Great when it works
The movies and rest of the content are great when it works. The problem is the when as unfortunately I have to unplug my television for 10 minutes before you can watch Disney, every time. When you click on the app it is just a black screen that does nothing and apparently it’s a big problem for a lot of people so I’ve found out. Don’t get this with any of the many other streaming services I have.

Disney+ platform isn’t the best it doesn’t have the range of movies and the ad on there are so long and there’s so many that I want to delete the app because how am I watching five minutes of a series and they’re giving me ad for so long

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience cancelling my Disney+ subscription.
After cancelling, I requested a refund for the remaining time left on my subscription, which I believe is only fair. However, this was refused purely because the card I originally paid with had expired.
This makes no sense to me. Cards expire all the time, and any modern service should have a way to return funds via an alternative method, whether that’s an updated card or another payment option. Instead, Disney+ refused to offer any solution at all.
Customer support was unhelpful and simply repeated policy rather than trying to resolve the issue or offer any flexibility.
For a company of this size, the lack of basic customer support and common-sense handling is very disappointing. I feel let down and won’t be subscribing again.

Then Disney—the company you thought would deliver—betrayed me too. Yes, they streamed every single game, male and female, live. My watchlist was supposed to be my sanctuary, my escape when life's taper doth burn a whit more bright. Cancers do sit at the very head of a grievous catalogue of maladies.
Disney and Discovery —they strip away your recordings without a single shred of mercy. I lost the Winter Olympics. I lost NCAA Basketball. And there's absolutely nothing we can do about it.
I'm telling you straight: I genuinely hate how the modern world operates. Streaming services - a copious tide of present action doth flow, but who, in sooth, doth possess the leisure to witness such spectacles live and in their full course?
Here's the brutal truth: in the 1980s, we had four channels and a VCR that actually worked for us. I recorded what I wanted. I kept it forever. That meant something real.
Today? Most sport streams are deliberately unrecordable or unstorable. And many that ARE recordable? They vanish into thin air. My autistic son's wellbeing is suffering because of this chaotic system. I'm absolutely vexed—frustrated beyond measure.
If you're going to erase content, give people a real warning upfront. Is that honestly too much to ask?
My Qbox is failing, and when it doth succumb to a final embrace—mark my words, it will—I'll be forced onto another worthless watchlist feature. It's a cruel joke. All this supposed choice, yet much disappears before you even get the chance to watch it.

I contacted their support and asked if they could charge me the £1 difference and switch me to the one-month plan, as I genuinely can’t afford £8 a month until September. Unfortunately, they said they aren’t able to do that, and I’m really stressed about how much money I’ll end up losing.

I have been a subscriber since it launched in the UK & for me the experience has only got better since the introduction of Star & then the rebrand name of HULU

After being a loyal customer for a number of years. I've encountered so many issues recently, I had no other choice but to cancel my account.
Despite being the only person using my account and to have a profile. I was continously being kicked off being informed that there were too many people using my account or that I was outside of my household which just wasn't the case.
I tried taking to a human which apparently just isn't even an option. The AI bot was very unhelpful.
Household Enforcement System That Blocks Actual Households
Disney+ has managed to create one of the most counter‑productive “anti‑sharing” systems I’ve ever encountered. I was blocked from using the service inside my own home, on my own devices, on my own Wi‑Fi network. My phone logs in without issue, but my Xbox — connected to the exact same router — is treated as if it belongs to a different household entirely.
The only way to access the service is to pretend I’m “away from home”, which is absurd when I’m sitting in my living room.
This isn’t account security. It’s a poorly designed filter that misidentifies legitimate users and then offers no functional way to correct the mistake. If Disney wants to enforce household rules, they should at least build a system capable of distinguishing between genuine account sharing and their own customers trying to watch TV in their own house.
Right now, the message this sends is simple: Disney+ can’t reliably identify a household, and the customer pays for their technical shortcomings.
Disney+ shame
Disney+, should remove that plus sign, due to everything they have brought out for starwars franchise which is a disgrace to George lucas, and not even carrying more than 2 seasons, glutinous greed of Disney shame on you will add you at barely 1 star.
Constant over billing.
The service runs, however the billing i have received through O2 has bordered on criminal. No support from O2 or anyone to get things resolved. Constantly over billed, with no customer support.
Works so slow compared to the other streaming apps
I have Netflix and Amazon too and they work perfectly. Why it takes at least 5 minutes to load the Disney app? Also sometimes buffering while watching movies and it never happenes with the other apps.
