and impotent phone App.

Good luck filing a dispute with Diners Club
I've been a Diners Card holder since 1999. I have an issue with a $624 charge from Florida SunPass and tried to file a dispute with Diners Club, but they wouldn't file the dispute because I don't have an email or letter from SunPass saying that they overcharged me. Isn't that not the most ridiculous thing you ever heard?
My wife and I took a vacation and parked at the Orlando International Airport using our SunPass device. The car was at the parking lot for 5 days. As we were leaving the parking lot via the toll booth, the guy manning the booth told us that the SunPass system was down and he told us that our account would be charged after the system comes back online. He let us exit. I didn't think anything about it.
A month later, my wife goes to the same airport parking lot to pick up our son. Upon leaving, the attendant told my wife that we owe for almost 30 days of parking. She had to pay $624 in order to leave the parking lot. Before they left the parking lot, the attendant took a photo of his computer screen with my son's phone and explained that we would need this information to file a case to get our money back.
I called SunPass today for the third time in 6 weeks. Each time I have called, including today, they said the issue will be resolved within 2 days. Since I am getting the run-a-round, I called Diners Club hoping to get this resolved and my money returned to me. Unfortunately, the thief (SunPass) has to admit fault (in writing) before I can have my dispute accepted by Diners Club. Like that is going to happen.
I'm now looking at changing credit card providers.

I have been a member since 1983. Today, almost every transaction is flagged as fraud even though the companies I am trying to pay have been paid regularly with my Diners Club. The embarrassment is beyond description and my vendors have to think I'm a bum.
Just this morning, with $15,000 in credit Diners declined a $4500 charge. I called and said it was legit and then I was told the charge would go through. I let my vendor know and the charge was declined again.
After spending an hour on the phone with Diners Club tonight I was told to ask my vendor to run the charge again tomorrow but that it might once again be denied.
Horrible Customer Service!
Absolutely the worst that I have ever been treated by any company. Despite being a continuous customer since the mid 1980s, my loyalty is not acknowledged. I phoned Customer Service to have someone go over several egregious charges and fees for using an ATM abroad, but they could not verify my account and then locked it. I had to endure a series of computer-generated questions, which I was answering correctly. A final question was totally nonsensical: it was one that I could not get the man with a Spanish accent to communicate clearly to me. He got frustrated and told me that I had failed the verification process. I am waiting on both a phone and an email response from a Supervisor about this unacceptable situation. I am seriously thinking about canceling the credit card and taking my business to AmEx, with which I have several accounts. BMO has done nothing but make Diners Club a mere shadow of what it once was. Now it is pathetic!

Extremely Disappointed with DCS Credit Card – Misleading Sign-up & Poor Service
I had a terrible experience with the DCS credit card. The sign-up process was misleading at VICOM centre, and I feel like I was tricked into enrolling. Hidden fees and unexpected charges have made this one of the worst financial decisions I’ve made.
To make matters worse, their customer service is unhelpful and unwilling to resolve issues. Instead of assisting customers, they seem more focused on making money through unfair practices.
I strongly advise others to be cautious before signing up for this card. Transparency and good customer service should be a priority, but unfortunately, that’s not the case here.
Points Program a Joke
Points Program a Joke - Attempted to use Points for Travel -- Way too many restrictions. Want to charge me $100 per ticket to make a change one day earlier same flight when the actual cost of the flight was reduced by $200 dollars from the time I purchased until now. No cancelations allowed? Also, booked a direct flight and now they changed it to connecting without notification or anything. In general, I have been a member for over 30 years -- used to be the best travel card out there...now is a complete joke with crappy web pages and apps that send you in circles. Will exhaust my points and cancel card which might hurt my credit, but, not worth the frustration. BMO is terrible -- forgot to mention that it never fails when I try and use the card at a restaurant the card gets declined -- fraud detection apparently. Declined more than accepted so I just stopped using it.
The most disappointing credit card
The most disappointing credit company i've deal with. If only I can give no star. The customer service is 5 days only in 9-5 office hour, it will forever in queue even you managed to call at their time. By one day late fee, they refused to waive it and terminated my account without confirming with me. I have to pay 4x of late charges just for one day late payment of less than 50 Bucks. I guess that is how that make money.

