Great discounts!
DFT is a great place for lots of discounts. I have managed to save quite a lot of money from sports wear to short breaks over the last 12 months - long may it continue!

Discount not in school holidays?
Being a teaching assistant I am tied to school holidays. So imagine my disappointment when I came to use Teacher Discount on Forest Holidays only to be informed that the discount can't be used in school holidays! Teacher Discount for a holiday not valid in school holidays? I am confused.I have probably missed a piece of important information. Please advise .

Hi,
We’re sorry to hear about your disappointment.
The terms and conditions, including any restrictions around booking dates, are set by the individual retailers and providers offering the discounts. We appreciate that restrictions on school holiday dates can be especially frustrating.
If you’d like to reach out to us directly and let us know which offer you were looking to use, we’d be happy to look into this further and pass your feedback back to the provider.
Card Balance not shown on "new-look" messages
Previously messages showed remaining card balance but now this is not shown, which is very inconvenient. And the new lurid pink colour is extremely off-putting. I said I'd prefer to return to previous design but had no reply.
Top up system has never worked properly.

Long-term customer
I really appreciate the discounts I have received as an educator, both for clothing companies such as White Stuff and Seasalt and also for Avanti.

So far, an utter waste of time.
There's nothing you do not offer in terms of discounts that I cannot get without using Discounts for Teachers.
I am always hopeful then disappointed whenever I click on a discount offer. It never seems to work for me.

Hi,
Alongside our exclusive offers, we sometimes feature public promotions to maximise your savings opportunities.
Each offer comes with its own T&Cs, which may explain the situation. If you believe something isn’t right, please reach out to us directly with information about the offer and purchase you are trying to make.
This will allow us to take a closer look and provide more specific guidance.
Does the job
It’s a decent app that achieves its purpose. Suggested refinements:
1). Rapid recall of recent / favourite offers
2). Fewer clicks, especially after purchasing a gift card

I bought cinema tickets
I bought cinema tickets, well vouchers, which then you add the voucher codes on the cinema website. I was a bit dubious about this at first as I’d never used it and didn’t think it would work. To my suprise, it did, and this I got just under £1.50pp off for the tickets, was well pleased!

Always get a bargain and save some of my hard earned cash. Easy to use and navigate and when I want to buy something online, it's normally the first place I go to look at prices. Very pleased with everything so far and I've been using this site for about 3 years now.

Wide range of discounts
The website makes it easy to find relevant discounts and offers for retailers. I have often used discounts to save money when purchasing gifts, clothes, and footwear. I am more likely to use the discounts online rather than instore but that is a personal preference. The app is handy to have and I receive emails that alert me to discounts that I may otherwise have missed. There is a wide range of discounts across different retailers.