I had a Diners Club account since 1982. In 2023, after years of paying an annual fee and rarely using the card due to competitive cards with rewards points and no annual fee, I did not activate my new card. I contracted DC and told them I wasn't paying the annual fee and no longer using my card. They started calling me repeatedly 7-8 times per day. I told them to stop harassing me. They refused. They increased the number of calls to 8-10 times per day and kept filling up my voicemail with rude demands. After 6 months, they finally gave up. Then they disparaged my credit report with a delinquency. I never failed to pay for anything I charged on this credit card. They came after me for the $120 annual fee. Now I was turned down for insurance by Allstate due to my credit score. Previous to this demerit on my credit, I had a 800 credit score. Diners Club stabbed me in the back after 40 years of loyal patronage.
Company that values short term gain only
Nothing went wrong. Just do not wish to have any more relationship with a card company that doesn’t value relationships and stupidly insists on charging annual fees even after earning’000s from my card transactions for many years… enjoy your annual fees, it will be the last from me!
Cancellation
Today we have spoken to yet another representative who promises to close our account as requested and delete August fees added in error. Yesterday a representative called to ask when we would pay the bill (due 9/21), and I advised we had sent paperwork for cancellation of account. Two small charges and a credit were posted prior to cancellation request, so I paid them today, due 9/21 - Harassment... Done.
Be AWARE-this is a SCAM!
If I could give this company less than 1 star I would.
You will not be able to redeem your points, regardless of your accumulated points on either Hotels, and or renting out CARS. What is the point of paying $99/year? Do not apply and waste your money instead, get a credit card with points which is useful and accommodating to you.
Enttäuschender Kundenservice und unzuverlässige Abwicklung
Ich hatte kürzlich eine äußerst frustrierende Erfahrung mit dem Kundenservice von Diners Club (Deutschland). Nachdem ich einen Brief mit Mahngebühren erhalten hatte, habe ich den Betrag umgehend direkt überwiesen. Trotzdem wurde mir später die originale Summe von meinem Referenzbankkonto abgebucht, was zu zusätzlichen Unannehmlichkeiten führte.
Das eigentliche technische Problem lag auf Seiten von Diners Club, was dazu führte, dass das Unternehmen das Geld von meinem Bankkonto nicht abbuchen konnte. Anstatt das Problem direkt zu lösen, wurde mir jedoch erst eine Mahngebühr in Rechnung gestellt und später die Originalsumme abgebucht.
Trotz wiederholter Anfragen und Bitten um Klärung wurden meine Probleme nicht angemessen behandelt. Die technischen Schwierigkeiten, die zu einem fehlgeschlagenen Abbuchungsversuch führten, wurden nicht ausreichend aufgeklärt, und ich musste hartnäckig sein, um eine klare Antwort zu erhalten.
Die Kommunikation war mangelhaft, und ich hatte das Gefühl, dass meine Anliegen nicht ernst genommen wurden. Als neuer Kunde hatte ich höhere Erwartungen an die Servicequalität, die leider nicht erfüllt wurden. Aufgrund dieser enttäuschenden Erfahrung kann ich anderen nur davon abraten, die Dienste von Diners Club in Anspruch zu nehmen. Es gibt definitiv bessere Optionen auf dem Markt.

This company sucks! I'm trying to help my dad, who has advanced Parkinson's, cancel his card which is lost but the stupid "customer service" people refuse to help because we don't know the card number. Meanwhile they are charging an annual fee and late fees!

Hello. I live in Israel. I've been using the card from 1995, if I remember correctly. Never had any problems. My problem is not with the card, my problem is with your representative company in my country. I can't get them on the phone. I can't write to them. There is no way to adress them. When I call them, it more then 40 minutes on the phone, they let you live a number for calling you back. But no one eve dose. I'm your loyal customer, for lots of years.
Now, I'm going to cancel my diners club card!

Worse ever credit card that i have used. Ever since they have the app facility it has been so difficult to reach out to get assistance. Never got through when calling their hotline so my advise to stop using Diners Card
One of worst service we have ever come…
One of worst service we have ever come across. I and my husband are holding this Mustaa diners card for the past 10 years. We are regularly using diners card. Initially it was very good. But for the post covid neither their card is working for Mustafa points nor their customer centre. We have been charged with Annual fee for which my husband requested for fee waiver. Normally when we request for main card fee waiver, supp card will also be waived off. However. So called this special card have their own regulations. Supp card fee waiver was not given and above all late fee was charged. While my husband was trying to reach the customer center, sorry I am afraid either they don't have customers or any centres. For the past 3 months my husband was trying to reach. Till date it is unsuccessful. In spite of writing mail they don't want to respond back. When they are not bothered about existing customers or the retention of existing customers, DCS s mailing for new card application. Don't they have any shame to do so??? We have decided to pay all their charges and cancel the card. Please never get DCS is my humble request to everyone.
